One of the best hostels I've stayed in and am very well-travelled and have stayed in a lot. The location on the water is amazing and the staff so friendly. I also worked from the rooms downstairs. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Good value accommodation in Oban and only about 1.22km walk from ferry (or train station). Lovely view over the bay! Enjoyed staying here a few times in private rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful and bed comfortable, and table + chairs in room were handy.

I loved this hostel. Truly. Yes it's a hostel so people are loud, doors slam and sometimes you have rude people in the kitchen or in common areas.||But the waterfront property has the most incredible views in the kitchen, common rooms and even some guest rooms. My six-bed female dorm had a bay window overlooking the water and everyone who walked in and saw the big open view said "wow!" Truly a gem to just be in there and taking in the ferries going back and forth throughout the day.||Even in rain when stuck inside, it's not a bad view.||Hostel has 15 spots for guest parking, otherwise there are paid lots nearby. The hostel is a bit out of the main town but very walkable. Kitchen is big and well stocked and there is good fridge and shelf storage.||Wifi is also good throughout the hostel. Laundry on-site too although not connected so if it's raining be ready to cover the clothes.||Staff was really polite and helpful, always ready to help and answer questions. Beds are super comfortable and have a good reading light, but not all have a plug nearby.||My only complaint was the shower in the six-bed dorm. It was so strong that it flooded the bathroom and spray would get on clothes or towels hanging on the door. It's rare to say that pressure was TOO intense but walking out with wet clothes and no real place to hang things inside, didn't really work out. ||That said, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it. This is a great Hosteling Scotland location.

It's a lovely place. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to main street and the pier. Rooms are very clean, staff is very friendly and nice, beds are comfortable. There's a place where you can bring and eat your own food, hot water for a cup of tea, storages and fridges to store your food. There's also a very nice lounge. I think it's great for families and lone travellers as well.

Staff is very friendly and approachable. Room and all the areas we saw were so clean. The area that could be improved on is the shower in 103 it could do with a way to block water going out into the room. The shower is powerful, and if u take longer than 45 seconds, you'll flood the room. We would stay here everytime it was such an easy stay. We felt so welcome.

Not the best hostel I've stayed but certainly one of the best in Scotland indeed with great location! Quite well equipped, always very friendly and helpful staff. There is room for improvement of the facilities but it's not so bad.

Honestly amazing £140 for three nights in January, en-suite private room, clean and massive! As well as a fully stocked kitchen which made cooking so much easier and cheaper. Honestly couldn't recommend a more fantastic hostel or trip. We had the best weather and enjoyed our day trips to Mull & Kererra! Scotland can still be fun even in peak winter!
