6 unique dining experiences to try around the world - SilverKris

"Dine “underwater” with manta rays and hammerhead sharks gliding by while professional divers perform choreographed underwater shows and multi-sensory theatrical elements enhance the meal. The experience features a 100% sustainably sourced seafood menu and was adapted for safe-distancing with eight separate dining pods (up to five people each) plus a handful of couple tables. Sessions were available via the venue’s website through to 31 October 2020, with September bookings reportedly full." - Vanessa Tai

Best dining experience I’ve had in a long while! Jecki who was attending to us was very welcoming and took great care of us. We had the 6-course lunch and the pacing was perfect. It didn’t take too long for each course to be served and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Service was attentive and the food was amazing. Loved the special surprise touch of the Halloween themed petit fours. We got a table next to the tank and it was peaceful looking at the fish while enjoying the quiet ambiance. The entrance to the restaurant from the Oceanarium was obscure so we made the mistake of exiting the place to get to the restaurant but they were kind enough to usher us back to enjoy the rest of the Oceanarium after our meal.

I had an amazing birthday celebration here and food was amazing. We knew this was an experiential dinner to have given the nice view, but was surprise to find ourselves loving almost every course! We had the 6 course dinner, and absolutely love both the pork and beef main. The service was attentive, sweet and they even gave us seconds for what we deemed really good bread (better than bread street!). The chef also came to wish me a happy birthday and the complimentary dessert to take home - that box of chocolates was a nice touch. All in all, this was the best birthday meal I had in years. Would return to celebrate my family's special occasion here!

The atmosphere is fantastic with the clear blue tank surrounding the restaurant. We’re very enjoyed the view and experience. The 6-course menu was also greater than I expected. All the dishes were nicely served with creative ingredients.

[October 2025] Contacted the restaurant in advance to make a reservation and discuss the menu for a special occasion. They were friendly and accomodating. The ambiance was superb, the highlight of course being the huge glass wall looking into the gigantic aquarium. Although you can't see way out into the aquarium, the fishes and rays were constantly coming in close. Tables were spread out well, and all tables had good views of the huge aquarium - tables right next to the glass would give you a close up view, and tables further away would give a wider perspective. The food was very well prepared. We enjoyed all the dishes from the bread basket, amuse bouche, and right through the 6 courses. Some dishes to particularly mention: The Aged Parmesan Cheese Souffle was the first time we had parmesan this way - nicely baked on the outside and creamy on the inside. The Angel Hair Pasta went very well with its yuzu sauce, which imparted that bit of sweet, slight-tarty flavour. The Brittany Monkfish had good taste as well as texture. The A4 Tochigi Wagyu Beef topped with caviar was the highlight. Prepared medium, it had good umami and was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with the caviar bursting to hint of the sea. As it was F1 season, after dessert, there was a bonus F1-inspired chocolate mousse! All in, we had a great time, and 3 hours just went by. We'll be back!

I’m really disappointed with the food quality here. The appetizers were so salty that they literally made my kidneys ache. The only dishes that met expectations were the fish itself (though the sauce fell flat) and the dessert. The service wasn’t up to par either. After being seated, I waited about 10 minutes before anyone came over to greet me or hand me a menu. I was especially excited to try the bread basket—I’m a total bread lover, and that’s always a highlight for me—but the waitress whisked it away without asking, even though I wasn’t done. Three or four different servers attended to me, but only one was actually friendly and attentive. Other drawbacks include the hard-to-find location and the shared bathroom with nearby restaurants. Overall, if you’re seeking a solid fine-dining experience, there are far better options out there. The food just didn’t live up to what you’d expect from a high-end spot, especially with a lunch menu crafted by a two-Michelin-star chef.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Ocean Restaurant. The food was exceptional, every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. What truly made the experience memorable was the amazing service from Ron. He was attentive, professional, and made us feel so well taken care of throughout the meal. His warmth and excellent service really elevated our experience. Highly recommend this place for both the incredible food and the outstanding service!

Firstly A few words about directions: If you’re driving, be sure to read the access instructions carefully. The restaurant’s entrance is discreetly tucked away within the Resorts World Sentosa Car Park, which can be a bit tricky to locate if you’re unfamiliar with the area. For those using a ride-hailing service, it’s wise to bring a printed copy of the directions from your confirmation email, I assume many drivers, including ours, weren’t aware of this hidden gem. As an added perk, the restaurant provides complimentary access to Sentosa Gateway, saving non-residents the usual entry fee. Secondly once inside, everything unfolded seamlessly. From the moment we arrived, the evening blossomed into a truly delightful experience, The entire team was remarkably attentive and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout goes to Rona, who orchestrated the evening with effortless grace and precision. From the impeccable timing of each dish to the harmonious pairing of drinks, she ensured that every detail was flawlessly executed. We chose the dinner menu with wine pairing, and it turned out to be an extraordinary culinary journey. Each course showcased a distinct theme, artfully matched with complementary flavors and textures. The experience began with a delicate Japanese sake accompanying the first course, setting a refined and elegant tone. From there, a well-paced progression of dishes was paired with carefully selected whites, reds, and a luscious dessert wine. Each pairing elevated the flavors, adding depth and nuance that transformed the meal into a beautifully curated tasting adventure. This captivating experience unfolded over approximately 3.5 hours, and it was worth every minute, an indulgent celebration of taste, timing, and thoughtful presentation.

The food, service, and atmosphere was 5 stars. We were treated extremely well by the exceptional wait staff, they were so helpful, kind and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, we couldn’t fault any of it, the fish in the aquarium were such a fantastic addition. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed by getting to the front of the aquarium and told we had to walk over a kilometre through a hot car park to access the entrance of the restaurant. My mother is 70 and was already struggling with the heat on Sentosa, I booked this extremely expensive treat for her 70th Birthday and for the price of $500 Australian dollars for the cheapest 4 course option they should at least have a lift inside the aquarium to access the restaurant. Would not go back just for the reason of not being able to access the restaurant without a vehicle. We were also told if we were an hour late we would lose $100.
