Very sheik and great for the purpose! The gentleman on site is very helpful and friendly! You have a mattress covered in plastic which I loved. A mini fridge and a one cup coffee machine. Bring you a queen size sheet and pillows. Don’t forget your blanket! There’s amazing views. Just pray for a clear night. We’d come back over and over again.

Love this place. It's the way to camp! Sturdy a-frame 'tents' with electricity and heating/cooling. Bathhouse was clean and well maintained. Groundskeeper Richard was very nice and helpful. The views were gorgeous. 2 Adirondack type chairs and a small table at each site. Less than 1/2 hour to the Big Bend National Park entrance. Lots to see in the area.

It was overall a nice place to stay. The facilities were cleaned every day and the room was clean. The lighting in the room was horrible so bring good lights. You don't get service from the prosperity manger but if you want wood delivered to your camp site apparently they can do that. I don't recommend this campsite for people with balance issues. There was really big plus in our cabin, we had all the outlets you could ever want. I'm not sure about the other cabins.

We had an absolutely amazing two-day stay at Ocotillos Village, and it was everything we hoped for and more! The A-Frames were beautifully maintained, cozy, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. The quiet atmosphere and stunning night skies made for an unforgettable experience—those stars were absolutely breathtaking. The bathrooms and showers were impressively clean, and one thing that really stood out was how well they kept up with pest control. We didn’t encounter any scorpions or other critters, which was a huge relief and made the stay even more enjoyable. While the A-Frames are small and best suited for two people, they’re incredibly charming. There’s one larger A-Frame that can accommodate up to four people, though we didn’t get a chance to stay in it. It’s worth noting that this place is such a gem that reservations tend to book out far in advance. Another highlight is its proximity to Big Bend National Park, which was also on our family’s bucket list. The combination of Ocotillos Village and Big Bend made for an incredible adventure. If you’re looking for a unique, tranquil retreat that offers an authentic connection to nature, Ocotillos Village is the perfect destination. We can’t recommend it enough!

To be fair, I loved the place. The rooms are comfortable, the bed was comfortable, and the restrooms and showers were clean. I am not sure what I was expecting when I booked this, but I didn't think it would be so close to the road. The lights from the cars passing by did the distract from the beauty of everything. Also, we just happened to be there when a duststorm rolled in. It was an interesting experience to say the least as the little a frame was shaking quite a bit. In the end, it withstood the strong winds and we came out unscathed. Will I stay here again? Definitely. But now I know what to expect.

Very cute little A-frame cabins. My issue was how HOT they were when we arrived. I wish I was being dramatic, but I felt like I was really close to having a heat stroke in the ten minutes we stayed after arriving waiting for the A/C to power up. After driving 9 hours to get here all we wanted was a little nap before dinner, but the heat made it impossible. The power kept cutting out whenever someone else checked in and turned their A/C on, which wasn’t helping the situation, so we left and came back when it was later in the day after it cooled. My suggestion would be to turn on the A/C’s a couple hours before check in for booked cabins if it’s blazing hot out. It would have been lovely to decompress on arrival, but it was a nice night after it cooled down. Loved the outdoor showers and they clean every morning so it’s very tidy. Cabins are spaced out so you don’t really hear your neighbors if you have any. Great views and lots of cute little bunnies hoping around too. Would definitely come back during the cooler months.

Love this option. Bare necessities for a fair price. A-frame huts face east for great sunrise pictures. Very nice place. No hassle from anybody. AC works great. Close to the park.

This was a terrific glamping experience. Everything was clean units are spaced far enough away from each other. They help you get firewood. Rick who attends the property had some terrific life stories to share. Close to stores and restaurants if you don’t was to cook. Unit is air-conditioned and also has a coffee maker and a fridge. Mattresses are high-quality memory foam.
