Can not say one bad thing about this place… So helpful and accommodating, the room we stayed in(room 9 next to the pool) was very very nice. Worth every penny. The staff are helpful, the room is cleaned whenever you ask, they offer laundry services, they help with your bags and if it’s possible you can check in early if the room is ready. The pool area is clean and well attended to also. We’re definitely going to book again for next year when our baby arrives. Would 100% recommend this place! Dan and Maddi ❤️

Lovely hotel in a nice quiet area . Lots of steps so near this in mind when you are booking incase you can’t do lots of high steps . We are walkers and timed the walk to Palolem beach and it’s a good 20 min walk along a tight dangerous road . Cars bikes tuk tuks everything speeding along and no path . Ok if you walk no later than 9am but very uncomfortable after this time in the heat and not doable in the dark so add £5 a day in tuk tuks to go to and fro . |Beautiful room . 10 out of 10 . However for the price I would expect breakfast included . Food was outstanding. The father is the chef and he’s amazing . |He gave me a lovely gift when we left . |We actually booked this place as I’m a swimmer and wanted to do my swim lengths each day as we are here 2 months . Pool was freezing and mainly in the shade so I was very disappointed. |Nudge the reception too re top ups in room as cleaners don’t do much . |Would I go back ? No but only as the pool was really cold.

The property is very beautiful and the rooms are clean and cosy. The food is excellent, and service is always prompt. While Oceanic is not next to the beach, it's well-situated and commute is easy by walking if you don't mind it, or autos. We had a wonderful stay. Special thanks to the staff for being helpful and courteous.

A beautiful little hotel. Quiet, and centrally located between Patnem and Palolem. They were kind enough to include breakfast in our stay. The pool area was nice, but a few mozzies and could have done with a good clean - but nice to spend a few quiet hours reading a book.

The Oceanic is a lovely property which is situated about a 20 walk from Palolem beach. The road is treacherous if you are walking to or from the restaurants in town by the beach, so get reception to get a tultuk fro or from the main centre which costs 150 rupees each way. The room is spacious has everything and the bed is very comfy. We booked this for the pool so we could go there in the afternoon however it was cold if you like that, as it’s in the shade. If you need tea coffee replacement you may need to remind the staff but they will bring it. However reception was closed when I went there at 7.30 as I had no tea or milk. So look ahead. Over the property is really good, the bar and restaurant is under utilised but when the food does come to the table it is delicious. The father is a great cook who cooks from the heart and everything is great. Overall a great stay. There are steps there from the street but if you need help with bags they are there to help.

Very cute hotel with a nice walking distance from the hustle and bustle of the beach! It has a swimming pool and a restaurant/ bar. The hotel is beautiful designed and decorated! Staff is very friendly! The rooms are good, clean and neat. Also you have a seating area in front of it where you can relax. The restaurant has good food, but we also had dishes that were disappointing (pasta mostly). We only ate continental here. Unfortunately it takes ages (!!!) for the food to be ready which is really a bummer! Service should be faster! Something that I also did not appreciate was that all the seating pillows and sun beds were not being cleaned regularly and I found it uncomfortable to ask for it being cleaned every time I want to sit somewhere. Another ting was that they play music around the clock in the reception area so we heard the bass quite often in our room. Last but not least: the wifi did not work in the room. This is a no-go for the price we paid for the room. The price value for money is the reason I give this place only 3 stars. It is definetly not a luxurious hotel :(

Absolutely recommended Oceanic for South Goa accommodation. We recently stayed for a week to switch off during a larger trip of India and it offered the perfect balance of having enough to do and being able to relax with peace and quiet. Well situated you can easily walk to palolem or patnem (we hired a bike and there are tuktuks so heaps of transport options) there are bars, yoga studios and restaurants all within a 10min walk. The rooms are gorgeous, light, airy and comfortable for a couple with cases to be able to unpack properly. Staff were so friendly and helpful and made our stay memorable. Pool area lovely with sun and shade options and hotel restaurant was delicious. Would recommend as great value for money and perfect for couples.
