It’s a nice cafe that gets in a lot of sunlight from the outside. There are both indoor and outdoor seating. The space is large and other than baked goods, there are also breakfast, lunch, and side options as well as different types of beverages, and even alcohol. Coffee was a bit on the bitter side but the thick cream available to pour on the side made it a bit better.

I had a latte at off the tracks in Grandville, and it was absolutely delicious! It's a peaceful spot, slightly off the beaten path, perfect for relaxing. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. A great experience, highly recommend this place.

Google
I chose this place for breakfast just for having a nice experience in an old style. In my opinion, compared to the prices on the menu, it wasn’t worth trying at all. For just an egg sandwich and a coffee for one person, it cost more than $25. Even the quality and portion size were worse than Tim Hortons.😅😅 I definitely don’t recommend it. For $30, I could have eaten at a much better place.

I work nearby and have been coming in here for the last few years on my lunch break. I know they've had some turnover and staff changes in the last year, but most recently I find the team are extra kind and welcoming to their customers. The food has been really tasty and in the summertime I don't think there's a nicer patio on the island to enjoy your coffee. The banana chocolate chip muffin is excellent too.

Google
The quality and portion size of the Sunrise breakfast sandwich were below average, especially considering the $18 price tag. For the same amount, I could have enjoyed a much higher-quality breakfast elsewhere. Overall, it’s not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Google
Ordered a cortado and a cookie which came to $15. Cookie was great (ginger molasses) but the coffee was not good. Lovely patio and nice space but avoid if you want a nice coffee

Google
I live in the area and haven't been here for a few years, sadly I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. The service staff make you feel like your an inconvenience, barely acknowledging you and spending most of their time focused behind the counter rather than on the line of customers. I don't recommend the mini breakfast burrito, mine was barely warm and wasn't served with the aoli. I gave up trying to catch someone's attention to ask about the aoili and left.

Google
Definitely been here many times and today was a great experience! Lots of staff today, so no weight times. The breakfast sandwich is back to being delicious again! Watch out for the spice! Maybe they should warn about the hot sauce. But I love the soft egg and brioche bun.

Yelp
Found this spot tucked on the side alley at Granville Island while looking for somewhere to sit and eat. (We really wanted to eat in the public market but it was way too crowded) The food menu is short here, but satisfying for a small breakfast. We got a sandwich and two pastries with our coffees. The cafe was really busy and it took a while to get a table, and it smelled of burned food (bread?) so we couldn't sit inside for very long because two of us started getting headaches. Nothing stood out food or drink-wise so we probably wouldn't visit again only because there are so many other great food vendors around there.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped for a quick lunch here the other day. She had been here before a few times, but it was my first time. And it was great! Located halfway down the block on Rainspur Alley, this cute cafe is nestled between artists' studios and little galleries. There were plenty of delicious-looking pastries in the display windows, but I showed great restraint and only ordered avocado toast and a latte. My friend ordered the same, but specified gluten-free toast, and she also ordered a gluten-free brownie for dessert. My avocado toast was delicious. It wasn't cheap; I think it cost around $12 or $13. But the portion was quite large (I couldn't finish it. I had about half), and it was very flavorful and fresh. It came with an egg (cooked any way you choose), and I was too full to eat it. And my latte was bloody delicious! Truly great coffee. I liked how there is seating on the main floor, but there's also a small mezzanine of sorts with additional seating, upstairs. (This is where we had our lunch). Also nice: free wifi here. When you place your order, they give you a flashing disc that glows and flashes a red light when your order is ready for pick-up. Super organized. I'll definitely return when I next visit Granville Island!

Yelp
Only had coffee but still think this place is a gem despite being pretty slow to serve us with only a handful of other customers. This is a nice space both inside and out and has that sort of Granville Island" asthetic (so not super contemporary). Nice patio seats maybe 20.. Why is it so nice? It is on railspur alley where Granville Island actually did what they should with more of the island... Make it pedestrian friendly.

