Ocean 101 Beach Resort

Booked Waterfront Executive which has the pool and sea view. Room is decent, but they don’t have a phone for service request, staffs will just refer that you go to the front desk which is kinda far. Bathroom/Shower - 1/5 because of the shower head is not adjustable and the water pressure is weak sometimes FREE BREAKFAST - the food is decent as well The pool is clean, and place is quiet. It is best to stay here if you’re done with your itineraries in Siargao and just want to relax and enjoy the view

I stayed there with my family for 2 weeks. All the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The outdoor area of the hotel is amazing. We have been to many hotels when we were there (to eat lunch) and we agreed that Ocean 101 had the best pool and hotel views in the island. If you are a surfer is a great place to stay as well (close to all the main waves). The rooms are very simple but comfortable.

If you’re coming to Siargao for surfing or just want to soak in the Cloud 9 vibe, Ocean 101 is pretty much right where you want to be. The location is unbeatable — it’s literally a stone’s throw from the famous Cloud 9 boardwalk. I could sit on the deck with my morning coffee and watch the sunrise while surfers were already out there catching waves. It doesn’t get more Siargao than that.||||The rooms are simple, nothing too fancy, but comfortable enough. Think island style — wooden interiors, basic amenities, and a cozy vibe that fits the surf culture. Don’t expect five-star luxury, but you’re not here for that anyway. You’re here for the location, the beach, and the sunsets that look like they’ve been Photoshopped.||||The food at the restaurant surprised me — portions are big (which is great after wiping out on waves all day) and the prices are reasonable compared to other nearby spots. The only thing is service can sometimes be on “island time” — you might wait a bit longer for your food, but hey, you’re in Siargao. Relax. Grab a beer, watch the waves, and remember you’re not stuck in traffic somewhere.||||What I really loved was the vibe. The resort feels social without being loud. You meet surfers, travelers, and locals hanging around, but it’s still peaceful enough to nap in a hammock. The staff were super friendly too — always smiling, always ready to help.||||Overall, Ocean 101 isn’t about luxury, it’s about location, community, and that laid-back surf lifestyle. If you want to wake up, walk a few steps, and be at one of the best surf spots in Asia, this place nails it. Just bring a little patience and a sense of humor — after all, if your breakfast takes 20 minutes, it’s just more time to stare at that insane view.||||Would I stay again? Definitely yes. Just don’t blame them if you get hooked and end up extending your stay… like I did.

By far the WORST experience I've had till date would not suggest this hotel to. Anyone. They have excellent location but feels like a PRISON by the beach. Food was ok. Wanted to have beer at shed by the beach with friends in the evening they made us sit in the corner of the hotel like some OUTCASTS. we wanted to swim in the pool at 6am. They would not allow saying the pool opens at 8am. There no lifeguard anyways no one was cleaning the pool. There was no signage saying pool opens 8am. I guess they make their rules depending on the customer. Even the hot water in the shower was not working when I asked they said nothing can be done about it. Horrible horrible experience

My partner, son, and I stayed at Ocean 101 Cloud 9 Surf Resort for 6 nights and 7 days. We booked two rooms — my partner and I stayed in the Executive Beachfront Room, while my son stayed in one of the Garden Rooms. The beachfront room had an absolutely breathtaking view, especially at sunset, and both rooms were kept very clean. The beds were comfortable, although we often had to request hand towels for the bathroom.||The resort’s restaurant serves really good food and delicious cocktails, with prices that were very reasonable — especially for drinks. The swimming pool was well maintained and cleaned daily. Staff were friendly, and the whole resort had a very family-friendly atmosphere.||One of my favourite moments was relaxing in the hammock, watching the birds, and enjoying the sunset every day — pure bliss.||The resort was fully booked mid-week during our stay, and while we understand the staff were busy, service for other guests should not have been compromised. For example, every time we ordered a mango shake, we were told they had run out of mangoes — something that could have been easily sourced from nearby shops.||Despite this, I would happily return and recommend Ocean 101 Cloud 9 Surf Resort to anyone looking for a beautiful, family-friendly beach getaway with unforgettable sunsets.

Restaurant review: view is spectacular. Pizzas great. We’ve come 3 times this week and 2 times the bartender wasn’t in, so we weren’t able to get the cocktails we originally came in for. Getting a full time bartender would be my only feedback. Otherwise great

We stayed for 4d3n and absolutely loved it! We were picked up by their staff, The place is clean, beautifully designed, and perfectly frames the beach, coconut trees, and passing paraws. Quiet, spacious, and exclusive, great for peaceful moments and photos. Breakfast was yummy, and it’s a short walk to nearby restaurants

We stayed here in July and had great time. Food was great value and very tasty. Cocktails also very good value. Staff were helpful and it was kept very clean and tidy. Rooms cleaned evey day. Lovely swimming pool and ocean on your doorstep.
