Odinsborg Café & Restaurang

Great little cafe with seating upstairs and outside. Variety of Swedish cakes and biscuits & teas. Also sandwiches etc and coffee. Reasonable prices. The best part: the old building and its decorations! Things to see in every room.

I had a day trip in Uppsala several months ago and was dining in this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the food both looked and tasted amazing!!! I’m a person who doesn’t really eat pork often but the pork(bacon?) dish in this restaurant was so fabulous! The fish tasted good too but sadly was not in a big portion. They looked so lovely, didn’t they? 🩷

Good food. Good drink. Beautiful scenery. It was a little confusing at first as American tourists but once we got the ordering and picking up of food figured out (with some help) it was well worth it. Grilled meats were great and those potatoes were super good. And eating outside whole taking in the majesty of the location was peaceful and just plain amazing.

Beautifully preserved traditional building, the food was great and the staff were friendly, also speak very good English.

I was there for a Julbord (Swedish Christmas table). The food was of great quality and plenty. The restaurant had a nice, calm and cozy atmosphere, I would recommend it to a friend.

Wonderful Sunday lunch! Wasn't on the menu but the chef created a vegan plate which was absolutely fabulous. Gourmet presentation and rich flavors.

Lone cafe store in the picturesque village of Gamla right at the main attraction..cannot be missed and a cup of coffee is a must..

Nice and cozy place, young and friendly staff. Surrounded by historical places, good choice for having Fika and delicious Belgium waffles. Cleanliness can be improved.