Yelp
It was pretty alright. The coffee was good. Standard breakfast fare. My husband did not like the taste of the sausage but the side jelly that came with the meal was surprisingly mm-mm good. :). Potatoes were nice and crispy. It was sprinkled with some flecks of kale which I think is really there just to appeal to the hype of a typical Vancouverite - meh, I don't hate it. :)
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered a 16 oz iced latte and matcha latte. The iced latte tasted really watered down and the matcha does not have the matcha flavor. I don't think the barista mixed the matcha well enough since the drinks has clumps of the matcha powder and it leaves a really bad after taste. One of the worst drinks I had in a while. Service and baristas were super nice though, but the drinks didn't taste good at all.

Yelp
What a disappointing experience we had this morning. We were excited to have a fun breakfast but everything was wrong. Cashier didn't know the menu or what type of bread was available. He said bacon and avocado were included free but they were not. My two guests did not get the right order, when asked for a correction I was told they did not order anything else. All in all, the price was too much for what we got. I was so disappointed that no one in my group will be going back. Is there a new owner? What happened to the previous menu? So sad

Yelp
Cozy spot to warm up on a cold Granville Island day! I had a delicious almond milk cappuccino while I waited out the rain. Decent amount of seating inside and outside.

Yelp
So happy that I finally got our coffee for the day and what a nice surprise, that we were near Off the Tracks Espresso Bar and Bistro while at Granville Island. Off the Tracks is a Granville Island original providing best of local talents, ingredients, and culture. Off the Track's top priority is always quality and freshness, only the best locally roasted beans, using organic and sustainable ingredients to create all of their dishes, which includes the mouth watering in house jam, speads, and homemade baked goods. It was a very quick visit to Off the Tracks, to grab coffee and a cold brew and we were out in less than 10 minutes,to continue our tour of Granville Island. What a nice and cozy spot for coffee, pastries, brunch, & lunch. I would stay and hang out longer if I had more time. The customer service was great, friendly staff and quick service, and the coffee sure hit the spot for all of us.

Yelp
Lovely latte art! We got the matcha latte, slightly sweetened and it was perfect! My boyfriend did some work here for a couple hours while I explored Granville Island. (The pastry pictured isn't actually sold at Off the Tracks, we had brought it as a snack but thought it looked really good with the latte!) Location is a bit more inward and out of the ways, but the interior is very comfortable so the journey is worth it. Just a note, the window area can be quite cold in the winter but they provide throw blankets for customer use, which is awfully nice of them.

Yelp
Cute and cozy coffee shop on Granville Island. I've never actually stayed long and sat down here; it's always been a quick order and go situation. I love the bright colours of this coffee shop and how it overlooks the Granville Island streets. All the staff are really friendly and my coffee orders have been made quickly. I've only ever gotten my go to order from here: almond milk latte, and it's always hit the spot. I'll happily keep coming back to this coffee shop when I'm on Granville Island.

Diep G.

Yelp
Staff is very friendly. The latte art is beautiful. The coffee is delicious. Definitely will come back.

Yelp
We stopped by for breakfast after seeing all the compliments about this place, but I found the food rather disappointing and overpriced. ----- Granville Island Special: choice of protein (turkey sausage, bacon, chorizo, thyme tomato, avocado), two free-range eggs, garlic kale hash, and multigrain toast ($13.99). We had our eggs scrambled and they were mushy and bland. Perhaps it was cooked with no seasoning for you to self-season with the salt and pepper shakers on the table. Two eggs were written on the menu, but the amount on the plate just seemed so little. For the protein option, I wasn't expecting just a single sausage of which parts were too charred to eat. Then the toast had too much butter spread across it. Loads of the hash though, probably two whole potatoes! I honestly got my fill of breakfast from these potatoes than any of the other components of the dish. ----- Breakfast Burrito with Turkey Sausage: two free-range eggs, aged white cheddar, fire-roasted salsa, wrapped in a wheat tortilla ($11.99). -----

Yelp
Great coffee shop! I had a decaf Americano to go and a chocolate zucchini muffin which was delicious. I was there late on a weekend afternoon and the service was quick and friendly. Very spacious coffee shop and felt like it was well-organized for covid with separate doors for in and out.

