We're here now and wow, what a place! Exceptionally clean and wonderful, friendly staff, we had a lovely, warm welcome on arrival! The views are stunning. The pool area is quiet with lots of available sunbeds, not on top of each other. The service they offer is incredible, even a supermarket essentials shop! Area is lovely with a short walk to local tavernas. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Our experience was greater than we could have expected. Upon arriving we were welcomed by Katherine who was prepared for us and welcomed us with a smile and drink.|The room was beyond my expectations. Once the door opened all I saw was a beautiful well appointed large room but the ocean is where my gaze fell. All rooms are ocean front with private large balconies.|The morning breakfast is excellent. The pool is sublime blending into the sea.|Service was on point. We received massages On site in the spa by Angela and it was one of the best I have had. After so much travel my back was very sore, she took care of that.|It was my husbands birthday and Katherine with the staff welcomed us all day with happy birthdays and an in suite surprise.|I also noticed many guests were repeat even booking the next stay upon check-out!|The town has everything you need with markets, tavernas, a pharmacy, deli and enough kitties to fill your heart!|Also a bonus paradise beach is right across the street! |I highly recommend, I hope to return.

This was our first visit to the Odyssey Hotel and we are already planning our return for next year. Fantastic Hotel in a beautiful location. I can honestly say this is the BEST HOTEL we have stayed in. The view from the hotel is stunning. Breakfast served at your table, that was a nice surprise. But for us what makes this beautiful little hotel so good are the staff, they are all amazing. Catherine thank you so much for all your help, and we will see you all next year.

This beautiful small hotel has incredibly elevated itself from our previous visit - when it was already excellent. Stunning, peaceful and tranquil location with all of its 22 rooms - also bar and restaurant too - overlooking the ocean (and the island of Ithaca) which is just a few metres from its pedestrian entrance. Immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean throughout with all necessary facilities you would expect. Family owned, who and like all staff, are informal yet professional and eager to please to ensure your stay is enjoyed to the full. Delightful breakfast - choices of pastries, yogurt and fruit etc also cooked - which is served - not a buffet. Free on-site parking. Swimming in the sea is just a few metres away in a choice of pebbly coves and it has 2 swimming pools with a large uncrowded patio adorned with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas etc. 150 metres (mainly flat) walk to the delightful, small harbour town of Agia Effimia with a multitude of restaurants (its own is superb!), shops, coffee bars and a bus stop. Great location to explore the whole island and less than an hours drive from the main airport. In our view - this is a very special hotel (and area) and is not surprising to learn that many guests return here year after year!

After the most perfect stay at this beautiful hotel last year we couldn't wait to go back again. The second time was just as perfect as the first 10/10 quality of the hotel - service- food and location. The staff here are incredible and always friendly, professional and there to help when you need something. The rooms are huge and all have a breathtaking view over the ocean to the island of Ithica. The location is unreal - you only need to read every other review to know that this is a very special place ❤️ thank you Katherine, Natalie and Steph we hope to see you again soon xxxx

We have stayed at this outstanding Hotel many times over the past 10years and the welcome, room, service, food and everything about this amazing Hotel never fails to impress.|This time we particularly enjoyed our early morning swim off the local beach which is a just a short walk from the hotel. The sea was so calm, cool and refreshing at that time of the morning. Then back to the Hotel for the most enjoyable breakfast with outstanding service.

We have just returned from a lovely week at this hotel and we are full of praise ! From the extremely helpful, welcoming and efficient staff to the spacious well appointed room and lovely pool , the location on edge of the village to the very tasty food in the restaurant. |Catherine and her team run a very tight ship. Pretty well all our fellow guests were returners. And we can see why. The only tiny thing I would have liked would be more shaded areas to sit. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I would NOT recommend this place. Let me tell you what $400 a night will get you here: My TV did not work. My shower head did not work.. the furniture is old and not clean. Not to mention, you have to pay for breakfast! Imagine paying $400 a night, and they don’t even give you breakfast! Worst experience I have had at any hotel. They say “ luxury hotel” but there is not one thing luxurious about this place, except for the price. If I could give it zero stars, I would. If you come to this island, don’t bother coming to this hotel.
