Odyssey Aquarium is one of the coolest aquariums I’ve been to—and easily the biggest I’ve seen in Arizona. The exhibits are impressive, and what makes it stand out are the unique encounters you can add on: meeting penguins, hanging out with a sloth, or even diving with the fish. Those experiences do come at an extra cost, but they’re a fun option if you’re looking for something special. One of my favorite parts of the aquarium is the rotating viewing room—it’s such a neat and creative way to take in the exhibits. It really adds to the whole experience and makes it feel different from other aquariums. Overall, Odyssey Aquarium is absolutely worth a visit. Whether you just walk through the main exhibits or splurge on one of the encounters, it’s an unforgettable experience.

We had an amazing time at Odysea Aquarium! Arriving around 5 PM, we had plenty of time to explore all the attractions. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, making our visit even more enjoyable. The aquarium itself was spotless, which added to the overall experience. My family and I truly loved our time together here. Highly recommend!

There are so many great things to say about this aquarium! From massive, beautifully maintained tanks to truly unique marine life, the experience was both fun and memorable. The “America’s Best Restroom” display adds a quirky and unexpected highlight that’s actually worth checking out. One of the standout features was the ability to view the shark tank from different angles, offering an up-close look at these incredible creatures. We also enjoyed the “Sea Odyssey” exhibit, which took about 25 minutes and showcased five uniquely themed tanks, each with large, impressive fish that set this aquarium apart. A must visit for all ages! The cost per adult was $50 each.

Google
Highly recommended aquatic getaway! Beautiful bathroom with a lovely fish tank as your mirror. Educational stations from sharks to penguins. I love all the educational signs to learn from animals and preservation to these. The moving stage is cool yet and makes you pause to learn about the species! We attended in the afternoon in Summer when Arizona can get hot outside.

We visited the OdySea Aquarium located at 9500 East Vía de Ventura Suite A-100 in Scottsdale, Arizona a while back. This aquarium is full of the things one would expect to see at an aquarium, with 200,000 square feet of space to explore. There’s over 300 different species to observe. We thought the best part was the SeaTREK underwater helmet diving exhibit. We attended a brief training session and we were outfitted with wetsuits, then climbed into a large tank where helmets were placed over our heads that have a continuous supply of air pumped in to allow us to breathe. The manta rays were playful and interacted with the guests visiting their underwater home. There were also small sharks in the enclosure, but they mostly avoided the humans. They also offer rental of waterproof cameras to take underwater pictures and video from inside the enclosure. There is a food court with different varieties of food and drink to enjoy. The only bad part about our visit to OdySea was at the food court, where our beverages were accompanied with paper straws that fell apart almost immediately, rendering them absolutely useless. I get it that they are trying to promote the elimination of plastic, but these paper straws did not change anyone’s mind that they could be a suitable replacement for plastic straws. Maybe in time, the manufacturing process will provide an improved version of this paper straw, but these were useless. Visiting OdySea was a lot of fun and we look forward to going back again.

Had a great time! Sadly three of the four touch tanks were closed, and the rotating aquarium was down for the day which is why I took a star. All said- absolutely amazing experience with so much to see. The AC was cold, the employees friendly. Expensive, but educational and definitely somewhere you can spend a few hours.

Google
💯 worth the money....why because its huge! So many fish to see and how fun for the kids!!! I definitely recommend this for a half day adventure especially during the summer! A tip...order your tickets online and often times there are deals. If you can't find a cupon code call and ask! Also plan for two to three hours here at the least. If you really spend time looking and reading it can take more time. A fun family outing for sure!!!

Google
Place was really great to spend a couple hours in. We went at 4:30pm on a Tuesday and want busy, easy to find parking and bought tickets in advance so no wait. 10 year old with us really liked it all, especially the rotating theater aquarium. Area around it has a lot of places to go to and hang if you want to go before 4:30pm at the aquarium too.

