Hotel Occidental Praha Five RE: Exceptional Service from Oscar Our two-night stay was made memorable almost entirely by one staff member: Oscar. While we encountered some impatience from other staff towards group guests, Oscar was consistently friendly, welcoming, and professional. He greeted us every morning with a bright smile that truly contrast to the gloomy weather of these two days. It's commendable that he maintains such a high standard of customer service. His positive attitude is a credit to the hotel, and he should be highly recognized for his efforts. We highly recommend this hotel if only for the chance to be welcomed by Oscar.

The Reception area was inviting and clean. This continued all the up to our room which was made available well before the check in time. The bed was nice and firm, the shower was hot with good pressure. The fridge was of a good size and did not keep us awake at night.|All the staff were welcoming from the moment of check in through to check out and speak English fluently. |The hotel is a short walk from a bus terminal which can take you directly to and from the airport. The local tram stop is also well within walking distance, as is the Metro station all of which take you into the city centre.

On our arrival we were greeted by friendly front office staff. They gave us all the information and were accommodating. The breakfast selection was good. Rooms were clean and prepared well, no issues at all. The location is perfect, if you like to explore your surroundings and not be city center in the chaos. We enjoyed our stay and will return again.

Very convenient location—it is very close to the metro and tram station so you can quickly get to the city center. The room is spacious and modern, and the breakfast had a decent amount of food to choose from. It was also fairly cheap considering that breakfast and dinner were included. It is definitely a great hotel to stay at while in Prague, excellent value for money

The hotel is easy to reach from the airport and has good public transport links - the centre is also walkable. Spotless rooms with very comfy beds ||and the windows are well soundproofed ||so the road at the front was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay here again. If walking to Charles Bridge from the hotel, have breakfast at Bell Vida cafe - superb food and service!

Great Value for a Comfortable Stay My husband and I stayed here for three nights and three days, and had a great experience. The location is excellent, walkable distance from the Center, and just a short walk from metro, tram stations, and supermarkets with plenty of fantastic cafes, bistros and bars nearby. Our room was spacious, clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and large enough for my 194 cm tall husband. The bathroom was tidy too, though the shower had a bit of calcaire buildup that could have been cleaned better. Otherwise, everything felt well maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room cool and pleasant. The gym is decent. It is a bit small but has all the basics and does the job for a quick workout. The elliptical was a little shaky while using it, but still usable. Overall, a solid choice for both comfort and convenience.

My girlfriend and I had a really great experience in this hotel. Nice rooms, kind staff and good food diversity and quality in both breakfast and dinner.||||The only thing I didn't like was that when there was few people for dinner the water machine was out of service. It happened more than once (and I read other people experienced it several times). I think it's not worth it to make guests pay 5.70€ for water worsening the generally good experience we had in the hotel.

The hotel has a very good location. It is very clean and the food really good. The staff is super friendly. I cannot think of anything bad honestly.
