First time here. We were there on a company sponsored lunch. We sat on the deck where we could enjoy the watching and hearing the mild waves hit the beach. It was perfect weather. Every part of the service was just right. The appetizers were great! I had grilled octopus. The lunch was very good, as well. I had Ahi Tuna, good flavor, I would have seared it a little less. Drinks and dessert were just right. I had coconut flan, delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant with a light music in the background. We enjoyed it very much.

It was a Amazing view to die for & good price. But that was it. It was raining in our room. It was no hot water. Poor instructions on how to get to lock box cause check in was late. It needs some work. The view is the on thing I paid for.

We got a room just overnight on our way back to San Juan. When we walked in, it smelt awfully musty, there was splatters of who knows what on the wall, it was brown/red in color. The refrigerator was RUSTED. The comforter was from 1980s and was stained. There were no towels in the room. We ended up checking out immediately and cutting the loss. Bad. Don’t stay here. The view is beautiful, can’t believe they wouldn’t take the opportunity to turn this place into something nice. The restaurant had good views but way overpriced for what you order. Me and fiancé ordered two different entrees, one was suppose to be a garlic mushroom sweet plantain sauce, my fiancé ordered one with a creamy cilantro Sauce. We literally both got ALFREDO SAUCE. The same exact sauce with totally different descriptors. We talked to the manager and he pretty much said “oh well, that’s what it is”. Will never pick this place again.

First time visiting PR and this was the first restaurant we stopped at-- overall AMAZING experience! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, spoke fluent English (I'm the only one in my family who speaks Spanish), and the service was fast and efficient! The entire menu looked good making it hard to decide; all 8 of us chose different meals and were extremely pleased! It may not look too appealing from the road, however it is a definite go-to! Decently priced for some A+ food and service! We will definitely visit again.

Google
We ended up randomly eating here, however, we don't regret it! The waiter was ridiculously friendly and the view was absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend the 1/2 lobster tail with the mamposteao. You won't be disappointed!

We visit the restaurant with some friends from college (class reunion). When we ordered the food, we specifically ask that they can start serving as soon as plates were ready. Since it was a large group, we wanted to avoid that some plates came out cold. In addition, my 12 years old daughter was hungry. We waited about 2 hours before they started serving, and as I was anticipating, my food was cold. The place was nice and clean. The food taste good, but the waiting time was too much. Some of my friends gave them a 9, some gave them a 6. My plate was around 7 in taste, but it was cold. The drinks were average. I tried a mojito, and the quality was low when compare with the other half dozen mojitos I drank this weekend in different places in the area. Since it was a big group, the tip was automatically included in the ticket. While most places charge 15%, they included a 18% tip.

Google
This place was AMAZING! The staff was awesome. We made last minute reservations for a party of 16. The staff was so friendly and patient with our large party. Drinks and food came out super quick and everything was delicious . My family will definitely be visiting again ..hopefully soon!

Google
We ordered 2 Deck Burguers, the menu states they also include bacon and mushrooms. When they served the order the burguers had no Bacon and no mushrooms, when we confronted the owner about this he said they dont have those ingredients at the moment and if we didnt like it we could order something else, still charged us full price on the burguers. Avoid this place. Plenty of better options around this beach.

Yelp
Can't beat an ocean view and a meal, food was super tasty couldn't believe how fresh the tropical ceviche was, Calamari was delicious as well and decent amount. The grouper with cream cilantro was so good. Servers were friendly always made sure to see if we needed anything more.

Yelp
The place is amazing. The view is spectacular and the good is delicious. Top three best places in Jobos Beach.

Yelp
We stopped by for the view and wanted to try a new place. Of course the view is amazing. We had the mussels they were delicious but the star was the grilled Octopus. I am not a fan of octopus because of the chewy texture. This was the BEST I have tried, as my husband enjoys Octopus. This had a crispy texture but still maintained a tenderness on the inside. If, I can get Octopus like this all the time, this would be my dish. The service was great, very attentive and friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful view and delicious food. I had the churrasco with grilled octopus as the appetizer. Steak was cooked beautifully and the tamarind chimichurri paired excellently. The grilled octopus was served with a kind of cilantro pesto that would be good on just about any protein I imagine! Looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
I'm so glad we came here! The food was the best we had on our trip to Puerto Rico. I'm still dreaming about the steamed mussels in garlic wine sauce, and the garlic butter shrimp mofongo and mampostaeo rice were so delicious as well. They are open Wed-Sun only, so keep that in mind. A must eat if you visit Isabela!

Yelp
It was ok. After looking at Yelp I planned On ordering Ceviche...they ran out Service was good. Food was okay. Ordered the special whole fish. Not much flavor and was a bit too dry. Needs a sauce or something to enhance the fish. Nice presentation. The apps were good: Calamari & Gnocchi.