Yelp
Amazing experience! We didn't really know what to expect but were blown away by OdySea Aquarium. There were SO many exhibits and it was so interesting. So many fish but there was so much more - penguins, caiman, sea lions, stingrays, sea turtles, octopus, lobsters, even a Toucan and a sloth - the list goes on! From rivers to oceans - so much to see! The jelly fish tanks were mesmerizing and peaceful to watch. We loved the OdySea Voyager experience. Having sharks swim by as you wash your hands in the restroom was pretty cool. You can pet rays which is fun. They've got a massive gift shop with so many items, so don't skip it! I highly recommend the OdySea Aquarium.

Yelp
Odyssey Aquarium is hands down the best season pass you can get yourself as a parent in Arizona! We visit regularly, and it never disappoints. The entire place is always clean, the staff is friendly, and the attractions are engaging for both kids and adults. The fish seem genuinely happy, active, and well cared for--with plenty to see, learn about, and do throughout the day. One of the best parts? There's so much around the aquarium too--great food options, interactive exhibits, and places for the kids to burn energy while you relax in the AC. One area for improvement would be the check-in line. As members, we've had to wait 15+ minutes in the heat because there's no separate line for those of us who already have passes. It can be frustrating when we just need to scan and go, especially while others are buying tickets or asking tons of first-time visitor questions. I often see plenty of employees nearby who could easily help keep the line moving--hopefully this is something they consider improving! Special shoutout to Clover, an employee we met sketching the fish on her day off--she was so friendly and happy to talk, and it's clear she loves the animals and her job. Encounters like that make the experience even more memorable. Another big plus: they treat legitimate service animals with respect and care, which we really appreciate. Please don't bring non-service pets--this is a public, indoor animal facility, and Odyssey takes their animal policies seriously, which is part of why it's so clean and safe for everyone. And moms, take note: they also have a great nursing room for mothers with newborns. Quiet, clean, and private--such a thoughtful touch that makes visiting with little ones so much easier. We love Odyssey and will continue to renew our passes year after year!

Yelp
I remember seeing the ads for the place the last few time I was in town. My mom wanted to see it so we decided to go. This was a lot bigger than I'd originally expected. Not to mention they have a Starbucks inside just fyi. I found it strange we were told to use the escalator to go to the second floor at the beginning. It wasn't til we ventured through I figured out why. The aquarium has a huge variety of different fish and critters. They actually had real penguins and turtles along with a wide variety of fish some of which I'd never seen before. One the second floor they have interactive activities for the kiddos to keep em entertained. They also offer a VR experience. When your reach the end you are taken down an escalator that leads you to the tunnel aquarium which is absolutely stunning. This aquarium was actually a really neat experience. Although pricey it was definitely worth a visit at least once. Not to mention they offer other packages to add to the experience with the other attractions around. It was definitely worth seeing!

Yelp
Best way to spend the 4th of July with family, then at the Odysea Aquarium in Scottsdale Az. My grandkids had a great time. Can't wait to go back again.
google avatar

Adrienne C.

Yelp
I had friends in town and we needed a kid-friendly activity where we could stay cool so we opted for this aquarium. I rarely come due to pricing. We hit all of the exhibits and I really enjoyed it. It's very busy and can be overstimulating. The new lobby is cool and they have more stations where you can touch the animals than I remember from previous visits. There were no dolphins because all of them died apparently. It's a nice place but I don't think the pricing matches the lack of activities inside.
google avatar

Emily P.

Yelp
Attended the fish and sips happy hour the aquarium puts on in the evenings for adults, what a great idea! There were also multiple information sessions going on at the exhibits which was very appreciated as I love getting to learn about the animals, it's an aquarium, duh! They had a very basic offering of drinks, but I'm sure you could find something, however, it was a bit pricey and the tickets for the event were already $40. A good idea to escape the heat, but not something you'd do very often.

Yelp
A fun indoor activity during a hot Arizona afternoon. There were many exhibits in an easy-to-follow path through two levels. Lots of aquatic creatures to see up close and enjoy. There were benches at various spots throughout the aquarium. The bathroom was voted the best one a few years back, so I had to go in and see why! Make sure you do that and see for yourself why! Included with admission was touching stingrays, which was fun. There was also a rotating room that took you to several large exhibits with accompanying narration about what you were seeing. Several areas with kids activities, so very family friendly. There were a few options of add-on experiences, but we didn't take advantage of those this time around. It is kind of expensive, but if we lived in this area, we'd take advantage of the yearly pass.
google avatar

Janet B.

