We had an amazing 4-night stay at this hostel. We opted for the family room with four beds, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. The king-size bed has a mosquito net, which was a real lifesaver, but don’t worry, the mosquitoes weren’t too aggressive. The room was spotless and spacious enough to fit all our luggage comfortably. There’s even a little patio where we could dry our swimming suits. And guess what? Our house was hidden behind tries, which gave us a sense of privacy that we really appreciated.
My wife took a yoga course at the hostel, and she absolutely loved it! One must register every day before 3 pm, and the class starts at 5 pm.
For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we indulged in the delicious food at the hostel’s restaurant. The fresh juices were to die for, and we also tried the energy bowl (made with oak, banana, and milk) in the morning. For dinner, we had mie goreng and spaghetti tomato sauce. Everything was absolutely fantastic!
To get around, we rented a scooter for 70k IDR per day. It was super convenient to drive to the Amed centre, where we found a bunch of restaurants, shops, and ATMs.
There’s a small grocery store right next door, which is perfect for grabbing some essentials. And in the restaurant, guests can get unlimited free water.
One of the highlights of our trip was snorkelling at Jemeluk. It’s a renowned snorkelling site in Amed with a breathtaking array of marine life. We saw horses, octopuses, and so much more! It was an incredible experience.
