St. Croix Island in the Caribbean Has Beautiful Beaches, Charming Hotels, and Incredible Scuba Diving

"A world-renowned scuba diving site where a dramatic underwater wall plunges to extreme depths — reported in excess of 13,000 feet — and hosts abundant marine life and striking coral formations, attracting experienced divers seeking big-wall underwater experiences." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. Great place to see the sunset. Yes they have food and drinks too. But I don't remember much other than the sunset. That and the $80 bill for 2 people that don't drink. Well, I had 1 beer but that was because they did not have iced tea??? Waitress was friendly and helpful but seemed overwhelmed at the dinner rush. Expect a little bit of a wait. But, what a view while you wait.

Everything was fantastic! While I would describe the food as simple or basic, it still felt fitting for the setting. The breathtaking views combined with the charming beachside restaurant atmosphere truly elevated the experience. There’s something magical about being there at sunset, with the vibrant colors reflecting off the water and the gentle sound of waves in the background. It's the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal, making it a delightful place to unwind. 🌇

Off the Wall is a great spot on Cane Bay. On a recent trip, we enjoyed Off the Wall twice for lunch. The location is right on the water and the bar has a great selection. The food was excellently prepared. The staff was attentive and offered suggestions for drinks and food. The BLT was amazing.

Lovely seaside bar and grill tucked away on the northwestern side of the island. The Surf n Turf burger was good. I popped in for a late lunch. The place looks like a great time during the sunset and evening and will go back. Very close to a beautiful snorkeling beach.

Calzones were delicious! Setting is spectacular. We enjoyed our visit during the sunset and man….its something. You’re watching the waves and soaking in the views. Our drinks were excellent. The bartender was great and chatted with us while we enjoyed our evening. The only complaint I have is that there were the little bugs starting to bite as the sun went down. No worries though, the bartender provided us with OFF, and we were back in business. (It’s an outdoor bar, c’est la vie). Service is slower than what you find stateside, but you’re in island time and it’s really nice to slow down and enjoy the moment. We will be back

Food was good. Got the hot breath burger and mac and cheese (get the beans as MC was fair) and burger was good not a preprocessed patty it was scratch, and other couple got onion rings (very good btw) and smash burger with black beans / rice was good. Drinks were good $14 for frozen and $6 beer. Atmosphere was great as right next to ocean with beautiful very view. Staff very nice and checks up on you.

We recently spent two weeks in St. Croix and our favorite bar and casual dining restaurant was by far Off the Wall located in Cane Bay! While there we tried several appetizers and sandwiches and everything was delicious. We especially enjoyed the Smash burgers, the Mahi Caesar Wrap, Blackened Shrimp Tacos....and great Onion Rings! In addition to the food, we loved the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the view was spectacular! A must stop for lunch or dinner.

The blackened mahi sandwich was delicious. The bun was a hearty roll and the fish portion was bigger than the roll. They now have build a large deck for the dining area. No more “toes in the sand” and no more picnic tables. Everyone gets a chair with a back. The deck has a roof, so no more running from the rain. All good things!