Yelp
The membership renewal process here needs improvement. The gals working the desk also need to stay focused on helping one guest at a time to improve customer service. The aquarium itself is nice but the tide pools are often closed and the exhibits are starting to show wear and tear. Staff interaction is decent and we saw a kids camp going on which looked under control but not super fun for those attending ~ they looked bored. At the end in the picture area we were ignored for a long time and given short incomplete answers to our question. Left feeling confused.

Yelp
I stopped by today for the first time with the fam bam and oh my goodness! This place was amazing! From walking into the lobby until you leave the gift shop! Wow. Just wow. The new lobby layout is so freaking cool it's a 360 screen that shows animals and it looks super cool! They also have a 1,000 pound bowl aquariums hanging from the ceiling, super neat honestly. I love sea-life and anything to do with it so this was really amazing for me a 10/10 experience loved it and will continue to return. The bathrooms also have an aquarium in it for when you are washing your hands you can see the fishes and sharks! Everything was nice and clean and neat especially in the restrooms! The staff were friendly and very informative and helpful! They also have a VR area where you can either feel the thrill of being on a roller coaster, or in a safari with gorillas, or you can go explore the ocean and a ship wreck and then also see a big octopus! They also had a dolphin option and I think a few more that I cannot recall. The kiddos loved this and we did it about 3 different times. We also got to touch/pet sting rays also super cool! They also have penguin encounters, sloth encounters (on hold for now), sea-trek to explore under the water with the fishes. They have a lower level and upper level with a whole bunch of stuff to view and do! They also have a starbucks inside. I would highly recommend at least 4-6 hours here to really experience everything and take your videos and pictures. This would be an awesome date night experience, hanging out with the friends, or with your family. Super fun! They also had a voyage ride and it completely turns! You get to view different sea life and learn about them, super cool experience! The Jellyfish exhibit is extremely mesmerizing, I could stare at them all day! Super cool! I would definitely recommend checking out Odysea if you have not already!

Brian G.

Yelp
You can be here for hours enjoying all the exhibits. They even have a audio guide you can follow as you walk through the entire aquarium. Starbucks serves alcoholic drinks. Love this place.
google avatar

Lexi S.

Yelp
If you are local, buy the annual pass. This is a climate-controlled building that you can loiter in, need I say more? Plus, if you plan on going at least twice in a year span, it makes sense to purchase the pass. If you're a snowbird, bundle with something else on the Boardwalk to get a better price. The staff at OdySea are always very kind and willing to answer any questions. On days where there are less people, it's very easy to ask them questions at the touch pools or flag one down in front of an exhibit. If you go during the week, you avoid the kids and can enjoy blue mind state. Some of my favorites are the caimans, the Sea Trek tank, various jellyfish, seahorses, and clownfish. It's the biggest aquarium in the Southwest - why it has birds and sloths I will never know, but if you're in the area I would hit it up.
google avatar

Kristen L.

Yelp
I liked walking around the Odysea aquarium. What I remember the most is seeing the large shark tank in the restroom where the mirror usually is above the sink. I also liked the clown fish that reminds me of Nemo. When I have went to other aquariums before, I like to see the unique sea life. I was surprised that they had some birds in the aquarium. I haven't seen that before in an aquarium, just at the zoos. The penguins were also cute and they kept diving down into the water in front of the glass. The line to purchase tickets IS often long, especially in the summer. I think it's long because the weather is so hot that people like the idea of going somewhere indoors. However, it usually super loud and crowded due to all the kids.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Much better attraction With the added exhibits for the price than I previously mentioned ..more hands on activities, petting the manta rays, otters, sloths
google avatar

Kaela S.

