Ocean 101 Beach Resort

Location is great, its right in front of the beach. The pricier rooms are those facing the beach, but there are cheaper rooms with a garden view, but still very near the pool and beach area. They also have a restaurant inside the resort, which has a great view. Food is average, but good for the price. They also don't impose corkage fees if you bring in food/drinks/liquor from outside (but only to your rooms, not to their restaurant). The rooms are clean and cozy, bathroom has bidet and hot/cold shower which was nice.

Nice spot, great views, nice pool and garden area They are a bit weird about the 'breakfast included' option; we took the breakfast included option when we booked the room and it turned into a rigmarole as things like brewed-coffee and calamansi tea are extra, only undrinkable instant coffee was included. The restaurant and reception staff seems to see 'breakfast included' as taking advantage of them for a free breakfast, it's lost on them that you paid for it with them booking save yourself the hassle and get the room only rate and pay on site for your breakfast. (It's cheaper anyway)

Lovely experience! The staff is cheerful and friendly. Good food and awesome location, right in front of the surf spot jacking horse (if you are a beginner) or 2 min walk from the boats to Stimpy's and Rock Island (if you’re growing your surf). Can't recommend this enough!

I recently stayed at Ocean 101 Beach Resort in Siargao, and it was a truly peaceful and rejuvenating experience. Was not staying, here. Just visited restaurant (twice). Really tasty food and great drinks (awesome fresh Mango and pineapple Daiquiry). Just the service us REALLY slow.

There's a waterfront view, and that's the only redeeming quality. This is simultaneously the most expensive and lowest quality accommodation I had after 2 months of living on the Philippines. They have major infrastructure issues. The shower/sink spray saltwater, and the water heater is not properly grounded, so you can get shocked by it. The wifi just doesn't work (receivers are underpowered for the size of the property). The online booking system doesn't actually link to their inventory, so my friends who booked later than me showed up with an email confirmation, only to be told no rooms were available. The staff are "friendly", but that just means they will tell you with a smile on their face that there is nothing they can do to help.

Cozy, spacious place to stay. Accessible and near to the famous Cloud 9. Has a grocery store beside the gate. Cool infinity pool. Has a blend of wood and concrete architecture.
