Oceanic Bar + Grill

Met my mum down in Mandurah for lunch. It was a lovely spot to sit, especially because it was quite a hot day. They had fans going inside. the alfresco style dining is very cute and makes great use of the marina. We were pleasantly surprised by the food in particular the flatbread with hummus the pork ribs and the Mac and cheese balls were quite nice The cocktails are insane and perfect for summer @pertheatswithem on Insta

We booked a table for a birthday meal and were really looking forward to the seafood platter. The food arrived quickly and looked appealing. The fish, chips, squid, and garlic prawns were tasty; however, the crab and whole prawns were very overcooked, mushy, and unpleasant to eat. They seemed reheated rather than freshly cooked. More concerning was that around three-quarters of the mussels in the bowl had not opened. When this was raised with the wait staff, we were told there was nothing they could do, "it was our of their control" and that they had been experiencing ongoing issues with the mussels. There was no offer of a replacement or consideration of food safety from likely off mussels, which was particularly disappointing given this was apparently a known issue. Overall, the experience fell well short of expectations, especially for a birthday meal. Unfortunately, I would not recommend dining here.

Atmosphere is always amazing and what brings us back every time. Service was great with staff checking how our dinner was. We ordered the seafood platter in advance and let staff know when we arrived. Food came out quickly and the serving was huge - great value for the price.

Delicious huge food. Its on the water & the scenery is amazing. We were there last month watching the storm come in. It was a fantastic display of lighting strikes. While we eat & drink our delicious food. The background music 🎶 was great too. Thank you.

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Deep and Amal at Oceanic Bar and Grill, and they made our experience unforgettable. Both were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after, offering great recommendations and serving everything with genuine warmth and a smile. It’s rare to come across bartenders who not only know their craft so well but also make you feel so welcome. Deep and Amal created such a positive and fun atmosphere for us, and it really elevated our experience. Oceanic Bar and Grill is lucky to have them on the team – we’ll definitely be back, and it’s thanks to the wonderful service from Deep and Amal. Highly recommend asking for them when you visit! 🍸✨

The simmering seafood dish was delicious 🤤 highly recommend. The staff were fantastic. Very attentive. The scenery was lovely too. We will be back. Thank you for a lovely lunch with great service.

Yay! what an awesome girls night out. We enjoyed an awesome girls night out. Cocktails were great and the food was beyond amazing! I can recommend the nacho's, the steak, the curry tasting plate and the parmigiana night on Wednesday is awesome!

Absolutely disappointing experience! Went to OBG Mandurah and it was a complete letdown. Ordered a steak that was so chewy it was inedible--felt like I was gnawing on leather. The cocktail menu looked promising, but what was served didn't match at all and tasted off, like something was spoiled. The sauces were no better--odd flavors that made everything worse. To top it off, they don't accept cash, which is just inconvenient. Definitely won't be returning or recommending. Total waste of money.

Have been here a few times. The bad review was not due to their lack of vegan options but rather how bad their service is. Your food takes forever to come out even after waiting ages in a queue to order. We only go here when with non-vegan eater BUT never again. Every time it's the same and everyone gets annoyed. They are only surviving due to location for tourists and the size of their meals - when it eventually arrives!

Had lunch for 2 there yesterday overlooking the Dolphin Quay marina in Mandurah. It is cavernous, plenty of room....but tables have been set up thoughtfully to cater for any sized groups. We had the pulled pork and fried whiting soft tacos. Superb...I would have liked to have some hot pepper sauce just to jazz mine up a bit. Lots of good seafood dishes plus the customary burgers and parmi dishes. Salads too. Beer selection is excellent. Lots of smiling happy diners. Good gastro pub.

Service was fine but not great and the food was disgusting. My ribs were burnt and ruff but still cold obviously microwaved. There was nothing to them and they also placed onto of chips and salad so the only taste to the whole mean was a rich overpowering bbq sauce.

Completely overwhelmed by a standard Friday night. Queues for both drinks and Meals were outrageous. My fiends received their burger within 20 mins and then nothing g for over an hour. We asked and were told it was on its way soon "bud" and nothing further. It took us making an absolute scene for any action to be taken. Completely poor and I am not one who normally complains about a poor experience- avoid this joint

Went here for family lunch, ordered 6 meals only served 5, only to be told after everyone else having consumed their meal that one meal (the fisherman's basket) was not in fact part of the order and it had been missed after enquiring with the manager his answer was we are sorry it was missed but you still have to pay for it. Maybe the staff need to be more vigilant in the custom service and repeat orders back to paying customers, this is a piss poor effort of customer service. This place has definitely lost my intention to ever want to return. NOT IMPRESSED!