Yelp
I honestly love every visit to OdySea Aquarium. It's huge, there are a ton of exhibits and different critters from all over the world, and their plaques are very informative! I've been to many aquariums all over the US and I think OdySea has a good, unique variety of animals and the way the building is designed creates a good flow for visitors. I also think it's incredibly important to support aquariums and zoos that actually take care of their animals, and OdySea seems to be doing a good job. I think I could spend hours here!

Yelp
Years ago, we had a membership to Odysea but when our employment took us back to the East Valley, we never really renewed it. During the time we stopped going, a lot of reservations occurred. My visiting family and I had gone here this past weekend to spend time together and show the kids around. There was plenty of parking, but a lot of visitors for a Sunday. We got our tickets at the window, and immediately got our photos taken with two poses (regular and one pretending to hold a penguin.) There was plenty to see especially for my toddler and the teens. As we were looking at some ugly fish, a penguin appeared with an entourage! That was so fun to see the penguin waddle through as the staff let us know it was coming through. They had changed the food court into a Starbucks, and it looked like they were renovating a nearby section. The rest of the exhibit was great, and then we got to the voyager! I absolutely forgot about this section, but before you end your tour, there is an interactive show were you are seated. It is a moving auditorium which shows you three major exhibits as if you're in a submarine and visiting the wildlife. We got our photos at the end of the exhibit and went on our merry way! We will be back again, since it was so fun and the kids really enjoyed it!
google avatar

Ivy R.

Yelp
Seatrek underwater tour was quite an experience- felt like a training before going to snorkeling/scuba diving. Kristin, Aaron, and Ronnie will guide you all throughout the tour ensuring safety and fun! My first time to do the tour and I'm glad I did it this time!
google avatar

Marshall G.

Yelp
We have company from New York. Even tho this is a two hour drive from here it was so worth it. We are former PADI divers and our guest never dove. So a real show and tell day. Moray eel was a show stopper.
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
We recent started coming here. It's a really great place to.explore. the downfall is its quite expensive. You can get a discounted price if you go in the later part of the day. They have a wide variety of creatures and lots of areas to explore. They also.offer occasionally a happy hour at night which we really loved. Drinks were overpriced but it was a cool set up by thr jellyfish and it was nice to have the additional staff across sharing insights into different animal and fish. We do find that the penguin area is quite dirty on the glass and desperate needs to he cleaned. I also wish you could see the sea lions without going through thr moving seat activity.
google avatar

Gregory B.

Yelp
For over $100 for two adult entry tickets, I expected way more. There are some neat encounter opportunities but these start at $99 pp. Seemed like many of the exhibits were under Maintenance or construction. And of course, the place was overrun with children during the week. If you're going to go, I'd recommend also checking out the butterfly house which looked interesting, but there was a long line and another large fee to enter. Not one of the better aquarium I've been in, but a decent outing for the family. If you can get over the amount it's gonna cost you.
google avatar

Diele K.

Yelp
What a beautiful place! Loved that we could purchase both tickets for the Butterfly experience and the aquarium. Made for a great day of family fun with my niece for her first birthday. Not sure who was more excited, me or her? Probably me! I'll definitely be back and thought this was a very fun and informative activity!
google avatar

Gayl B.

Yelp
What a gem! There really is so much to see here. The first time I came, decided to get season tickets and am glad we did because after the first couple of visits, the trips are free!! There is a fun sit down learning experience that rotates around to several large tanks. There are "petting" areas and we you need a break, there is a Starbucks inside. I do like their gift shop too for unique fun gifts. May have to do some Christmas shopping here a little later in the year!
google avatar

Lam B.

