Ocean Beach Backpackers

One of the best hostels in australia! Good vibe, nice people and excellent staff. Rooms are nice and there is a cozy inner courtyard where people meet in the evening. Best location near the beach with bars and supermarkets nearby. All u ever wanted :)

I spent really nice time, atmosphere is good, all of staff are friendly. Also I can relaxed because the room have bathroom. There is everyday cleaning. Except every night party, I recommend there. If you can sleep though party sound..!

Talk about a great location; right across the street from the beach! The room was fairly average, as was the service. My only real complaint was when I went to check out for an early flight, there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell, called out, even called the phone at the desk. I gave up when my taxi arrived and just left the keycard. The restaurant was decent and had a friendly staff. The pub and backpacker hotel attached can get rather noisy on weekend nights, but they quiet down eventually. I think the location trumps everything though. Great spot to watch a sunset.

It was good, the views are nice and the staff are friendly but the toilets are kind of hidden at the back up some stairs with minimal signage. Food was good but not legendary; for the price, you could go anywhere else and have a similar thing. Overall a nice experience

One of the best backpacker hostels I've been too, usually very clean, nice spectrum of people and nationalities (a lot of fifo workers too). Close to beach, area is great for running, outdoor gym close by. Rooms are spacious, each 8 person dorm has restroom with shower... Not too overcrowded.

I enjoyed a delicious wagyu burger here, with caramelized onion. One of the top burgers of all time I'd say! The staff were friendly and service was relatively fast. They have a great courtyard out the back for sunny days too.

The pictures are very tricky and so far from reality. The rooms are noisy and filthy. There are no big lockers for your entire backpack. I feel really uncomfortable, I've always been in such nice hostels everywhere, I'm very disappointed by this one. The only good thing is the location.

Location.. location..location! 5 Stars! THIS place has happy positive vibes/energy! I am not a salesman, but (in my personal opinion), this is the "finest" backpackers in Australia! Very clean, awesome location, extremely close to Cottesloe beach, with a walking path & park and a "spectacular" view of the Indian ocean! Public transport & a taxi rank just a short walk around the corner! Cafe, pub, liquor store & laundromat next door! Local restaurants & grocery store just a short walk away. This is the best backpackers I have ever been to, in my life. Lovely, kind, warm, friendly, courteous, understanding & welcoming management & reception staff with excellent clear communication. You meet friendly, kind, facinating backpacker's from all over the world, from all walks of life! Reception staff were 100% accomodating, even when I was due to check-in at 11:30pm-12AM, at such a late hour!
