Ocho Artisan Bungalows

My partner and I recently stayed at Ocho. It was our third and final spot we stayed in Tamarindo, and it truly felt like we found an oasis! We were greeted with such a kind and warm welcome, we were even allowed to go to the beach club while our room was cleaned as we arrived earlier than check in time. The beach is beautiful and the beach lounge area has something for everyone. The pool area was clean and quiet and refreshing- we enjoyed mojitos while watching the parrots and monkeys. Our room (bungalow 6) was magical. The air conditioning was perfect, the room was very clean. We heard howler monkeys one morning, such a treat! Breakfast was delicious, many options to choose from. The highlight of our stay was our wonderful massages we got in our bungalow- I would highly recommend! This massage was better than my luxury resort back home in the states. I would highly recommend Ocho to any adults looking for a beach front, relaxing, boutique Tamarindo experience.

Ocho Artisan Bungalows was a unique and charming destination. The bungalows were comfortable, warm and inviting. The location on the beach and walking distance to food and shops was great. The food and drinks were so delicious on sight. The staff is incredible! They are very friendly, helpful and attentive to all your needs. It is a wonderful place to relax and chill!

Ocho Bungalows was an absolutely perfect place to stay! My wife and I loved the location only steps from the beach. The property's location is ideal, offering easy beach access but with seclusion in the trees. The Beach Club has amazing food, breakfast, with Happy Hour. The staff was exceptional, and some of the friendliest people you could ever meet. We loved every minute and will stay here again.

My wife and I spent Christmas week here with my parents. We stayed in bungalows 2 & 3 and they were equally beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff coordinated a shuttle pickup for us from (and to) Liberia airport and had everything ready to go when we arrived on site. The restaurant and amenities were top notch and the location was unbeatable. Waking up and walking to the beach within a minute made you feel like you were in paradise. At night, you could walk to various delicious restaurants within a few minutes. To top it all off, the staff was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back!

First visit to Costa Rica and we wanted a unique place to stay that was private and comfortable. This place was a wonderful experience limited number of bungalows so very private. Wonderful location with direct beach access and close walking distance to downtown. The restaurant food and drinks were great and the staff even more so! Only issues were taken care of very quickly and my only recommendation would be to avoid bungalow number 1 or 2 if noise from the road may bother you. We will be back!

Ocho is incredible!! A paradise in the midst of a vibrant beach area. It’s hard to describe how beautiful, comforting, welcoming and aesthetically pleasing this little resort is. Our bungalow was magnificent, with an ocean and pool view. The interior design is truly wonderful. We only spent one night, and we’d love t come back for a longer visit. The staff was excellent, warm, welcoming and just perfect! Finally…the breakfast…oh my, so yummy!! Huge thumbs up!!

Rented a three bedroom villa right off the beach, with great beach access, private courtyard with Jacuzzi and shower, and well decorated three bedroom (with full kitchen and living room). Loved it. Service was great and Jimmy was very attentive and helpful. The restaurant has the best setting on the beach and we enjoyed our breakfast there every morning.