Yelp
Such a great find for me and my family. We went to Isabela looking for a good seafood restaurants and found that all the near by places were overcrowded. We found Ocean Front and we're so glad that we did! Food was out of this world. Shrimp mofongo was to die for as well as the fish tacos and wrap that we got. Highly recommend and there was plenty of space, both inside and outside that had a spectacular view of the water without being overly crowded with people

Yelp
This is a great restaurant with the best ocean views and service. We ordered lobster, cod fritters, octopus, Puerto Rican fried cheese--all fresh, flavorful and yummy. Enjoy!

Larissa S.

Yelp
Holy cow! What an amazing place. We were driving on our way to Aguadilla and decided to go through Isabela and Jobos beach to explore. We ended up here for lunch and it was amazing. Manny our server was so attentive and took great care of us! The food was delicious. My mom got the salmon with passion fruit sauce and I got the codfish tacos, y'all it was amazing. The arroz con habichuelas were so delicious and full of flavor. We got calamari was an appetizer and it was perfect. Crunchy and tender (I hate when it's rubbery). All covid precautions were taken and we sat outside, the tables were well spaced out and our temp was taken at the door. If you are in the area, check this place out! It's delicious.

Yelp
Tatiana and Mani provided excellent service. Seafood was delicious. If you like an ocean view while you dine, Ocean Front is the place to eat!

Yelp
This is a really nice place but service is slow and the food was ok. We were the only 3 people in the restaurant and it still took 45 minutes to get our lunch. The mofongo was very watery... no substance or flavor to it.
google avatar

Yelp
Sadly this is one of those restaurants that started out great yet has greatly decreased in service and quality throughout the years. I used to visit this place when I was little with my family and I had nothing but great memories of delicious food and friendly people. Novio and I were on vacation in Isabela and were dying for some Chillo Frito (fried fish) we had called the restaurant to make sure they had some and when we arrived we were told they were out. The next day we returned in hoped of getting the days catch. It is a very quaint beachfront location filled with a large array of people from tourists to locals. It took 23 minutes for a waiter to ask us whether we wanted water and it took 10 more minutes for them to bring it. Novio and I left immediately and went to Kai instead. It is mostly empty now, which is sad. On the bright side, great parking.

Yelp
Mani and the whole staff was very attentive, the sushi was fresh, and rest of the meals where excellent. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place for a great meal.

Julian S.

Yelp
Puerto Rico is a beautiful island with wonderfully beautiful and friendly people. However, Puerto Ricans are not known for their customer service so don't judge any establishment by service. I really never expected 4 or 5 star service on the island outside of the tourist spots. Tips are not a priority on the island and the standard 15% is considered extremely high. Now the only reason we stopped at Ocean Front was because a local took us there. The place was abit shabby, with it being halfway between renovations and falling down. I walked on the deck with an opened mind, hearty appetite, and need for a cold beer. The view from the deck was amazing a breathtaking view of the ocean and the nearby beach. The food presentations were amazing and the tastes were right along with them.

Yelp
I went with my boyfriend and we ordered fried cheese (queso frito del país) with guava sauce. It was ok (is impossible to mess up fried cheese!). For the main dish we ordered Mahi Mahi al ajillo it was really GOOD! The combination of the amazing view and The Mahi Mahi, this place deserve 5 stars.

Yelp
Well this is the place to go if you want to enjoy the beach, good food and have a relaxing time just in front of the beach!! This place is just a big deck with a full bar and just beside it, a nice Hotel and Restaurant! I had the mofongo stuffed with skirt steak with a criolle sauce.......mmmmm! Wow , way to go for me!!! And of course live music on the weekends......nice!

Yelp
I'm torn with this review, so I'm gonna break it down: Pros: AWESOME deck and view of the ocean, good food and drinks. Cons: staff is a bit inattentive, food and drinks are flipping expensive. The food was overall good -- I got the skewers and the shrimp wasn't bad but the steak was cooked to perfection, as was the yellow rice. The service okay but the view was definitely gorgeous. I'd go back I think, but there are better choices close by with slightly lesser views

Yelp
The best view at Jobos Beach with great atmosphere. Had the mahi-mahi with majado de vianda (mashed). It has great flavor and it was quick. I've been here a couple of times before and will continue visiting.

Lynna C.

Yelp
About only the hotel: Pros - great view - for price with Groupon its ok - AC - Tv - Employees are very nice - nice and calm area Cons - free wifi only in lobby area, not bedrooms - the nice pictures of the website are scam, the rooms 14 and 15 are way different than the pictures, terrible - they left us one afternoon without water - wish you could see the building on the beach side... Looks like an abandoned wood house - humid bedroom - beds are hard as wood - very humid bedroom About the area - beach not save for children, but still really pretty

Yelp
Came to Ocean Front after finding out my flight out on Spirit was delayed 11hrs. It was pouring rain and the crew at Ocean Front not only cooked up an amazing meal, they were so kind and accommodating! The churrasco steak with the root mash was delicious. Kudos to the staff for your hospitality. We will be back for sure!