Yelp
I don't normally leave comments but I was disappointed to see the man taking orders at the cashier stand had a very tiny upside down face shield that only covered his mouth and didn't cover his nose... mentioned it to him and he wasn't very understanding of our concern. The outdoor seating wasn't monitored and the tables weren't cleaned or disinfected between groups. The food was good but wish the protocols were better.

Yelp
Granville Island is a foodie wonderland and I've been told it can be insanely crowded on the weekends and later in the day. So what's the best plan ... mornings. That means coffee is needed badly before I even try to start talking with the great people of Granville market. A lot of search came up with lacklustre options for coffee and Off the Tracks seemed like the best bet in Granville. The cafe sits more in the lanes with the art studios and away from the chaotic crowds. It's a bit more peaceful here. There is a patio here for a few tables... when we were here, about half the patio tables were taken. There is also a number of seating inside as well if you're wanting to keep out of the sun. The menu does offer more than coffee with a few baked treats and savoury options. At the time I was there, it didn't seem too visually appetizing as most baked goods were pale. For their espresso based drinks, they used the local roaster Elysian for their beans. Flat White - This wasn't a flat white... more like a watery cappuccino. It was unbalanced with the milk with a heightened acidity that made it nearly undrinkable. It also had a lot of over frothed foam on top. Watery and sour? No thanks. 3/5 Perhaps there is another spot on Granville for coffee but this first attempt was not cutting it for me. I would recommend you to give other spots if you're looking for a good coffee... or maybe bring coffee from off the island. That's what I'm considering next time.

Yelp
One of our favorite Coffee shops in Granville Island, Vancouver BC. Busy Coffee shop with. Great vibe. Comfortable seats that encourages conversations with other patrons. We shared a Latte today. The Latte was well made. Nice setting to enjoy the Latte. Service was fast, friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Ambiance 5/5 The place was cozy with its high ceilings. For the inside seating, they both long communal tables and small ones. I think they also had upstairs seating (not sure). There's also plenty of room on the outside patios. It wasn't too busy when I came in on a weekday morning, but I suspect it can be since it's Granville Island. It wasn't noisy and I was easily able to do some work. Food 4/5 I ordered the Tracks Scramble. Jr was cheesy and has fresh veggies. The toast was good (organic multigrain I think) and buttered up. Off the tracks makes their own hot sauce. I tried the Jalapeño based one and liked it. I believe they sell bottles of it and I'll likely pick one up next time. Though it's a cafe, I didn't try the coffee. Service 3.5/5 Staff was friendly and got my food quickly. Value 3.5/5 I'm basing the value strictly on the price of food. I thought the portion was a bit small and the food tasted good but didn't quite knock it out of the park for me. I assume the price is due to sourcing locally.

Yelp
Cozy coffee spot serving great coffee and food! We were looking for a brunch place on Granville where we stumbled upon this spot which looked like it was doing a steady stream of customers. We managed to find a table where the place has large open doors which makes it feel airy. The menu is board which has a list of coffees and brunch items. We settled on tracks scramble, tracks special and Avo toast with 2 regular coffees and a latte. The coffee came relatively quick but unfortunately the food took a bit of time longer than we expected so just be aware food takes time. But the wait was worth it - the tracks scramble had a good portion of eggs, veggies and meat. The special had a very large portion of home fries. My fav was the avo toast - so it was the largest breakfast but I enjoyed the taste of avocado, sprouts and seeds served with an egg over easy. Paired with the great latte - it was a great breakfast that was not greasy. Definitely a fan so I need to come back when I visit Vancouver again

Yelp
Great cappuccino and carrot cake highly recommend for a quick pick me up while you walk around.

