We have just come back after spending a week at this hotel.|We arrived late at night, the staff were welcoming. First impressions were positive with a lovely clean lobby. |The restaurant was closed and there were sandwiches left in the fridge of the room. However no bottled water. There were 2 empty glass bottles that you have to go and fill up with water from the water stations. However, the bottles didn't look particularly inviting. I am aware the hotel is is trying to reduce plastic, but I feel a couple of bottles of water in the fridge for late arrivals would be welcomed.| The hotel was very clean, although the carpet on the main staircase could do with renewing as it was quite threadbare.|We had a sea view room on the 4th floor which was spacious and had a lovely view. There was only one sheet and one pillow on the bed and I found it quite cold the first night. Normally you have spare blanket and pillows in the wardrobe, but not in this hotel.| The air conditioning only works when the doors to the balcony are closed and we found that during the day following cleaning of the room the balcony door was being left slightly open so that the air conditioning did not kick in. Although on the 4th floor I didn't like the fact that the door was left open when our belongings were inside. The room was cleaned daily but the towels were not changed even though we left them out to be changed, they were just picked up folded and put back. I would expect a 4 star hotel to change the towels daily or every other day. The towels did look quite grubby. The sheets were not changed during our stay either. During certain times of the day in the room you could smell the drains which wasn't very pleasant and you could also smell them when using the shower. Although the shower was clean the shower heads could have done with descaling.|Food was what you would expect for all inclusive dining in the restaurants, I am a fussy eater but could always find something to eat, however, I ate mainly from the poolside bar during the day which I enjoyed. |The pool was nice but very cold and the pool area was kept clean. You could get pool towels with a refundable deposit but you could only change them once during your stay. In other places I have stayed you can change them daily. The area around the pool for sun beds is quite small and very busy so you felt on top of one another especially on the grass area. This area was right next to a very busy road so was noisy from the constant traffic and the fumes did cause me a problem as I am asthmatic. Further across the pool area was better but you needed to get your sun beds very early as these were taken first. The sun beds could do with updating as they were uncomfortable and the umbrella did not keep the sun out. They were aesthetically pleasing but not very practical.|There were sun beds on the beach which was straight across the road. It is a shingle and pebble beach so sea /pool shoes required to get to the sea which was lovely and warm but quite choppy. People struggled to get in and out.|There were activities by the pool throughout the day and the staff were great especially Babou and Ida. There was also evening entertainment. We did go to the sports bar not far from the hotel a couple of nights which we really enjoyed.|There is a bus stop outside the hotel and we used this to go to Rhodes town which took about 10 minutes. This was well worth a visit with shops, bars and restaurants.|We were all inclusive, but after 11pm you had to pay for your drinks so in my view that does not make it all inclusive.|Overall, we had a pleasant stay but I ŵould say this hotel is a 3to 3.5 star. If the above mentioned comments were looked at and improved then this could be a 4 star hotel.
