We really enjoyed lunch here Good food, good spot. A little more expensive than elsewhere in Naples. Difficult online menu makes choosing time consuming.

Officina del Mare earned its spot on my list of must-visit places in Naples years ago, and it has never failed to impress. The quality and detail of the dishes are consistently magnificent, and the warm, engaging staff always make the experience memorable. Exquisite fish and seafood restaurant with extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. We had a delicious meal here today. We felt very comfortable. It was worth the visit and the price. Thank you!

When you Google "tourist trap" a picture of this place should come up! How do I begin?? The prices are outrageous for the quality of the food. We ordered the Spaghetti and clams, it was tasteless, bland and small portion for 28EUR. They charge 7EUR for water without gas. The Calamari fritto was ok. All night and we had to ordered water from 3 different people, they were all running like chickens without head. I would definitely stay away from this place. You can get better food, better service and better service anywhere in Italy!! Response follow up: Quality ingredients doesn't mean quality meal. Your food is bad for the price. If it was good I'll say that, I stand by my honest review and people reading this can make their own decisions. You are a tourist trap and many other reviewers say the same. Based on your response I'll be afraid to even sit at this restaurant. God forbid if one's complains in person might end up sleeping with the fishes. Arrivederci e buona fortuna!

Excellent and fresh seafood, we had raw starters and the fritto misto as main - the staff was attentive and very friendly to talk to. Have been here a few years already and that’s why we came back

It was the best pasta with shrimps🫶 so delicious fresh and just amazing! On the picture it’s just one shrimp on the top but inside there’s a lot of peeled shrimps as well! So shrimp pasta is a must try! Perfect with sparkling rose wine 🫶

Wish we had read the reviews. The salmon and the octopus are tasteless. The dessert options are good. Not really with a view of the water. Service is shoddy at best. The cook really needs to learn how to cook fish. Fish is unforgiving and precise time is needed for best cooking and taste. Plus add some sauces and condiments to the fish - it was bland. So many better opportunities in Napoli.

Had a great time coming here with a friend. From start to finish we had great service and fantastic wine. Every dish was well thought out and delicious. I want to come back here next time I am in Napoli.

Fresh and well prepared seafood with great service and an excellent wine list make this a perfect spot for your Neapolitan seafood dinner. The setting is as wonderful as it is traditional. Officina del Mare should be at the top of your list.

Food was fresh and delicious! Staff was friendly and helpful. There is outside seating and was a lovely night. A staff member from Grand Hotel Parker's recommended this place. She said it was where locals go and we were NOT disappointed. Would def go back if in Napoli again.

Outstanding! This place was recommended by a good friend that owns and make wine in Italy Madonna Del Latte .... It totally lived up to its recommendation... I only wish that we had ordered the liquid nitrogen prawns! Looked amazing!

Excellent établissement. C'est trés bon et la présentation est là. Nous avons choisi le poisson que nous allions diné. Il a été préparé en fonction de nos souhaits. La spécialité est apparemment un plat de fritures que beaucoup d'italiens prenaient. Pensez à réserver pour diner, ce restaurant est trés fréquenté.

Avoid this place! Terrible terrible service!!! I can't emphasize how terrible the waiters are! From the moment my husband and I walked in we asked for a table of 3 to include our 7 year old. The woman in the entrance said "no" and we were confused like "no" what does that mean we can't sit? It was strange.. then another short guy comes out and says "don't listen to her she's crazy" At that point we should have walked out! Honestly we just wanted to have some drinks and order appetizers. When we told the waiter who was this big hefty rude guy that our son wasn't going to eat it's as if he got upset and then took our menus and slammed them as he removed them! It was such an awkward experience. Then we saw the waiter walks towards the front and complain to the same woman who said "no" it seems like he was upset we were only ordering two drinks and one dish to share!! We ordered the grilled octopus which seemed decent but we couldn't even enjoy our meal because the waiter had a terrible attitude!!! Then we asked for the check within seconds of getting our dish because my son was tired and wanted to leave! Once we got our plate, we asked for the check from another waiter as our rude hefty waiter was not around. When we asked for the check! We got the worst dirty look from the water who called the manager to check us out. The manager was the same guy who said "don't listen to her she's crazy" he too seemed bothered we asked for the check! Basically this place is a joke with the worst service ever.., we came to Naples to experience the food and culture and it's disappointing the restaurant creates a bad version of Naples! I have a group of friends who will be traveling to Naples and I have warned them as well as our hotel that we stayed in to not refer anyone visiting out of seas to this terrible place! So many other better options!

Holy cow! The best meal I've had in town so far. Ordered the fresh linguini with seafood and peppered mussels. I squeezed the juice of two half lemons over my mussels and next thing I know, I'm slurping up the juice with half a mussel shell. The linguini is amazing! Full of flavor and robust in clams and mussels. Delish! Try this spot. Have a cold glass of their champagne with it.

A bit pricy for what you get. Seafood is good but not great. There might be better options in the area.