Keping w.

Yelp
Going there regularly, but the food has deteriorated so badly! On top of that, horribly slow service (20min for a grilled cheese sandwich with no sides), worse still, arrogant attitude.
google avatar

Tami E.

Yelp
Mediocre hipster service without a smile and very expensive. I am a local and this is most likely a a tourist trap. $20 for a breakfast wrap and coffee. Hey machine asks for a 20% tip and they don't even bring it to your table. They give you a machine that beeps loudly when yours is ready and you have to go get it.

Yelp
This is a lovely little breakfast place in the heart of Granville Island. A patio offers outdoor seating, tables inside offer space for small groups, and an upstairs area provides antisocial peeps with an opportunity to put their headphones on and people-watch. We enjoyed the coffee as well as the Avo Toast and Egg Sandwich options. There are sandwiches, baked goods, and other drinks. I would highly recommend it!

Yelp
Had my first coffee and snack here after landing in Vancouver. Was the closest coffee shop in Granville Island. Had a brewed coffee for my caffeine kick. Was acidic in flavor. Had a gluten free lemon tart. It isn't dairy free because it is made with butter. But I can tolerate butter. Pretty delish, literally tart. And I love tart flavours. My husband had the avocado toast. Waited approx. 15 min. but that was with warning from the cashier. It was worth the wait. My avocado loving husband approved same. He enjoyed the egg and how orange it was. It was a steep $8.50 though. Atmosphere is rustic industrial. Had to sit upstairs. Kinda muggy, no breezes. Music was good but loud. Service was pleasant and straightforward. Overall hit the coffee and snack spot

Yelp
Coffee is great. Tried to get an early breakfast. Didn't work. No breakfast before 0900. Unusual...
google avatar

Yelp
If you are looking for a good quick breakfast before heading to the Granville Market Place you should come here! I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the biscuit with egg cheese and bacon. The biscuit alone was so good. Super warm, crumbly and added great subtle flavor or the sandwich. I don't think I've had a biscuit sandwich so good and satisfying. But the star of the show was the kale and garlic potatoes plate. It came with eggs, your choice of meat and the crispy oh so delicious kale and potatoes. It was bomb. If you like garlic you will absolutely love this. Bring your dog and sit at the outside patio area on a nice day :)

Yelp
It was a sunny day, and I was on Granville Island (which isn't really a island because it's land-locked). Where was I??? It was at one of Vancouver's (Canada) biggest tourist traps, and I wanted to check this place out because they had KENNENBEC fries, which is the best potato for making chips/fries/frites that there is. Usually I will go to OFF THE TRACKS for coffee and had kept meaning to try their fries. Finally I did! I got just a "half" order which costs $4 with tax. So, here's the verdict! Not bad if they were not undercooked, way too much salt, and less than 3oz. I usually love keenebec fries, but it is difficult to find a restaurant that serves them! Most restaurants " cheap-out" and use Russet potatoes. But these are will be crispy (meaning not soggy) if you have gravy on them. First, I have some advice to the proprietor... STICK TO THE COFFEE AND SNACK BUSINESS and leave the French fries to the burgershops and Denny's!!! I will give the coffee maybe 4 stars. But if you order the French fries... Ask them to cook them longer and to hold the salt!
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
I took off most stars because their website says they open at 8am & I got there & they were closed; And their soup does not change too often sadly; otherwise I live on the island so I'm here all the time & I really enjoy the ambiance & the food; amazing coffee. Another time I went there at 8:30am-website still says open at 8am!!!! They said it opens today at 9am? The hours to your cafe are extremely inconsistent? This is a huge turn off. Please put your hours on the website that are current. I'd appreciate it as today & before I have wasted my time. Very unprofessional!!!!
google avatar

Loraine L.

Yelp
Friendly atmosphere. Bright and sunny in the mornings. They don't rush you out and allow you to linger. Had the yummy baileys latte. It was warm and deeply rich. Would come again for sure!

