Ochsenbraterei Oktoberfest München

We had an absolute blast at Ochsenbraterei! 🎉 We ended up staying for 10 hours and loved every minute of it. The atmosphere was incredible, lively, festive, and full of energy. The food was delicious, and of course the beer was fantastic. The staff kept everything running smoothly even with the huge crowds. An unforgettable Oktoberfest experience! 🍺🥨🐂

Oktoberfest is an experience you have to try at least once in your life — even if you’re not a beer fan. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible: full of energy, fun, and good vibes that just pull you in and don’t let go! The festive parade is a highlight on its own — so many colorful, detailed, and diverse costumes, it’s simply breathtaking. On August 21, 2025, it was surprisingly easy to find spots right along the route without much hassle. We didn’t have a reserved table in the tents, but twice we managed to find places for all five of us. You can’t stay too long without a reservation, but it’s not too hard to move on and grab another spot. The beer is delicious — but be careful, it’s strong! I’m not usually a fan of Bavarian food, but even I really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

On this particular trip, I became well acquainted with Josef, this young bull was just rotating around making alot of people happy and satisfied to have come to this tent. But this is one of the top 12 tents at Oktoberfest each year, it is hard to compare it to anything else in the world! The comraderie, the happiness, the life long friends you will make! This is true freedom at its finest! As a wise Brigadier General from his majesty's royal airforce once told me, "If they attempt this event anywhere else in the world like this, it would be pure chaos, rioting in the streets."

A great experience and something I wanted to do for years. The October festival is spread over a large area, very busy and vibrant, there are multiple places on site to drink German beers, listen to music or sit and have locally inspired food. For the youngsters there are impressive fairground/ amusement Park rides and other activities on site to entertain kids. After 6pm not suitable for the younger children as it gets extremely busy.

Loved the vibes of this festival. Totally recommended to anyone visiting munich during September month. Similar one is spring fest which I recently attended at same place

Very busy but it was very nice. Great experience to have but be mentally ready for the crowd.

So much fun! So many carnival rides and games. The pretzels are the best I've ever had. You must order the 1/2 chicken and the roasted ox dish!