Yelp
While I love aquariums, the pricing was a bit steep for a 1.5 hour experience. Especially with Phoenix zoo being nearly $10 cheaper, OdySea would leave patrons less disgruntled if there were more attractions. I bought my tickets in combination with the Butterfly Wonderland so it was 10% cheaper but I can see the bill racking up for bigger families. Staff members were nice and check in was easy. However the inside the aquarium was so fishy and humid. While I enjoy seeing the fish through an open tank, there needed to be stronger airflow. The initial exhibits were impressive. The collection of turtles was lively and diverse. The river fish were massive and honestly intimidating. While the otters were adorable, they were mostly sleeping in a corner that was only accessible via a staircase. The penguins faced a similar issue with majority of them staying above water so it was harder for vertically challenged guests--like myself--to view them. There were stations to touch the stingrays and sturgeon but they were crowded and unregulated. I wished there was greater emphasis on washing hands to prevent getting the animals and guests sick. Notably the escalators were designed to go through a deep ocean tunnel which was mesmerizing. The decor for the deep underwater rays and sharks truly embodied the expansiveness. There was a cinema experience where we were seated in a room that went around 360 degrees. The room was cool and the revolving aspect was unique to this aquarium. My overall experience was closer to 3.5 stars as there were a good amount of sea creatures for AZ. However the price felt too high for my experience, especially with the smell and humidity.
google avatar

Sabrina T.

Yelp
the odysea is such a cool experience! we visited in june during a very hot period of the day and it was a great relief from the scottsdale sun! all of the staff is very friendly and educational about all of the animals, and the decor was incredible! the bathroom with the fishtank is a must-see for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
Under the sea, under the sea, Down in the water Great for the kids! We came right after it opens. You do need to make a time slot reservation either online or in person (do it online and save yourself a little be of time). There are all types of sea life, from little Nemo's to Dory's shark friends. We found Crush the turtle. There is an area for you to touch sting rays (great for the kids)! The penguins were just chillin' together in the back of the exhibit, no swimming for them when we were there. It looks like they were conducting important penguin business. Plenty of parking around the area. We took snacks for the kids and water because we can't drink sea water. Nothing beats the look on a kids face when they see the majestic sea creatures! There are family restrooms which make it easy for all the members of the fam to use the bathroom at once. It's great to get away from the heat outside and enjoy the views.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
Lots of fun animals to experience. If you don't like crowds, consider not going on Saturday morning. Lots of parking. There are a number of other activities that you can try in this entertainment complex. There is a real Starbucks situated half way through the aquarium. Somebody had a genius idea. There is a variety of large and small animals here. The revolving theatre experience at the end of the visit is pretty cool (reminds me of the circular ride at Disneyland, California). Overall I would recommend this to all ages.
google avatar

SaVon S.

Yelp
I took my 1 year old son and 4 year old nephew to aquarium on a Saturday afternoon in late, hot June as an activity to get out of the heat. I have been to a few aquariums around the world so my expectations, especially for the price, was something better than what we got. We paid $200 for three adults and one child (2+ years old need a ticket). Military discount is $5 off. We got through the entire experience in 1hr and that's with the one year old taking us every which direction at his own little leg pace. The space just seemed a little dated for the cost. I did appreciate the information that they provided about the different fish and jelly's and such. I also appreciated at the beginning, that it was Arizona waterway focused with regard to conservation efforts. I just think there could be more for the price or they could decrease their price and it would fit better. Price is what you pay and value is what you get, here they don't align.
google avatar

Leon W.

Yelp
The OdySea Aquarium was amazing! I went here with my wife on our first anniversary and we had a great time. There's lots to do and a lot of fish to see. They have jellyfish, penguins, sea lions, sharks, turtles, and stingrays.
google avatar

Dee W.

Yelp
If you're looking amazing Aquarium you have found your place. This place has so many fish and fun interactive exhibits I was in a veterinarians dream. They have a virtual reality exhibit that was outstanding. Everything was really nice! Do yourself a favor and stop by if you're in the area.
google avatar

Jessalyn S.

Yelp
Came here for their adults only Fish& Sips event and had am amazing time! We were told to look at the bathrooms because they're the best in the country and it is true! They look straight into the shark tank and it is impressive. We started with the margaritas which were strong and good. The event is less busy than if you went during the day and since it's adults only, no kids screaming. The touch tanks were so much fun and we went second rounds! I suggest eating beforehand since the food options are simple hotdogs and burgers. The bars were stationed around the aquarium and when you finished a drink there was always one nearby. The live music set up was romantic and it was great to sit and watch the fish. I would definitely recommend going on these event nights. I haven't been during regular hours so can't comment on that but highly recommend going during fish& sips.
google avatar

Jackelyn M.