Yelp
The shop formerly known as Agro Coffee on Granville Island has since gotten new people, a new name, and has an updated version of the familiar menu while keeping the old two story space pretty much the same. It's alright. I'll add the staff today is much nicer than the Agro version was. The coffee doesn't blow you away and the food remains a bit pricey, but it ain't that bad and it's nice to have the all-day breakfast options.
google avatar

Phyllis M.

Yelp
Adorable and cozy spot located on Granville island. It used to be the best kept secret on Granville in the past but it's safe to say that that's changed. Delicious fries and food, but it comes at a premium price that is worth it to me. I love the vibes here, from the decor to the staff, it is a fantastic spot to grab a drink or a bite to eat.
google avatar

Shamus M.

Yelp
The food was excellent, the dude serving was was courteous. The barista however, forgot one of our drinks, and instead of making it right away, curiously waited until we asked 3 times and had to pull aside our server. All was *eventually* resolved (15-20 minutes for a soy latte) and we were offered a muffin as a compensation, which was very good. Bottom line: Great service, great food, barista needs more training.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
This place is located in the industrial styled Granville Island. Super cute, traditional coffee themed place. Plenty of seating. Prices appear to be very low, but they're for 5 oz.! We ordered a soy London fog latte and an iced Americano with Mocha. Total was around $9 CAD. Americano was decent. London fog tasted excellent. They use Black Tusk loose leaf tea. I can tell it's quality! I'd definitely come here again if I were in the area :)
google avatar

Dave W.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Thank you Yelp for helping us find this little cafe. They had a delicious breakfast burrito and the egg sandwich my kids devoured. I ordered a Canadioano which is an Americano with whiskey and maple syrup and it was awesome!
google avatar

Christina Y.

Yelp
Not my cup of coffee... Structure wise, the cafe looks great. They have an upstairs area with tables and sofas, and even a long table overlooking the entire cafe. The Americano I ordered tasted a bit sour. I'm not an Americano connoisseur, but I've ordered many cups, and none had this weird taste. Service was... inconsistent. The guy who took my drink order was great and friendly and was kind and funny helping me with the pinpad machine (theirs is funky... requires extra steps and has touch screen even though the machine looks old). The barista that made my drink definitely made a couple drinks for people who were after me in the order line. I think she finally got the hint when I had been the only one standing in the pickup area for 5 minutes.

Yelp
I love visiting Granville Island. I discovered this place on Yelp looking for a good coffee place in Granville Island to just chill for an afternoon and for D and I to meet up with his friends to catch up. This place is not on the busy side of Granville Island. Actually where this is located is in one of the quieter streets on Granville Island and they have outdoor seating, which is perfect since it's not too busy and noisy. The food here is good and the coffee they have here is good too. But what I like most is how comfortable the space is overall. We where there for a long time. I kept ordering different things to try. The onky thing that I don't think I liked was the chai latte. It was too sweet for me. But overall, the experience here was really good. I would definitely come back next time I visit Granville Island.
google avatar

Eric H.

Yelp
The garlic fried kale and hash are my favorite. The ice americano is freshing. The second floor space is very relaxing. In the Nairobi game it's easy to find a free 3 hours parking space in the Granville Island area.
google avatar

Alex P.

Yelp
Hours listed are wrong. Doors were wide open at 8, listed hours online say 830, they claim they don't open until 9. Until they get their story straight, I wouldn't trust a restaurant run this sketchily. If they don't know what time they open, they probably don't know what food is or isn't expired.
google avatar

Sima A.

