Fantastic views. Ocean breezes. Great waitress. Had the fondue which was yummy (But my wife said was a little bitter). I had 2 flights. Loved the BOB. Loved the Maya West. Loved the Ruby! LOVED the swag shop!

The place is very cool with a really great upstairs outdoor bar. Both beers I tried were excellent, and the sandwich I tried was pretty darn good as well. The bartenders were all welcoming and friendly. Definitely a place I would come back to if I'm in the area again.

Kind of a confusing experience. We stopped in on a whim while visiting Piñones. Parking costs $5 and the brewery is inside of some sort of fancy vacation club or something. The parking lot on the brewery side smelled strongly of rotting grain and it was really unpleasant. There aren't any signs indicating where to go to try the beer from the brewery. We went in the door marked with the brewery logo, but discovered that's just a shop where they sell beer and branded merchandise. Then we wandered into the pool area, which I don't think we were allowed to enter... when we approached the pool bar, the bartender told us that the area was for guests with wrist bands only and outside guests had to go "upstairs". Finally we found the upstairs restaurant where their beer is served. It has a gorgeous view of the ocean! My husband ordered the hop diver and he liked it. I had a virgin mojito and it was also good. We didn't try the food, the menu was mostly not Puerto Rican food so we decided to eat at Piñones instead. We could kind of still smell the rotting grain from the restaurant - it wasn't overwhelming, but the stench definitely floated in and out on the wind. The vacation club itself looked nice, I would've loved some information about it but their website is down. Overall it was a strange experience and I'm not sure I would recommend it.

Awesome spot! Such a cool vibe with the beach club and the brewery. Great beer and food. Overall a really unique place. We went on a quiet night but im sure it’s better during busy times.

Great place to grab a bite, enjoy local brews, and a beautiful view. We had a few flights and a sampler, and enjoyed everything! There is ample parking.

The food was great, beer was great and the server was friendly. The service as a whole the night we visited (a random Monday night) was not so great. It took 1hr and 23min from ordering to receiving the first dish of our order. Took another 22min after that to receive all dishes. Total service failure. We order an appetizer that never arrived. Was never asked for refills. Had to find a waiter to refill water cups. We were giving a free plate of fries for our inconvenience which felt a little like a joke. I appreciated the gesture but it did not change or make up for the failures. Again the food was great when it finally did arrive, but not worth the wait on the kitchen at all. I would not come back here after that experience.

I recently visited Ocean Lab Brewing in Carolina, Puerto Rico, and it was an exceptional day trip. The local brewery offers a beautiful outdoor seating area that’s perfect for enjoying the sunny weather. Inside, the restaurant/taproom provides a variety of small bites and meals, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy some food. The cheese croquettes were amazing, a definite highlight of the menu. With a wide selection of local brews to try, the beer flight was a fantastic deal, and we enjoyed every single one. After sampling the beers, stop in the shop on your way out. It’s perfect for grabbing a six-pack to take home. Overall, Ocean Lab Brewing is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy good food, great beer, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!
