Oceanis Hotel

We had a lovely stay at the OCEANIS beach, catching some late summer sun before winter arrives. Location is great - right across from the beach and the hotel has its own sun beds in a private area on the beach. There are bus stops to and from Rhodes town right outside the hotel which run every 20 minutes or so for just under €2. If you prefer to walk, there’s a lovely and safe promenade walk all the way into Rhodes Town which takes about an hour to walk (it’s about 5k). Hotel itself was a pretty good standard, well cleaned and nice spacious rooms (although sparsely decorated) with powerful showers, very comfortable bed and great air conditioning so ticked all the main boxes. The only slight let down for us was the food which we felt was just a little repetitive, but to be fair, it’s what we’ve tended to experience in most 4* hotels like this in recent years, obviously catering to the popular demands. We arrived Saturday and left Saturday so missed the one Greek night, so we ended up eating out one evening just to get n experience of local cuisine. Food was however plentiful and always available when needed. Drinks were ok, plenty of choice on the all inclusive and self serve beer and wine all of a good standard. All the staff are to be commended for their pleasant approach, all smiling and ready to help and the restaurant manager in particular works so hard to ensure everyone is looked after. But the standout member of staff has to be Maradonna from the entertainment team. She works so hard to include everyone in the daily activities and is always looking to chat and ensure you’re having a good time.

Great hotel with fab amenities. Clean and welcoming on arrival. Friendly helpful staff on reception. Very easy check in with detailed information for your room and about the hotels restaurant and other services. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool but like every holiday you need to get out early (8am) to get a good spot. Entertainment has been good every night and kids are catered for but I think personally 9pm for the kids entertainment to start is a bit late. Overall it's been a relaxing, enjoyable break away.

Myself and my daughters stayed here for 5 days. Having 2 rooms between us. Views were amazing. Rooms perfect for us. Clean and comfy beds. |The food was good. Plentiful and the restaurant staff were fab. Even towards what is the end of the season for them, they were all happy to help, make us feel welcomed with a smile. |Shout out to George the security man. We came back from a night out in faliraki, desperate for a take away. He ordered for us and stayed chatting with us till our food turned up. Such a lovely man. |All in all rhodes is beautiful and we will definitely recommend this hotel. ||Thank you to all at Oceanis ❤️

Nothing bad to say, rooms and outside areas and activities wonderful. Luxurious to have own beach. The food was beyond amazing and it wasn’t the same every night. The “snack bar” was fresh salads and fried stuff and pizza… really a buffet not just some “snack bar”. Our friends had a wedding day during our visit and I asked a little something as a surprise for them. The restaurant manager had made us private table outside with cold and bubbly wine and also they served us that night even though it normally was self serviced. Very amazing.|I would like to thank the staff about their kindness and helpfulness. Every dinner they had amazing atmosphere together and it was nice to watch and feel. Cherish that.|Yeah, the elevator was kinda slow, but the amounts we ate we really needed the steps.|I hope you all have a nice autumn and beginning of Christmas time, I am sorry my review took so long.|Otherones in our group feel the same way, but they are even slower with these things than I am.|Us five had the time of our lives in this hotel!

Staff were lovely, extremely helpful. Hotel was kept really clean the whole time. Room spotlessly cleaned. Nice pool areas and lovely that there is a beach literally walking distance opposite. Also maradona the entertainer is amazing!!

I have stayed at this hotel 3 the last time being 5th November. The hotel is clean, modern and the rooms are of a good size and the beds are comfy. The hotel is in the perfect location, right infront of the beach with a mountain behind the hotel so whether you get the mountain view or the sea view, you will be impressed as the views from both are stunning! The all inclusive restaurant changes food theme each day (BBQ, Mexican etc) and they have a large selection of foods to choose from during each meal. The food itself is cooked perfectly (especially the meat) and there is something for everyone unless you have the palate of a toddler like some of these reviews seem to have 👀 The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly and attentive. During the day there is also a poolside bar that serves hot and cold food as well as ice cream, tea, coffee, alcohol and soft drinks. The hotel is not far from Rhodes town and the cost in a taxi is around €15, there are also rentable e scooters just outside the hotel to the left that myself and my husband rented and made our way to Rhodes town whilst having fun on the scooters. Check out time is 11am but you can sometimes extend this for a small fee where possible, the hotel have shower facilities and luggage storage for guests that have checked out, you are also permitted to use the restaurants and pools on the day of check out. I have just booked my holidays for next year and I have yet again booked another short stay at Oceanis for October 2025, the hotel is amazing and the staff are very friendly and welcoming! I’m well traveled and appreciate value for money, I’d definitely recommend this place! Do not be put off by a few negative reviews, it’s funny how you can always sense the entitlement when reading poor reviews 👀 Thank you Oceanis for another fantastic holiday!!

Lovely hotel excellent food and staff Martha in reception was very helpful and always smiling. In the restaurant the head waiter was always ready to find a table by the window if wanted, and a special mention to Georgina who was brilliant. A holiday that couldn't be faulted.

If you have kids, there is not a lot here for them to do at the hotel, other than the pool and a ping pong table. It's a nice hotel but for a 4 star hotel, the rooms are ok and the all inclusive food is tasteless and cold. Also, forget fancy cocktails. As a family of four we went to Kalithea Horizon Hotel last year which was more of a resort and kept us all entertained. We have found ourselves bored and going to bed early in the evenings.
