Great weekend getaway, stayed a few nights Nice camping site, away from the ocean winds Own beach front for the kids to swim and no one else around Had own fire pit which was used, had to bring own firewood. Rangers could be little more friendly, but they are just doing their jobs. No need for personality Fun little 4wd and not too far from Brisbane

Camp grounds are well maintained and marked with posts at the entrance so you can see as when travelling on the beach. All of the camping spots are back off the beach, and the wind is blocked, so ensure you have mozzie repellent. The northern end (camp 62, 63, 64) was THICK with mozzies. Ended up booking another site and moving to the 30s, and while still mozzies (to be expected), they were nowhere near as dense. Every site is practically a 50m walk to the beach. Did have bluebottles washed up on shore in the morning, so if you plan on doing some swimming, consider a rashie. Had some friendly wallaby's, bush turkeys, and a pig kicking around the area. The sand track to the beach is slow going but not very long at all. Nice big carpark and area for deflating tyres before and inflating after at track entrance. Once you're on the beach, there's plenty of room.

Magic place apart from the feral pigs that raided camp sites at night. Would have been nice if the rangers mentioned it. Actually would’ve been good if they had a bit of personality and made people feel welcome when doing permit checks. Toilets were well maintained and cold showers very useful. We are so lucky to have places like this in SEQ.

Great spot for camping. You must book in advance but it's worth it. Fishing isn't as good as it used to be but it has its moments. The track to access these amazing camp-sites has been chopped up and is very soft in areas. Recommend very low tyre pressure. Also the attached pictures are of camp site M - 30.

Love this place… can’t recommend anymore then I do.. just sucks how the “locals” “Greenies” book all the beach front camp sites on a Saturday so we can’t book a full wked.. that’s why no one can book on line for a full wked unless they missed booking a site and you were just lucky enough to book a full wked, i book about 4-6mths head and always keep to my booking as I love camping there… I leave the camp site clean, so let’s hope u do too 🙏🏼

We just got back from a 1 night stay at Ocean Beach Bribie Camping - camp site “S” (57 & 58). We should have stayed for at least 3 nights. The these sites were too far away from the toilets, beach walk was 15 minutes each way and there was no other walking path. The sites were too far back from the beach so there was no breeze. The sites had copious amounts of mosquitoes- they were all over us, at every hour of the day & night! The strongest deet spray we had was not enough! The other sites there might be ok, and maybe a different time of year….but I would suggest to avoid these sites in January! There were also cane toads out at night, so watch out!! On a positive note: plenty of kangaroos and native birds!

The best camping place near Brisbane. Amazing views! Toilets and showers very clean and well maintained. Can be very busy especially during public holidays but still you are able to find a spot on the beach to relax.

Beautiful spot but be aware there are wild pigs. Cant leave anything out vaguely smelling of food as pigs the size of large dogs will descend at night and cause mayhem. They will even moved furniture and opened latches on fridge and buckets to get in there. Ideally have a 4x4 with everything in the tray, or have to put everything in car at night. We were at site 22. Toilets are a bit of a walk from our site about 10 mins which is ok, others are further or closer (check the map). Otherwise a great experience once we figured this out. Will be back!