Yelp
I've been patronizing this little gem of a cafe for many years now, but most likely will not be coming back after today, at least not to have any hot meal. When I came in this rainy early afternoon, there was one person in line ahead of me. I placed my order for Tracks Scramble, I was starved, I didn't expect that my meal would arrive the whole 35 min later. There were lots of other customers who came after me and they all were getting their meals. When I asked, the kitchen staff tried to explain that my meal took much longer to prepare than anything else - you will laugh your head off if you look at attached photo. After my husband bitterly complained they actually came out to apologize and offered my money back, too little too late. That cash went back into their tip jar because it was not from management but from the poor confused guy in the kitchen. Too bad, I used to really like this place a lot.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
Great place down one of the side strips at Granville Island. Popped in here for a meetup of old University buddies and wasn't disappointed. Lots of space with additional seating upstairs and outside. Fairly good layout, but depending on the direction the line goes it can interfere with the area to pickup your order. Runs like a well oiled machine when there are people at both the tills, but the seating space definitely fills up quickly on a Saturday. Only had the chance to order a Matcha Latte, but one person in our party swore by the food; will have to try it next time I'm down in this area.
google avatar

Brad S.

Yelp
Not quite sure why this business has a menu Because everything on it they don't have You ask for soup no soup you ask for a wrap that is on the menu and this cashier lady just looks at ya like You are purple with three heads Then point blankly and quite rudely states nope don't have that either Hint if you are in the business if serving food to the public and have a menu. 1) make sure you have good to serve 2) find staff that is not so rude and out of it
google avatar

Wesley R.

Yelp
Kinda pricey but worth it. Stumbled upon this place and decided to check out the breakfast. I ordered the burrito and my girlfriend ordered the veggie scramble. We were amazed at the quality of the food. Everything was so delicious. We also ordered a cup of joe and we were given free refills to go. It was a cold rainy day so we definitely appreciated it in the bus ride home. Cool place to be, a lot of hip young people here. I'm excited to come back and try some more items off the menu.
google avatar

J A.

Yelp
Stopped in on a rainy Saturday for a cappuccino. Place was full, found a couple seats at a large table upstairs. Cappuccinos were well crafted by a good barista. Seemed a great place for good coffee.
google avatar

Todd K.

Yelp
Off the Tracks is a welcoming cafe snug in Granville Island, good to start off the day or have a nice brunch here. With its extensive menu, it includes a Chef's board of brunch items, whatever you fancy the soups, poutines, and sandwiches. I enjoy the Happy Hour beer while getting some work done. The layout is designed with a lot of natural light coming in. A nice side patio to enjoy on summer days. Every time I come here its always been sunny (good omen!), and I am sure its good on a rainy day too.
google avatar

Rupal R.

Yelp
Good place to pickup coffee and a quick avocado toast! There are plenty of other options too though.

Richard W.

Yelp
This place is great. Cute, clean, friendly, good food. Had breakfast there on a Tuesday when they opened at 8:30. Shaded patio - sweet.
google avatar

Yelp
Visiting from LA. Menu- 5-Sustainable and organic. Ambiance-5- great indoor/outdoor seating and cute second floor seating as well. Presentation and taste-4-Everything delish, just a tad on the salty side. People with hypertension beware! Also, my kale potatoes did not have as much kale as previously pictured potatoes which depicts inconsistent cooking. I actually was looking forward to that dish so I was disappointed. Service-2-you have to get up and get your own stuff. Maybe slightly understaffed too, because when I got up to get a refill on my coffee. Wasn't able to get anybodies attention. I ended up getting selfserve water there so I could wash down my salty potatoes.
google avatar

Katherine M.

Yelp
Had the chorizo tacos, which were absolutely delicious. I was also very pleased to find that they had a small selection of gluten-free desserts. The lemon tarts were so good I had a second one. Also enjoyed the little patio, which is off the beaten path just enough to make for a pleasant experience. The menu was a little small, but to be expected for a place this size.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
Our favourite go to breakfast joint in Vancouver! No lines, great food and decent prices, easy to bring kids to and excellent coffee! Gluten free options make it even better (gluten free bagels etc)
google avatar

Chris J.

Yelp
Been here quite a few times - really love their selection of food and the coffee is quite nice.
