⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Antarctica Discovery & Learning Voyage – MS Hondius The Antarctica Discovery & Learning voyage aboard the MS Hondius in November was outstanding. The crew and expedition guides demonstrated excellent background knowledge and shared it in a clear, engaging, and professional way. All activities — landings, Zodiac cruises, and kayaking — were conducted confidently, safely, and with great attention to detail. At all times, the operation felt well planned and highly professional. Cleanliness and hygiene on board were excellent, contributing to a very comfortable and reassuring expedition environment. A superbly executed expedition voyage that truly lives up to its “Discovery & Learning” promise. Highly recommended.

Excellent expedition cruise to Antarctica. The ship, the crew, the food, the landings were exceptional and everyone worked really hard to make this an incredible experience. The ship was just great, not luxury, but just great. Remember the itinerary is a suggestion the weather dictates your experience.

Fantastic Expedition Cruise to Antarctica. Highly recommended. They focus on activities off the ship and over delivered. MV Ortelius was well maintained and comfortable. Captain Per was very accommodating to the passengers with access to the bridge during weather, adjusting the route to take advantage of whale sightings and managing the route to take advantage of openings in the weather. The expedition team was top notch. We were off the ship 22 times and visited islands and the continent not normally available. Food was excellent with great selection of Gluten-Free and Vegetarian options. Wonderful experience.

This tour is exceptional and well organized. Everyone on board were exceptional and it seems is to take care of us (guests). Our living space was comfortable, Food was excellent , Captain and crew were very accommodative and the expedition team leader, assistant leader and all others were very professional and smiling all the time.

We had the most wonderful experience with Hondius to Antarctic Peninsula for the Basecamp tour. Expedition leader Chloe, assistants exp. leader KJ and Koen as well as the whole international guides were great, humorous, easy-going but also professional. They really took care of the wildlife and managed to do last minute alternative plans due to bad weather and to ensure we all get the best activities during our trip.

I went on an Antarctica Basecamp expedition with a company, and it was incredible—a memory I'll cherish forever. Camping, kayaking, and mountaineering were so much fun. We spotted lots of penguins, whales, and seals. The crew was awesome and super friendly. Being a vegan, I had a few food options on board, and the chef even cooked special meals for me sometimes. It was an amazing journey that I'll always treasure.

Trip: Antarctia with Falkland Island and South Georgia (date 20. 10. 2025 - 12.11.2025) with ship Ortelius. The Captain Per and his crew, the expedition guide with George and the hotel team with Volodomyr has been perfect. It was a marvellous trip, we enjoyed it.

One of the greatest holiday experiences was recently on board the remarkable ship Plancius. The trip was phenomenal, from Ushuaia to inside the Antarctic Circle, camping out overnight under a star filled sky. Setting foot on the Antarctic continent. Experiencing Penguins, Seals, Humpback, Minke, and Fin Whales. Shags and Albatross, plus the breathtaking scenery of Antarctica. The guides are superb, the ship crew sensational. Food choices are as good as any high-class hotel and, in many cases, better. The restaurant team of Jerrica, Charlotte, Kahel, Indira, Prince, Raquel, supported by Jerricho, Maylin, Menchie, Alice, Lemuel, Stephanie, the cooks, the AB team, no better team exists on any ship Yes, it is expensive but if you can, it is highly, highly, highly recommended. The photos do not do it justice. The videos even of whale call can not give you the feeling, but as you can not have my memories, they will have to do.
