An absolutely terrible experience, and we didn't actually STAY. We strongly advise that you DO NOT PART WITH YOUR MONEY until you have checked out the tiny complex.||The room itself was nice, however, the built up walls around the reception /eating area, makes the area extremely hot and humid. (although, the thousands of mosquitos seemed to enjoy it) it really the smallest "hotel" we have ever had the misfortune of visiting. We were charged £800 English pounds (82000 rupees) for 10 nights but I was bitten so badly whilst waiting that we couldn't stay. I had to visit a doctor, my feet and legs swelled to the point I was barely able to walk. Therefore, literally just walking back down all the steps to leave, was excruciatingly painful. Not recommended for those who have trouble with feet, leg or trouble with walking. I am now taking strong antibiotics, painkillers and anti inflammatory medication. I have to rest with my feet up for the next 4 to 5 days out of out 14 night holiday. This has almost halved our enjoyment of our holiday. We could not stay in that environment. Therefore, we asked that we be refunded as we had not even used the toilet, unpacked anything, or even sat on the bed, It was that bad we had to ask for an ice pack to ease the swelling. Waited around 25 minutes for the one and only staff member behind the reception area to bring a small bag with a few lumps of ice as there was no staff at the bar area the whole time we were there.||Needless to say we asked that we be refunded, and she flatly refused.||There is so much more to this story, but cut short, she blamed the company director, and said there was nothing she could do. I understand that they have their terms and conditions about cancellation but there should also be exceptions for special circumstances. ||She also offered the explanation that they have so many people book, and when they arrive and look around, promptly change their mind, therefore, they are obviously losing customers. We can't speak for said customers, but our experience has taught us Never pay up front as you don't need to in Goa thankfully. We were unaware of this but speaking to other travellers and holiday makers, who come here regularly, never pay for long stays up front.||Although we are a small percentage of people that have had a bad experience, we feel that it is right that people know that if you have to leave for any special circumstances, there is a big chance you won't be able to get your money back without going to extreme difficulties involving official and governmental departments which is long winded and time consuming. Just be careful! But if you are really really lucky, and spend a vast amount of time chasing back your funds, you nay be lucky enough to get back 25 percent of your hard earned cash back.
