It’s one of the best places to enjoy fika, great coffee, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They don’t offer Wi-Fi because they encourage real conversations — an idea I really liked. Students also get a 10% discount on their orders.

Ofvandahls Hovkonditori is an absolute gem in Uppsala. It’s a charming, historic café with a cozy atmosphere and incredibly kind staff. I discovered it thanks to a friend, and I’m so glad I did. The pastries and cakes are delicious, and they also make seasonal treats for Easter, Christmas, and other special occasions. It feels like a true Swedish experience, both in the flavors and the ambiance. If you’re looking for something local and authentic, this is definitely the place to go.

Delicious pastries and tasty coffee in a historical coffee house. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable but they add to the experience. Definitely worth a visit when in Uppsala.

I ordered a princess cake for my birthday and it was delicious and so beautiful. All my friends loved it and I received so many compliments! The staff was great. Very helpful and accommodating, especially when I had to change the order to a larger size. Highly recommend!

Nowhere near as bad as the other reviews imply, but not great either. Rather overpriced for average baked goods with perfectly decent flavor. Most buns and pastries were just too puffy and perhaps a bit stale, but tasted ok. They have loose-leaf tea, which is a nice plus. Prices are steep, yeah, but I think you're paying for the location.

This place charges random prices. I have been there four times and asked for the same thing each time. The prices have varied by as much as 100%. I complained about it today and the guy just blew me off. Go if you want, but keep in mind that you might be getting screwed by an unscrupulous operator.

Really dirty and run down place. Forks are not properly washed; so you can taste the previous guy's food. They never clean the seats or the floor. Avoid!
