Liked: There aren’t enough words to describe this place. I wish i had been staying for longer to take in the views. The food in the pub was lovely, the people were a delight and the campsite was in the most perfect place. The facilities were basic but did the job just fine. Tent pitches were easy to get to and plenty of options. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back very soon!!

Liked: The views are just stunning. Everywhere you look is so beautiful. The price is also stunning, especially in these times where you need a small mortgage to go on holiday. Yes the facilities are dated but that’s how they can keep prices down. The staff are so lovely. Disliked: The fact we didn’t get to sample the live music in the pub due to the weather taking a turn for the worst we only stayed for 2 days instead of 5.

Liked: The view is breathtaking! It was an easy in and out. Had a great spot (B) that had water and power. Check in was easy with pitch up and we were pleased with the overall experience. Disliked: Need to bring long hoses as the best (even) spot on the pad was away from the water source. We managed to”fire drill style” to fill our tank.

Liked: Love this campsite location is amazing.. We have returned numerous times. The local pub is great fine food and a great pint.. One of our favourite sites Disliked: Toilets definitely need updating and a campers kitchen would be amazing. Someone needs to check the toilets regularly to ensure that they are cleaned and toilet roll is filled.

Liked: Warm welcome to a stunning location. The food in the restaurant was gorgeous and the pub was hoping. We were guided to a nice quiet spot on the site with space for the kids to play. Disliked: The toilets could be attended to a bit more but we were well prepared

Liked: Lovely campsite in a lovely location overlooking a tidal inlet and Mt. Brandon in the background. Beautiful spot. There is a nice pub on site. There is power and water available close to each pitch. The pitches are level so no need to be leveling up the camper. There is also plenty of room for an awning. Disliked: Facilities are adequate but could do with some updating

Liked: Beautiful setting for a campsite. Had toilet and showers and was close to the pub for live music. It was nice and quiet. Added bonus able to park next to your pitch so you don't have to haul all your stuff with you Disliked: If i was to stay here longer, I do think the facilities could be upgraded. I.e communal kitchen area and updated showers and toilets. But other than that ideal set up for a night or two

Liked: Location and scenery and the pub on site are the best things about the campsite! Disliked: There was a distinct lack of instructions on how to check in and no information on where to set up and where the bathrooms are. (Turns out you go to the pub to check in and the bathrooms are in the dark pink building). Bathrooms and showers are super basic and there are 2 of each for the whole campsite. Showers are €1 for about 2 mins of hot water.
