Observatory Guest House

Good location close to Busselton Jetty, comfortable accommodation. Shower was nice and hot, however the shower curtain wanted to stick to you and there is no power point in the bathroom. The room is motel style, however it is roomy enough. There is a table and 2 chairs outside the room near the carpark, which was nice to soak up the sun.|Continental breakfast was good with bread, yoghurt, fresh and tinned fruit and a|good selection of cereals, as well as tea, pod coffee and instant coffee.|The room could do with a bit of a refresh as it looks a bit tired and the front door needs replacing or fixing up as the bottom of the door is delaminating. Having said that there are usb chargers in the room which was very convenient. |Communication was great and check in was easy.

Awful. Paper thin bedroom walls so you can hear everything in the adjoining bedrooms. Breakfast supposedly available from 08.00 but this isn’t enforced so we were woken by someone having breakfast at 05.35. Completely unresponsive to e-mails when we mentioned our poor stay - all we got were automatic e-mails thanking us for staying with them and hoping we enjoyed it. We did not. Checked out a day early and stayed elsewhere. So if you want a good nights sleep and genuinely interested hosts I’d suggest you stay somewhere else.

Enjoyed our stay here. Room 5 ground floor at back carpark was quiet, easy access, protected and codes for entry. Continental breakfast was extensive and well laid out with 5 couple tables. Easy access to town, beach, jetty and restuarants.

Cute Airbnb a quick walk to the jetty and into town. There's a simple breakfast provided in the morning with kettle and fridge in the room. The bed was just two singles pushed together and the is table just large enough to hold two cups and two plates. Would come back.

Most comfortable accommodation that we have used in along while! Location was very convenient for the jetty ,and close walking distance to restaurants. Breakfast area is adequate,fresh fruit would be good! Relaxing stay in Busselton!

My wife and I stayed at the Observatory Guesthouse on the 2nd June for one night. I received an email two days prior advising how to access the guesthouse and our room with the codes required for the electronic locks. Our room was upstairs accessed by a narrow steep staircase which may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. The room itself was comfortable and appropriate for our stay. Breakfast was self service with fruit juice (in a 2L plastic container in the fridge,) three choices of cereal, a choice of small packets of jam, honey, Vegemite and cheese to go with the two types of bread that was also kept in the fridge. Tea and coffee and fruit was also available. I received an email during our stay checking that our self service check-in went ok and that everything in our room was as expected. After our stay I again received an email checking that we had enjoyed our stay. Besides the emails, there was no personal meeting with anyone associated with the guesthouse. The guesthouse location is fabulous, close to the Busselton Jetty and the Esplanade Hotel (where we had dinner.) For the price that we paid we thought that this was appropriate accommodation. We would consider staying here again.

Stayed one night. Room was at the back no room view just roof top. Problem getting up the stairs with luggage husband recently had knee replacement so was hard work getting up the stairs. Breakfast was OK you just help yourself to toast tea or coffee cereal was also available. Only 2 yoghurts in the fridge so if anyone else wanted one non available. Place was near the Jetty so that was handy. We paid $195 for the two of us.