Yelp
Honestly I love coming here it's so amazing it's a bit pricey for a family of 5 but we have noticed going at 4:30 the price does drop and my children have a blast
google avatar

Ed W.

Yelp
Many things to see here I absolutely enjoyed seeing the collection of fish and other animals. While it might be a bit steep it's actually to be expected. I mean some people complained about the price of ticket's. But if you Think about it you have staff power water and food for the animals, none of that's cheap. I think its a great learning experience for everyone especially the young. Would I go back? Actually if I lived in the area I'd definitely get the annual pass........ So I guess that means YES

D S.

Yelp
It was $215.00 for a family of 4, for less than an hour of mediocre exhibits. Don't go. It's just not worth it.
google avatar

Gerald B.

Yelp
We love aquariums. There is something comforting about watching the seemingly random and aimless swimming and activities of marine life in a huge tank. In the entrance there are suspended globe-shaped aquariums. Their bathroom has won an award. You definitely have to visit the bathroom. They have a revolving exhibit which was very cool to experience because it introduced us to three different aquatic habitats from the comfort of our seats. It's not a massive aquarium yet there is plenty to see.

T M.

Yelp
Such a fun place to go with the fam or even date night. We absolutely love it here. Perfect place to take the kids in summer to beat the heat! You'll be able to see a large variety animals here. From fresh water, saltwater and to land animals, you'll have a guaranteed entertaining engaging experience.
google avatar

LaToya B.

Yelp
It was such a cool experience. There are so many variations of fish, jellyfish, and animals. They even have a Starbucks. We passed the penguins but didn't get to see them as it looked like they were in class. It was cute and funny. Also, the sea lion didn't want to be seen, but his tank is beautiful. We would go back again. The overall location was nice and has plenty to do.
google avatar

Natasha H.

Yelp
It was our first time at the OdySea aquarium, which was super fun to do in the summer and escape the heat in Arizona. After 4 PM they had discounted tickets which was worth it, but we went on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. There's sooo much to see here. At times, I was a little concerned because near the turtles and some of the fish, the top part of the tank was exposed and I'd be concerned about kids putting stuff in there they shouldn't or disrupting the animals. My favorite part was the touch tank where they had stingrays / manta rays swimming around and you could put your hand in there and wait for them to come up to you and touch them. Where the sharks are you had to go in the specific room that rotates and sit through this thing as it rotates which was not bad, but we couldn't see the seals or big turtles unless we sat in that room for the full duration.
google avatar

Dawn B.

Yelp
This was absolutely my favorite thing my partner and I did this summer with my nephew. He was so excited he skipped to each acquarium area and excitedly hollered for me to see and learn with him. It really is amazing to have this feature in the middle of the desert. I didn't know much about the place and was completely caught off guard by all the attractions. There is a rotating theater that is super educational and fun to see. It really makes you feel like you are 10,000 leagues under the sea. There are penguins, which are always cute. I have never done VR, but my nephew really wanted to do it, so we tried it out. My nephew chose the rollar coaster one of all things, but it was very real feeling. My partner is afraid of heights and had to take off the goggles because it stars with a dip, and he couldn't tolerate the idea. I will certainly return with the littles.
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
We went because my dad was in town and it was his voice that day. Really interesting exhibits . I loved how they mainly discussed local marine and animal life. They really have great deals for families. The sharks were really impressive. Animal interactions are a great plus. It's not the biggest aquarium but there's a lot to see.
google avatar

Kristin J.

Yelp
If you have a chance to check out this beautiful aquarium, please do! It was worth every penny. The different fish in aquatic life were so unique and interesting to see. This place is very informative and can take several hours to look at everything I will definitely come back in the future!
google avatar

Armando L.

