First of all, Customer service here was great. Unfortunately the room that we stayed in was is not up to par to the standards of a 5 star luxury resort. We only stayed there for 2 nights and addressed The room issue to Management on the first day but because of no availability We had to stay in that same room. The next day they were able to move us to the next room And unfortunately it still had a strong odor. Restaurant and food was exceptional. Enjoyed the thermal spring. We stayed in the walkout pool room ground level. Service was great, room we stayed in was a disappointment for a 5 star.

We were blown away by this beautiful spa! The pools and spa facilities were spotless and incredibly relaxing! The breakfast was divine! Dinner was fantastic --ask about the "cozidha experience"! But, more than the physical nature, the staff members were kind, professional, informative, and helpful. From Mauro the concierge, to Fernando the bartender, to Rodrigo the doorman, every person we met was exceptional, true credits to the Octant family. We absolutely will return!

We had an excellent experience - service was great!! They offered breakfast to us on the day of arrival since we arrived early!! Felt like family! During Manager’s cocktail, we were served drinks and cheese and staff, Lilliana showed us how to play and also played Marralhinha, local game with us for some time. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are kept pretty clean! Breakfast buffet is excellent with all local fresh ingredients. Thermal pools are wonderful experience with both indoor and outdoor options. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Furnas!!

Octant Furnas is a fantastic 5-star boutique hotel. We stayed there for 10 days and everything was perfect. Lovely room, great restaurant, amazing hot water pool and spa. On top of that, the service is amazing with genuinely friendly and caring staff. Located in Furnas, a lovely town craddled in a crater, offering one of the most beautiful botanical gardens we’ve seen. We would have loved to stay longer

We had a wonderful stay here during our honeymoon. Service was excellent! They really went the extra mile every time. For example we asked if they could spare some dish soap to wash our metal water bottles and they offered to wash them for us and returned them refilled with ice water. There were a lot of little perks not included in other hotels in the Azores like free Azorean soda in the mini fridge and coffee and snack service from the bar during some times of the day. The food was excellent, we chose to eat there every meal during our time there and were never disappointed. The pool and spa were phenomenal! What a privilege to experience the geothermal water but with the added bonus of more privacy and filtration. Pools are open 24hrs and when we went around 10PM each night we were usually alone. The rooms are on the smaller and more humid side. Overall a phenomenal experience, will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Octant Furnas. The entire staff—from the front desk and doorman to the bartenders and wait staff—were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was consistently clean and well-kept, and we appreciated the turndown service. The small touches throughout our stay did not go unnoticed and added to the overall experience. During the day, we explored the beautiful surroundings of Furnas, returning each evening to relax and unwind at the hotel. The outdoor dining experience was memorable, and the meal was delicious. We also made the most of both pools each day, which added to the enjoyment of our stay. Overall, our visit to Furnas was exceptional, and Octant Furnas played a big part in making it so.

Very nice people at this property. Wonderful assistance from Murillo sorting out an issue with our flight. The hotel needs serious updating. Bathrooms are old and cheaply constructed, especially the shower. The pool area needs more attention to the seating and towel cleanup. Overall, everything needs to be new, not seemingly 30 years old.

We had a beautiful and relaxing stay at Octant Furnas. The staff were friendly and helpful and everything about the food, space, cleanliness, and service were top notch. We particularly appreciated the 24 hour spa, which was a very relaxing space, the ease of driving there and parking, and the delicious daily breakfast, including local pineapple and cheeses. We will return!
