The food was good. We ordered the big snails and the clams. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side. We were sitting on the footpath with small shared tables. Overall, it was a good experience and gave us a glimpse of the local way of life. If you come here late at night, there will be many people waiting in line.

Initially thought this must be a tourist trap, but when they brought the platter in front of me I knew they are legit. Ốc mít is a type of nails that I grown up eating but now hard to find in southern Vietnam. They let you customise your own dipping sauce with finely chopped lime leaves, ginger, lemongrass and fresh chilli. What an experience! I love it. The nails and pipis are fresh and clean (no sandy taste) cooked in a tasty fragrant broth. If you are foreigner, order “nem chua ran” (deep fried longganisa) instead of “nem bui Bac Ninh” (a local delicacy make from pork skin).

Best snail experience in Hanoi. Snails are fresh and boiled well. Can be eaten on it's own without any funny taste. The tangy sauce adds a different dimension to it. You can add garlic or chilli or squeeze in the provided lime to your preference.

3.5rating, the snails were cooked in lemongrass and the dipping sauce was slightly sour and salty making it taste light and refreshing. Personally preferred the steam clams, the broth was sweet from the clam and pineapple a very unique taste. Worth trying

Great for a quick snack. Had big snails and steamed clams and both were delicious. Fair price and in a very busy area close to beer street.

Eat like a local in Hanoi . Squeeze in together with people to enjoy some amazing food. Friendly service and the people around you are friendly.the squid was just yummy for the soul and tried the clams, loaded the sauce with ginger and chilli keeping it spicy and prepping your stomach to digest. Be prepared to wait a bit also will sit pretty close to everyone around you. Don’t forget to top it with lemonade or sugar cane juice.
