Occidental Praha Five

On our arrival we were greeted by friendly front office staff. They gave us all the information and were accommodating. The breakfast selection was good. Rooms were clean and prepared well, no issues at all. The location is perfect, if you like to explore your surroundings and not be city center in the chaos. We enjoyed our stay and will return again.

Great Value for a Comfortable Stay My husband and I stayed here for three nights and three days, and had a great experience. The location is excellent, walkable distance from the Center, and just a short walk from metro, tram stations, and supermarkets with plenty of fantastic cafes, bistros and bars nearby. Our room was spacious, clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and large enough for my 194 cm tall husband. The bathroom was tidy too, though the shower had a bit of calcaire buildup that could have been cleaned better. Otherwise, everything felt well maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room cool and pleasant. The gym is decent. It is a bit small but has all the basics and does the job for a quick workout. The elliptical was a little shaky while using it, but still usable. Overall, a solid choice for both comfort and convenience.

I felt very welcome! Parkinghall, sauna, fitness and wellness area downstairs. My room was upgraded as a pleasant surprise. The gentleman at the reception gave me a map, marked good restaurants on it and gave me tips on many different things. Very nice experience! 30min walk to Praha centre. The rib-eye with demi glace and burger and chocolate fondant was the best ever!!!

I had a wonderful experience during my stay! The front desk staff, Julie were exceptionally friendly and professional she is always happy to help with any questions or help. Her warm attitude and attention to detail truly made my stay memorable. Thank you so much, Julie. Highly recommended!

Great stay, 3-nights during summer and the room felt comfortable. The workout are is insufficient but does the job. We didn’t have breakfast at the property. I definitely recommend this place. The team stop is 10mn walk and multiple food options nearby.

Great stay! Comfortable bedroom, very clean and big room. Nice staff and location was good! Got an upgraded room and they let us use the luggage drop off while we waited for check in.

Helpful staff on arrival. Welcoming and gave good advice on local transport links and helpful phrases to use. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and serviced daily. Breakfast was excellent and catered for all dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Local metro easy to navigate and easy to get to town centre.

We arrived here one day early to join our tour group. We stayed in their junior suite for our family of 3. It was nice to have all that space. The sofa bed was all ready made up when we arrived which was nice. The room was updated enough with no carpet. It was clean and comfortable. |The thing that disappointed us what the airport transfer we had included when we booked the hotel. When we arrived at Prague airport, the driver was not there as we expected. I called the hotel and they initially claimed that I didn't book it. When they found the reservation, they said that I didn't give them our arrival information so they basically assumed that I made other arrangements. Perhaps this was my fault but I would have expected them to follow up with me to ask about my arrival flight information. Anyway, they sent an airport transfer which arrive half hour later but then it was mid-size car. I originally booked a minivan knowing that we will have at least 4 luggages with us. The lady driver was shocked to see how many bags we had and called whoever. Anyway, in the end she took us to her car and she loaded up all our luggages between the trunk and the front seat. I could tell it frustrated her but she made it work. We were thankful as we didn't want to wait any longer. We probably cool have taken an Uber van which was quite available there at the airport. |I have to say that the Praha Five felt bad and to make up for the inconvenience they sent us a bottle of champagne and a cheese, meat, and fruit plate. It was a very nice gesture. |Breakfast and dinner service was good. The wait staff was attentive. The bartender, Julius, was friendly and helpful. We brought down the unopened (room temperature) champagne bottle and he exchanged it for a cold one so we can enjoy it. |It's about a 10 minute walk from the mall where they have a food court and supermarket and shops. But the Old Town area is about half hour because of the traffic.