I booked Christmas lunch here this year (2022) for the family of 14 people back in September. I received a confirmation booking number and felt happy that it was all okay. A few weeks ago I started calling every now and then to confirm booking , no one ever contacted me back . My dad happened to be there last night and mentioned to the bar staff "see you Sunday and the guy said "we are closed!" He rung me to tell me to email as I obviously wasn't getting anywhere with the calls . I emailed them and got a response today (20/12) " sorry for the inconvenience but we are closed , I'll investigate why the booking was able to be made!" . I am fuming , my booking has been there for months , no one contacted me to tell me it was closed . Now it's 5 days before Christmas and I get told " sorry for the inconvenience " . That's it . Cannot believe that this could happened. At least we didn't show up Christmas Day with the booking number to a closed establishment. That was all I've heard . Such bad customer service

Wow this place was slammed, jam packed, big queues but they still managed to get food out relatively quickly considering. I had the steak sandwich and it was tasty. Three of my friends shared the seafood platter for two and it was more than enough for the three of them. Also ordered on our table was the Moreton bay bug pizza, a Caesar salad and the salt and pepper squid. All meals were very generous. There were no complaints on food servings or quality at our table of 7. Drinks were moderately priced and from what my friends relayed the cocktails were quite strong. I had my usual VLLB. I would suggest booking tables, especially if you plan on going on a Saturday night.

Nice bar /pub style grill on dolphin quay. Love that the place is packed with outdoor heaters so its nice and toasty in there. We went on the Thursday when they have a $25 ribs special, the portions were huge no-one could finish it! Delicious crunchy chips and tasty bbq sauce. We also had the garlic pizza bread which we added cheese to it was so good! A great starter option for a group. Like that you can add Morton Bay bugs to the steak dish too, thats something different!

Absolutely the worst meal I've had recently, ordered the sizzling seafood platter even from the moment the plate was placed in front of me each piece of seafood was well over cooked and was extremely rubbery the bug tail had shrivelled up to the size of mini shrimp and was tasteless will definitely not be returning to waste my money

One of my favourite places to eat in Mandurah. The beautiful view overlooking the marina is well worth even a quick drink. Friendly staff and great atmosphere makes stopping for a meal easy! The high top tables and stools means they can easily accommodate larger groups. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken which was delicious! Would thoroughly recommend this little gem.

Do not visit this restaurant. When we arrived it wasn't busy. Went to bar ordered drinks and asked for a glass of water and was refused, bar staff rude. Told to go visit the water stations where you get plastic cups to fill with water. We were a table of 8, I ordered chicken caesar salad. Chicken luke warm cold in middle, was actually repulsive. Smoked salmon Caesar was just as bad. Tables and bar sticky and filthy. They do not know the meaning of entree. We had a bad experience here before and gave it a second go. This restaurant offers a hideous experience and I definitely will not be back this time.

Came for Happy Hour and ordered cocktails. I had to wait about ten minutes for them to be made, but I was happy to do this. When the cocktails came out I was excited because they were so beautifully presented. However, they were both so bad they were undrinkable. The pineapple caprioska was warm and the piña colada didn't have any pineapple in it. It was like watered down coconut milk.

Myself and my adult daughter went over to Dolphin Quays for a cocktail - after spending the majority of the day on the Mandurah Foreshore - and were quite taken with this place . Ample seating without being on top of people and a really good selection of seating options (you'll know what I mean when you visit ) a great place to catch up with friends/family for a drink or something to eat or to just take in the stunning views. We were that impressed that we are going back for dinner

Great family pub with sports bar and dining. The beer is cold and the menus is genuine and hearty. My favourite place to watch the footy and eat dinner in Mandurah. This place caters for both the winter cold and summer evenings exceptionally well.

Went here for Melbourne Cup 2016 yesterday and thought it was a great, relaxing and well orgnised day. We were greeted with a free glass of champagne on arrival and a couple of raffles. They had their normal menu plus specials and freshly shucked oysters for the day. My friend and I enjoyed the Moreton Bag Bug Salad and the Chicken Burger while the race played on multiple screens around the venue. It was a great day to celebrate the Cup without breaking the piggy bank. Would definitely come back here for a casual Sunday lunch by the water.