Yelp
It has been a fabulous family day, while driving throughout playa jobos we found this restaurant and we had to try it. It is the first place since I got here on Thursday that everything was just perfect! The weather, the beautiful ocean views, the ambiance, the people I mean everything was just perfect. Staff was super friendly and on top of their game, very impressive. Beverages on time as well as the entire meal, appetizers were really goo, the ceviche was great, fresh and tasty, I ordered the red snapper and it was delicious!! The fried plantains were very good!! Paella was excellent and matched perfectly with the beans. The churrasco was juicy and tender just perfect! I definitely recommend this place and I will be back when visiting the island.

Yelp
Stayed at the hotel- not sure if this is the right review for that but the review is for the restaurant. Ordered a burger (adventurous I know ;]) and you could tell it was a frozen patty. Everything was pretty fresh but the burger took about 20 minutes to come out! Server was really cute so that made it better. The view was amazing of corse; you're on the coast of PR! Wouldn't order that burger again- Wendy's baconator is a 10 in my book and this burger was about a 4.

Yelp
What a disappointment the storm did to our favorite place. The food is still great and the view has changed but is still good. This time around our waitress would not leave us alone Iam mean she would walk away stand there then come right back to us smh!
google avatar

Margie V.

Yelp
I had the mofongo stuffed with seafood topped with a creole sauce and it was amazing! My husband had arroz mampostiao and by far the best I have tasted! Enrique the waiter was spectacular!! Very attentive and considering it was my birthday he and the rest of the staff made us feel very welcomed.

Angel G.

Yelp
Unpolite at the door, waited approx 15min just fo the menu and when i asked for it the guy was rude
google avatar

Yelp
What can I say... this is my 1st review and TRUST me it's worth me to leave a comment. Delicious can't begin to describe the food. The churrasco with tamarind chimmichuri sauce was amazing. The ceviche was the BEST i have ever eaten. Coconut and lime mixed is exceptional in this dish. Its s must try. The flan coco... outta this world. Too it off with the staff.. Enrique was so entertaining. Love him.

Lauren B.

Yelp
This place has only gotten better. Best food and service in vicinity. Very accommodating.
google avatar

Aliosha G.

Yelp
Did not have a good experience. Went with a group of friends after a long day at the beach. We waited half and hour to be seated and 2 whole hours for our meal. Keep in mind that the restaurant was not even half full throughout all of this time. Food and service were fairly good.
google avatar

Angie R.

Yelp
Therw are MUCH better local places....skip it! Service was terrible, including the servers response to our honest complaint to how bad the food was. We ordered a burger and it was a frozen patty, the second dish was the mofongo stuffed with skirt steak which ended up being a mofongo stuffed with 6 squared small pieces of steak and TONS of onions. So we had a very expensive fozen patty and bowl of onions with smashed plantains. Pretty pathetic! We had decided to go there for lunch because our previous dinner experience was average. Never again will we visit this place.

Eliani M.

Yelp
Don't Recommend this restaurant the staff were being disrespectful, the alcohol beverages are watered down also my fish taco had hairs in it. I think it's too over priced I had to remove my tip. Do not waste your money on this establishment.
google avatar

Martin C.

Yelp
Good to get something to eat while in the area. Had red snapper was good. Mofongo a didn't like. Momposteo had an aftertaste didn't appreciate. Service was good.
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
The food and the service was spectacular. Ordered the skirt steak, it was the most exquisitely tender skirt steak I've ever eaten. We finished off the meal with a slice of cheesecake, which was light, delectable, and beautifully presented. Wonderful service and scrumptious food at every single course. Would reccommend to anyone in the area!
google avatar

Gesina P.

Yelp
The view is beautiful and worth more starts but everything else was blah. Everything we tasted was super sugary. I started with ceviche and my brother had a shrimp dish and both tasted like they were cooked in sugar. No acid, no salt, just sweet. Neither of us finished the dishes and lost our appetites. The drinks were nothing special and like most beach bars served in plastic cups. One bartender was nice but the other had an attitude. It was like i was bothering him when I tried to pay and kept ignoring that I had my card out. I have to really dislike a place and service to leave a 15% tip.

Carola M.

Yelp
Great restaurant, awesome food, music, service and environment. Recommend to everyone that is around the Jobo's area. :)
google avatar

Chris R.

Yelp
We had a good lunch experience. It was our first taste of authentic Puerto Rican food. The mofongo was fantastic and very filling. I would recommend the chicken wrapped with bacon with the yellow rice and beans. It's the best choice on the menu.
google avatar

Emily I.

