Our experience with Obsolet was extremely disappointing. Initially, we discovered the store in Deja, which was more focused on fashion than on furniture. The next day, we were encouraged by the customer advisors to visit the store in Palma as well as the warehouses, as they also deliver to Switzerland.
So we traveled 1.5 hours to Palma and back. We liked the furniture there, as we were looking for several sideboards, dressers, and a dining table. After that, we were shown the warehouses and the store in Val de Mossa, which again involved a 1.5-hour drive. Since we were very interested in purchasing, we made the trip to Val de Mossa as well.
In the end, we decided to choose the furniture directly from the Palma store. They promised us a quote for furniture worth approximately €8,000 to €10,000 and the exact delivery conditions. Unfortunately, nothing has happened since then (it has now been three weeks).
If we had known from the beginning that they would treat us this way as customers, we definitely would not have invested so much time. This disappointing experience highlights the importance of transparent communication and respectful treatment of customers and also that they do not understand that at all. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, and the furniture is too expensive for this level of service. Therefore, we cannot recommend Obsolet.
