Overall facilities very good. Staff also polite. But experience with catering is below expectation.I had dinner in the hotel on the first night, and choices were limited and expensive. I had a fish but found out half cooked during serving. They just took the remaining portion into the kitchen and re-cook it instead of replacing a new one.Breakfast on last day was also annoying. Our orders of egg was delayed/forgotten ! After chasing, my wife's hard boil egg order became soft egg. And my fried egg order never came and I just gave up. I guess visitors of the property typically has a car and I strongly recommend people to have meals outside.

Amazing hotel. Everything was great from the room to the spa, jaccuzzi, swimming pool, very big gym, the reception was really nice ! We had a relaxing and chill weekend as we wanted. Also there is a direct bus to St Gallen which was very convenient. We will definitely come back again!

Stayed 3 days 2 nights on business. Really impressed. |Hotel is a few miles outside St Gallen. Quiet rural location with nice countryside walks and set in lovely grounds. |Spa area is fantastic and outdoor thermal pool lovely, great to use when it was raining and I’d love it in the snow; such a contrast. ||Rooms big, lovely large walk in shower. All amenities possible. But no mini bar. ||Breakfast was fine, had more than enough. ||Staff friendly, place spotless. ||A piano player performs for afternoon tea, this creates a nice atmosphere. ||The clients here seem quite mature this certainly isn’t a young and lively hotel or one for younger families I’d suggest. It’s more a relax and chill hotel. Being attached to a wellness clinic maybe attracts clients who want that slower pace. Even the gym had an older client feel to it. I only mention so people can be aware what to expect but I loved the chilled vibes and well maintained communal areas to read or have coffee in.

This is a lovely place that feels away from everything. It has spacious air-conditioned rooms with plenty of closet spaces and plenty of hangers (what a treat!) besides having a good nice size bathroom with a great shower. The beds are firm and with many elevators. The rooms also have balconies facing green fields with nice paths, swimming pool and lounging areas. Very peaceful. The breakfast is good and the staff courteous. What else can you ask for? There are buses a little way outside the hotel, so if one does not have own transportation this could be a drawback though. Recommended.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. My husband and I celebrated his birthday and the staff made it so much fun. Little extras to make his day so lovely. The spa is beautiful and my husband said his massage was excellent. Worth the extra money. The food was delicious and well prepared. Very special. Would come back in a heartbeat. It is a clinic so there are elderly people hanging around but it shouldn’t make a difference. The wait staff is attentive and sweet. All around a great experience. Thank you!

Love this hotel ! Amazing view from the room! Close to st gallen marketplace There is. Station named OBERWAID so you won’t miss where to take a bus or when to leave. They give you a local pass foe transportation for free ! There are doctors on board and you get physically evaluated if you book for medical care. It is worth knowing before you book that the spa including sauna steam jacuzzi and other service usually get the annual maintenance between 30 th of June and 3 rd of July each year so try to avoid this time for your booking ans relaxation vacation !

Amazing Hotel very near St. Gallen. Very professional personnel, always smiling and ready to arrange what you ask for.Luxury Hotel with amazing Spa (steam rooms,sauna,indoor pool.woth relaxing area and unique favorite outdoor heated jacuzzi-pool), renovated, really spacious rooms with amazing balcony view, cigar room, cards-billiard room.And definitely wonderful gardens. Professional Hoteliers, amazing people in reception (apologize to the really polte girl who made for us the check-in and check-out but did not catch up her name).

The stay was for 4 nights. Check in and check out was simple and quick. Room was spacious and comfortable with nice lake view. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was big and modern. Spa has hamam, sauna, nice whirpool, and internal swimming pool, good variety! My experience with massage was very bad, the spa manager removed it from my bill. The restaurant served breakfast with many varieties and dinner was 4 courses. Grade: Starter (5/5), soup (4/5), main (4/5), dessert (2-3/5). Service in the restaurant can be improved for example on first day dinner, waiting for 5 min by entrance till someone came and although informed 4 days ahead to reserve table at 19.00, there was no available table and needed to wait 20-25 min. Another time, asking to wait for 5 min for dessert but waited for 25 min and needed to ask again to bring dessert although waitress kept asking during eating if everything was ok! Breakfast was always busy so if you miss ordering something, it will take longer till someone comes to you again , sometimes they brought orders that belong to other tables, another time they forgot to bring extra bread and another dish after asking them. However, staff were friendly in general.