Yelp
The aquarium was the highlight to our visit to the Arizona Boardwalk. The variety of animals and fish is impressive. My kids were able to see things that they've never seen before. The tanks and viewing rooms were clean and more immersive than other aquariums we've been to. The facility guides you through the exhibits and are spread out to easily view each animal. The value is worth it in my opinion. I can't forget to mention that incredible restroom. You'll have to see it yourself. I won't ruin it for you here. My kids are 7, 11, & 15, and they all enjoyed the visit. The last exhibit in the rotating theater is amazing. Something else to experience. It comes highly recommended.

Yelp
This was a great family outing and overall a great way to do something in Phoenix and not worry about the heat. When you visit make sure to check out the bathroom nearest the entrance. You'll know you're at the right one if you see the sign "Voted America's Best Bathroom". In my opinion, the sign did not disappoint. Definitely the best bathroom experience I ever had.

Yelp
We are pass holders thanks to a wonderful birthday gift to my two kids. However, the pass is PRICEY! Just like the cost of admission to this aquarium. Honestly, I feel the prices are too high for what it is. But it's a great out of the heat attraction in the summer so probably worth it. I would give the aquarium 3 stars over all, for price and attractions. However, the special event Fish and Sips is FIVE star. Love this 21 and over event. Bars throughout the aquarium and really tasty and well priced drinks.

Yelp
Overall it's a good aquarium and worth your time. They have a lot of cool things to see. When you walk in they have fish bowls hanging from the ceiling. You do have to check out the bathrooms where you can see one of the pools and the fish swimming by. They have this ride thing that turns and gives you information and I feel like they could have made it more interesting. One full section had nothing in it. I think the animals were on top of the water but it was weird to sit there and look at nothing. I would definitely recommend though if you're looking for an indoor activity in the area

Yelp
okay yes, the price is high to get in especially for a bigger family. roughly $45 adult $36 kids. we went in as family of six. my husband had to remind me that; we ARE in the dessert and well having this aquarium should be alot of upkeep. on that note, the rest of experience is well! i love the fish tank balls hanging in the front/lobby. and cmon fishtank in the bathrooms are cool too! theres a hold starbucks in the place too so if you need take a break from walking or caffiene fix here we go lol. only COMPLAINT is, (and i love kids--- i mean i have them as well lol). maybe they should limit amount if field trip classes at one time? there was a rush if students at one time and the noise factor was so high. and the pushing around the looking areas were a bit of annoying as well. like i said, love kids and love the fact the field trip is here but maybe limit the amount.

Yelp
OdySea is smaller than some other aquariums, but it's clean, well-organized, and a good way to get out of the heat. My wife and I take our 3-month-old, and he enjoys watching the movement and colors in the tanks. It's an easy spot to walk through with a stroller and a solid indoor option for families with young kids.p

Yelp
So much fun and I got some cool pics of seahorses and swimming manta rays. I love this aquarium and it has a lot of beautiful fishes and sea life everywhere. Be sure to make it upstairs to watch the penguins diving and swimming! The whole place has a lot of fun fish to look at and enjoy. Adults and Kids will love visiting here. I've also been to a couple company parties here and the catered food is amazing too. Always enjoyed my visits here.

Yelp
We visited the aquarium for their Valentine's dinner. E enjoyed the live exhibits and all the workers we encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. The dinner buffet was okay. They kept it full and the lines were never too long. My only complaint would be that they don't sanitize the virtual reality headset after each use. You could provide wipes for guests to clean their own.

Yelp
First time here and it was beautiful and lots to see. I'll start with the negatives..I'm taking a star off for the price, the fact that you have to pay for 2 year olds and that the photos they take of you at the beginning are an additional cost if you want the digital version. I would have thought with the price you're paying they could have included the digital photos if you wanted them. Onto the positives..the tanks are big, clean and the place doesn't stink(I say this because the aquariums at the wildlife zoo stink as soon as you walk in the room). There's a lot to see and there are kids activities near the penguin exhibit. I do appreciate that some of the tanks have steps for kids to stand on to be able to see. Lastly, the first bathroom when you get inside is awesome and a must see!

Yelp
Great place to take little kids who aren't in school yet. I got the annual pass and it has been well worth it especially during the summertime to escape the heat!
