The room we stayed in was the form and the AC works downstairs but not upstairs so it gets really hot. You can’t sit in the room during the day as it’s ridiculously hot but is bearable at night with a fan. The hostel is lovely though and I love that they had labelled vegan options at the restaurant. The pink bowl with granola and fruit was lovely for breakfast and they had soy milk for coffee. It can also get loud at night but it’s not bad. The pool was gorgeous and the place was lovely. The staff are so friendly and helpful :)

We were staying for a couple nights and did our AIDA 2 course. Everything worked pefectly fine and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Sophie was our instructor and did an awesome job how she explaind everything and helped all of us individually to reach our goals.

Disappointed to find out after buying coconuts and using the pool, that they charge 50k to swim and staff were rude. There is a very small sign under the reception desk that is not at all obvious when you walk in, in fact you don't see it until you go to pay. Have been living in Indo for 2 years and most places are happy for you to use the pool if you buy some drinks! If you're going to charge, put the sign in a place that people can see its obvious. Also place was empty. It's a shame because it's a nice place to hang out but in future will go elsewhere as there's so many good spots in Amed!

Ocean Prana is a top notch freediving facility and operator. In my opinion, the best in Bali. I’ve been training at OP for more than 2 years, have done hundreds of dives with their instructors, and I wouldn’t consider training anywhere else. A five star experience every time.

Place should be packed but it’s not clearly due to horrible management. After 2 years in Bali, as long as you’re eating/drinking nowhere tries to charge you for pool access, or at least make it super upfront. Ended up paying 50k for a 60second swim when the pool and cafe were completely empty - the sign that says you have to pay for pool access is about 30cm big tucked under the register. For 50k you can book the whole pool at blue earth for an hour to yourself. For a minimum spend location, places like Sunset Point at least have the most incredible infinity pool overlooking Jemeluk bay. Go to places like Salt Resort or Amed Espresso if you want to sit by the pool and have a drink and eat as the staff and management are at least friendly. EDIT TO OWNER: I have never ever, not once trained freediving in your pool. This was literally the first time I had ever gone to use it

A great freediving facility with beautiful accommodation. The location in Jemeluk Bay is a perfect place to explore the reef out in front. The staff are friendly and helpful with everything. Highly recommended!

A lovely nature inspired lil resort with small lumbungs for accomodation. I liked that their restaurant is big and airy with booth seats for you to work in during the day and if it gets too hot, there is a 25m pool to cool off. I stayed in the dorm which was pleasant and got a bed on the 2nd level which made it feel like a private room. The room can get abiT noisy from the bar next door but they provided earplugs if it bothers you. I liked that the space was clean and all the equipment was well ordered and clean. Food is pretty good and it’s a nice space to chill on a rainy day if you have nothing else on. The black sand pebble beach is just across the resort (behind the bars/restaurant) and you can just walk for early morning snorkel where you can see the underwater temple, statues and amazing array of fishes just steps from the beach. Location wise, there are several good sunset restaurants within walking distance (uphill tho) and the most famous sunset bar, Sunset Point Amed is just a 10-15min uphill walk away. Snorkeling tip: The location of the famous underwater temple is right in front of the Photo Dive shop along the beach. 😊

I took AIDA3 course at Ocean Prana Freediving and had an amazing experience! I had a lecture from Yoram, the former vice world champion of freediving! He added up his own techniques on AIDA3 course and I also could hear his episodes and it was so precious to learn those tips from one of top freedivers! And my instructor, Sophie was a super kind bwautiful woman. She encouraged me throught the whle course and gave me great advices! I'm so happy that I could learn and complete the AIDA3 course here with them!
