Ocean 7 Rooftop Bar and Grill

I went here twice and it was so good. (Would go back)The first time I went I got outdoors. Outdoors is so tranquil, you just sit and listen to the waves crashing onto the wall. The music was delite. The food was absolutely good, prepared with love. Sending my regards to the chef. My waiter was theee best she made sure everything was alright and her attitude towards customers is awesome. She was so nice that i had to help her with the plates. While eating we saw a party on a yacht, they were vibing. Five stars highly recommended for late night dates. Chefs kiss.

Ocean 7 Bar and Grill offered me a mixed experience. On the positive side, Sash, my server, provided excellent service—friendly and attentive throughout the meal. My jerk chicken had a nice presentation, but it was just okay in taste, lacking the spice I was hoping for. On the other hand, my amaretto sour tasted great and was a highlight of the meal.The balcony view was absolutely stunning and made for a great backdrop, but the wobbly tables and weathered tabletops definitely detracted from the overall ambiance. It’s a place with potential, but it could use a few improvements to really shine. The combination of great service and beautiful views makes it worth a visit, but I hope they work on refining the details to enhance the dining experience.

Food is very tasty, very respectful staff and nice ambience. Defintely reccomend!

I recently visited Ocean 7, a restaurant located in downtown, and I must admit, my experience was a mixed bag. Menu Selection The menu was surprisingly limited, which made it difficult to find something exciting to try. For a restaurant in a prime downtown location, I expected more variety and creativity. Food Quality The pasta I ordered was disappointingly bland, lacking any real flavor. The chicken, which should have been a highlight, had an odd taste that left much to be desired. Even the chicken on the burger, which could have redeemed itself, was bland and uninspiring. That said, the burger sauce was a rare bright spot, packing a good punch of flavor that somewhat saved the dish. The BBQ wings were perfectly tender, smoky, and bursting with flavor. Side Dishes The wedges, however, were exceptional! Crisp, golden, and perfectly seasoned, they stood out as the best part of the meal. They even outshone many other places I’ve been to. Drinks The drinks were impressively strong, which was a definite plus. If nothing else, you can count on Ocean 7 for a solid drink. Overall While Ocean 7 has some redeeming qualities, like its drinks and outstanding wedges, the overall dining experience fell flat due to a lack of menu options and underwhelming main dishes. I’d recommend this spot only if you’re in the mood for drinks and a quick snack, but not for a satisfying meal. Rating: 3

That sunset view was amazing...... There was something a bit overpowering in the steak, but it was still delish. Everything else was on point. I don't remember the name of my server, but my server was great.... Always checking on us and smiling.

Came here for a late dinner on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at around 10:00 pm after working well past a decent hour and missing all opportunities to check other places. Nonetheless, we arrived and were greeted nicely at the entry and offered a table on the outdoor deck. The view was lovely. We ordered drinks and placed our dinner order right away to avoid missing the kitchen closing. I had the oxtail and my dad had the O7 burger. Sadly, they didn’t have rice and peas so it was white rice which is fine as well since as long as the oxtail is well made the gravy will be all that matters. I asked if the oxtail was made with butter beans as is customary with Jamaican versions of braise oxtail and told yes. Was a little worried when I was told I was getting the last serving of oxtail, and sure enough the outcome of that was my dish had no beans in the gravy. For me, while disappointing it wasn’t a deal killer. Especially as the oxtail was very well made and not greasy, tender and fell apart easily. My dad thoroughly enjoyed his burger and I stole some of his fries which were lovely. My white rum and coke was stiff and generous (lol) but didn’t have other drinks so not much to review there. Our service was pleasant and filled with smiles, and our server was pleasant and attentive without being pushy and also not being unreachable. The view, like with Gloria’s on the second floor and Ribbiz on the ground floor of Victoria Wharf, was awesome and pleasant. Forgot to take photos of the food as we were having a great time with the view…

The view was lovely and the server was polite, but the food was cold and most menu options were not available. Red wine (by the glass) was also slightly spoiled. Will give one more try because I am hoping this is a result of post hurricane issues, but if not for that I would not be compelled to return.

Don't waste your time or money... Hostess barely greeted us upon arrival and barely spoke when guiding us to a table. The waitress took awhile to arrive as did the drinks which I found to be way to strong. The ocean 7 burger only had cheese and tups of the special sauce, the fries weren't even crispy and the ketchup provided was a small ration. The waitress seemed annoyed by my requests which was off putting since my meal wasnt free...
