O'Connor's Bar & Guesthouse

Booked this for 1 night as part of our tour of the Wild Atlantic Way. Found it to be a little gem. Our room was big and clean with a really comfortable bed. What made our stay was the welcome from the staff and the stories from the owner in the bar where we also ate. Great food and big portions. There was entertainment on that night which was fantastic. Brilliant singers with traditional music. Everyone talked to everyone and it was a fantastic social night. Cloghane is beautiful and we had a quiet night's sleep after a fantastic evening. Paid for breakfast as it wasn't included in our deal which was excellent value at 12 euros for tea/coffee/juice/continental and full Irish

Stayed here for one night while hiking the Dingle Way. Dinner was good - served in the pub along with plenty of beer and friendly chatter. The rooms are...let's describe them as having a "historical" quality to them. They are very basic and could definitely use an update.Basically one step above a hostel. Breakfast was rather lackluster. Views over Brandon Bay are impressive.

Liked: Quiet, good fishing area (when tide is in). Everyone seemed very friendly, nobody was there and we had the pitch to ourselves. Campfires allowed which was a plus for us. Disliked: Very open, feels like you’re in somebody’s back garden. Lack of communication from staff, not sure where toilets were ect. Open gates (dogs came in and stole our food off our barbecue)

Went to O'Connor's for dinner after seeing their food after 4 pm sign. Amazing Irish beef platter, hot wings and of course pasta for the kids. Such a warm and inviting space. The owner went by each table and was very welcoming. Thanks for the lovely time!

Liked: Liked the views and simplicity of the campsite. It was quiet while we were there and my children loved the freedom. I felt it was safe. Disliked: No kitchen wash up area, toilets basic but working perfectly.

Liked: Such a lovely location.the staff in the bar were really friendly and the food was AMAZING. Yes the Toilets and showers are basic but that didn't take from our trip. The peace and tranquility of the place far outdid itself. Disliked: The fact that we couldn't stay longer 😪

Liked: Views across the estuary and hills. Gravel pitch good size and water pipes nearby. Bar serving food at the site. Disliked: The chemical toilet disposal is the worst I have used. No ability to clean up and very unhygienic. The toilets and showers need updating. They are very poor.

Liked: The pub was good. Lovely food and live music. Amazing view, right at the edge of the water with the mountains in the background. Disliked: Shower arrangements. If you want more than a 3 min shower, you have to step out into a mixed set bathroom to put in another euro. This was not made clear.