Yelp
The Service was excellent . We ordered appetizer corn sticks and fried cheese with guava sauce. For dinner we had churrasco with chimmi with tamarindo salsa one with fried yuca and the other with fried plantain , another plate was mahi mahi with fried yuca and the last plate was baby back ribs 1/2 rack with French fries all plates were delicious! For dessert was flan of coco and pumpkin donuts with vanilla ice cream! Honestly enjoyed every bit and service was excellent !
google avatar

Lisa L.

Yelp
Super amazing view of the ocean!! Our waiter recommended a drink, can't remember the name but it has passion fruit coconut and pineapple with rum. It was so great, I had to have a second one! The shrimp mofongo was also quite tasty. Would definitely go back!
google avatar

Charlie T.

Yelp
Oh wow...nice view....excellent service...food? Awesome! price? on a service for five adults, more than good. I recommended to anyone looking for a nice, friendly place for lunch, dinner or just drinks. See you next time...
google avatar

GulfCoast H.

Yelp
Excellent service and great food. Henrique was accomodating and couldnt be any more helpful. His local expertise of the area combined with gracious hospitality made us go back again.
google avatar

EmaLes F.

Yelp
The food was good but the service was horrible. I really don't know if it was because it was a busy day, but we had to wait for four hours for our food to arrive. They didn't even bother to ask if we needed anything. We had to go take the water for ourselves because we didn't even have anything to drink while eating. On the bright side, the restaurant have a really nice view of the beach, and if it is not that busy you can choose to eat outside or inside.
google avatar

Rane R.

Yelp
I'm only giving this restaurant a 3 star because of the view and the ceviche wasn't bad. Very unfortunate to pay top dollar for local cuisine and it not be top notch. We had the fried red snapper and seafood mofongo both $25 plates and both over cooked. These should've been perfect.
google avatar

Melie M.

Yelp
Meh...Definitely nothing to write home about. The food isn't bad or offensive, just okay. I had a very unmemorable fish dish with rice and beans. The sides were pretty good, but again nothing to excite the palate. My husband had a very decorative fried fish..he left hungry. We went back to the condo and threw a frozen pizza in the oven. I really wanted to like this place..but everything was just so average. The ambiance doesn't really draw you in as much as you'd like either. Yeah, it's on the beach, but at night you can't really see anything. It's not the romantic restaurant I envisioned. It's also extremely casual...even for dinner. I don't think we'll be revisiting the Ocean Front Restaurant.
google avatar

Kevin R.

Yelp
This is an awesome place to go and relax if you have a little time to wait for your food. Everytime I have been the food takes a little longer than anywhere else I would go. The food is decent, I tend to stick to wraps and burgers due to the menu being a little pricey. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has a fully stocked bar that overlooks Jobos Beach. Not only a good place to grab a bite to eat, but it also tends to have a good crowd at the bar on weekends. Occasionally they have live music which makes it a cool spot to hang out.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Want a great bar with yummy appetizers and the best ocean view? This is your place!!!! It is right on the water. It has a happening local bar atmosphere even on a Thursday night in the off season. We had yummy fried cheese and coconut shrimp. We topped it off with delicious Pina coladas and cheesecake desert. What a wonderful evening
google avatar

Mili S.

Yelp
Great environment, beach front view. I had the shrimps wrapped with bacon and it was delicious! My husband had a churrasco with tamarind sauce and it was good but not to die for. The appetizers were the surullitos and they were great. Great service and very kind servers. Ended the night with a coconut flan and it was good. I will come back!

E. S.

Yelp
I went twice to this consolidated location and had two different experiences. The first time we noticed that the outdoor bar seemed separate from the restaurant so we headed inside to eat in a fairly sterilized environment.... and found that we could not order any bar drinks. Then we saw our waitress carrying a tray of food out to the bar. It turns out that the bar serves from the same menu as the restaurant, so on our next visit we had a much more enjoyable evening outside. Service is slow, prices are on the higher end, quality is average, and the view is great.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
The location is great and the staff were friendly and accomodating but food was seriously mediocre and a disappointment. The only item we all enjoyed were the bacalao croquettes and the beer. But otherwise none of the entrees were that good. I had the arroz con camorrones. The rice was undercooked and the camorrones tasted chewy. I fed most of it to the cat that was sitting under the table:) I was also traveling with 4 Puerto Rican and italian women who really know how to cook!!! But you may want to consider finding a new chef!!!

Anwyn P.

Yelp
Went for dinner yesterday and was disappointed. They had run out of the Mahi Mahi so I agreed to their substitute fish. It was VERY dry. It was wrapped in plantains that were good and the only thing that made it edible. The mofonago was also dry. We were there too late at night to enjoy any sort of view- so if you don't have that, it's a hard pass.
