Oborishte 63,The Art Boutique Hotel (Sofia, Sofia City Province) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Initially built as a private residence in the 1930s, Oborishte 63 still feels like a home, just one with unusually good taste. Set on a quiet street in Sofia’s Centrum district, the nine-suite hotel celebrates Bulgarian visual artists, with each room designed around a different master. The result is deeply personal: curated color palettes, custom textures, and a clear sense of narrative. Breakfast is served in-room, Boho restaurant delivers modern European plates, and the terrace offers a peaceful pause. Art sets the tone here, framing not just the rooms, but the experience as well." - Tablet Hotels

✨Wonderful Stay in a Quiet and Stylish Hotel ✨ The hotel is located on a peaceful street, just a short 6-minute walk from the metro station. The surrounding area is vibrant, with plenty of great bars and restaurants to explore. Initially, I booked a room on the first floor, which was a bit too close to the reception and had windows facing the restaurant. Fortunately, the staff kindly helped us switch to a suite on the third floor (for charge) —and it was perfect! The room was quiet, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was served directly in the room, which added a lovely touch to the experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended

We had a great stay here- we actually stayed twice. The rooms were both very spacious- had separate sleeping and living areas and the decor was very beautiful. Both of our rooms (junior suites) had their own balconies. The hotel is in a prime location in Sofia, close to the center but far enough away to be quiet. We used the complimentary sauna which was a wonderful way to relax on a rainy day. Will stay here again!

The hotel is very clean, with all necessary amenities in the room. The location is good, close to points of interest, but I must point out an important issue: parking. If you are a foreign tourist, you may face serious difficulties finding a parking space, which can cause significant inconvenience. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the attitude of the receptionist (the young man with glasses). From the very first interaction, there was a complete lack of openness and willingness to help. His tone and behavior were rigid, showing none of the basic courtesy and hospitality one would expect in a hotel. We felt as if we were not welcome there, which should never happen in customer service. The most upsetting moment was in the morning, when we came down for breakfast (included in the room price) during the allocated time, only to be told—completely nonchalantly—that the cook had already left. We were traveling with a 5-year-old child, but this did not seem to matter to him. He offered to prepare breakfast himself, although that is clearly not his responsibility, which raises serious questions about the hotel’s organization and service standards. We did not pay for an improvised experience, but for complete services as advertised by the hotel. I have never written a review like this before, and it is not something I enjoy doing, but I believe it is important for the owners to know that such behavior can undermine all the other positive aspects of a stay. I will not return to this hotel—not because of the conditions, which were good—but solely because of the receptionist’s attitude. People come back to places where they feel welcome, and in our case, that feeling was completely absent.

It’s a very nice boutique hotel, the room was really stylish and spacious. The receptionists were super nice and helpful. Great location with good restaurants and cafes around. We walked everywhere and took taxis to go out to restaurants at night. Highly recommended

Our first impression of this four-star hotel was a negative one. The young receptionist, in sweatpants, was unwelcoming and unprofessional, which immediately set the wrong tone. While our room was spacious and adequately furnished with an attempt at unique decor, we were disappointed to find the electric window blinds completely inoperable. The remote controls were nowhere to be found, and the front desk staff's poor excuse that "no one has asked about this before" was unhelpful. The nicely made fireplace was a highlight, if working it will be a great feature in the winter months. Overall, this hotel did not deliver the high-end, boutique experience its price point suggests.

Great little hotel, in a pleasant neighbourhood with a good choice of shops, restaurants and bars, about 2km to the east of the centre of the city.||Our room was (Nocturno) was clean, comfortable and had an excellent shower.||Decent breakfast menu which, due to limited space in the lobby, they offer to bring to your room. ||Last and by no means least, all the staff are friendly and helpful.

A beautiful boutique hotel in a smart suburb 15 minutes from the city centre. All around the hotel are upmarket bars and restaurants - all within less than 10 minutes walk. The rooms are all themed - ours was called Fairy Tale - which was more a suite than a room - open plan bedroom with separate suite area, fridge and coffee. Walk in wet room shower - shower was excellent with high pressure. The bathroom was sleek and modern with all amenities plentifully supplied. A well stocked and inexpensive minibar. The bed was super king size with one of the most comfortable mattresses we’ve ever slept on. Very quiet neighbourhood - so had a quiet, restful and peaceful nights sleep. Would highly recommend

nice place to stay in a trendy area, albeit a good 20 minutes walk to the centre. the receptionists were both friendly and helpful. only the room cleaning let the place down. they didn't come one day and I wasn't convinced the bathroom was perfectly clean
