ODYSSEY Boutique Hotel

We have just returned from a lovely week at this hotel and we are full of praise ! From the extremely helpful, welcoming and efficient staff to the spacious well appointed room and lovely pool , the location on edge of the village to the very tasty food in the restaurant. |Catherine and her team run a very tight ship. Pretty well all our fellow guests were returners. And we can see why. The only tiny thing I would have liked would be more shaded areas to sit. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This beautiful small hotel has incredibly elevated itself from our previous visit - when it was already excellent. Stunning, peaceful and tranquil location with all of its 22 rooms - also bar and restaurant too - overlooking the ocean (and the island of Ithaca) which is just a few metres from its pedestrian entrance. Immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean throughout with all necessary facilities you would expect. Family owned, who and like all staff, are informal yet professional and eager to please to ensure your stay is enjoyed to the full. Delightful breakfast - choices of pastries, yogurt and fruit etc also cooked - which is served - not a buffet. Free on-site parking. Swimming in the sea is just a few metres away in a choice of pebbly coves and it has 2 swimming pools with a large uncrowded patio adorned with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas etc. 150 metres (mainly flat) walk to the delightful, small harbour town of Agia Effimia with a multitude of restaurants (its own is superb!), shops, coffee bars and a bus stop. Great location to explore the whole island and less than an hours drive from the main airport. In our view - this is a very special hotel (and area) and is not surprising to learn that many guests return here year after year!

After the most perfect stay at this beautiful hotel last year we couldn't wait to go back again. The second time was just as perfect as the first 10/10 quality of the hotel - service- food and location. The staff here are incredible and always friendly, professional and there to help when you need something. The rooms are huge and all have a breathtaking view over the ocean to the island of Ithica. The location is unreal - you only need to read every other review to know that this is a very special place ❤️ thank you Katherine, Natalie and Steph we hope to see you again soon xxxx

We have stayed at this outstanding Hotel many times over the past 10years and the welcome, room, service, food and everything about this amazing Hotel never fails to impress.|This time we particularly enjoyed our early morning swim off the local beach which is a just a short walk from the hotel. The sea was so calm, cool and refreshing at that time of the morning. Then back to the Hotel for the most enjoyable breakfast with outstanding service.

Our 6th visit since 2011 - 3 years since the last time - why did we leave it so long?|It's the perfect place to unwind for a week or two - we had the same room with perfect views across the bay to Ithaca (all rooms look the same way) and I managed to wake up early enough to catch the sunrise one morning :-)|We've never stayed in such a comfortable hotel before or since - the staff are as delightful as ever - lovely to see Natalie again - and good to get to know Stefanie too. |Breakfast very tasty and plenty of choice all freshly cooked. The new young chef produced some excellent evening meals - Greek with a twist!|As usual we had a hire car (it's only one hour from the airport) so visited our usual haunts of Fiskardo/Assos etc. Lovely to have a swim off the rocks before breakfast too!|Pool is kept as clean as a whistle and the birds love drinking from it - that's how clean it is.|We received our usual warm welcome from Catherine and Gerry (Katerina and Gerasimos) and had lovely chats with them both as well as Mrs Gerry (Katerina) too - they are more like an extended family to us.|Can't wait until our next visit :-)

We booked this on the strength of several amazing meals in the restaurant. The hotel is perfection! Staff are welcoming and attentive at all times. Peaceful atmosphere, great breakfast and lovely cocktails around the pool. Plenty of sunbeds and a stunning sea view. Rooms are comfortable, luxurious and the shower is the most powerful on the island! Do not hesitate to book!

This is our second visit to the most peaceful, friendly, high quality (in every sense) hotel we’ve stayed at for a long time. The hotel is impeccably clean and the rooms are simply stunning. They are clean, spacious, luxurious, with the most amazing view of the sea and the island of Ithaca. Breakfast is served by friendly and professional staff, and you can have anything you desire, from a beautiful menu, serving local, high quality produce. The restaurant serves a delicious, high quality menu, again with that amazing sea view. All of the staff at this hotel are both a credit and an asset to the hotel’s leadership team. The pool is glorious and never too busy. The small harbour is a very short walk away and offers traditional tavernas and to the left of the hotel there are a few more good quality tavernas. All in all, a great place for a relaxing and recharging holiday.

Absolutely beautiful hotel . Stunning views. Our hotel suite was just lovely , everywhere was so clean . All the staff are really friendly , in particular Katrina on reception. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The location is perfect, a very short walk into agia effimia , which is a wonderful village .
