Agree with all the good reviews - ÓGA is an absolute gem on a residential street in Asuncion. I had Negroni for cocktail to start the evening followed by an awesome appetizer and steak as the main course with white wine. I rarely eat dessert but in this occasion I did! Everything was freshly prepared and with lot of care and attention. From the ambiance to the service to the meal -everything was A+. The gentleman serving me was polite, kind and professional. And oh not to mention the house cats that add to the ambience of a homey experience! I will be back for sure!

rustic and homely ambiance with quirky lofi music. server was very cool, cut elote in half since we had more people. a bit more time than usual to get food. interesting /niche decor. surubi had amazing crust and was melting in mouth. mushroom sauce in gnochi dish was super buttery; tasted like liquid gold. cute cats roaming around the place.

A gem of Asuncion. Had dinner here more than once. Everything was to my liking, but the quality of food outshines other things I can say about this place. Had the spicy corn and the beef meat, with a Malbec, just perfect. It's crowded sometimes, and I don't like the reservation system they have on instagram. There are too many questions, but when you get there, it's worth it!

We went with friends to discover this place. It's was better than expected. Dinner was amazing and the environment is really cozy. I'd recommend going with a partner because it has a romantic vibe to it. We had lots of dishes and here I'd say, just try everything. Best was Bondiola and arroz kesu, and dessert: churros with yerba mate caramel. Just mind blowing! It has all these Paraguayan inspired style, and that makes it authentic. Experimental chic would be the best way to describe it. It is expensive, which was expected. Suggestion: make a reservation beforehand.

Ridiculously delicious. This was by far the best dining experience we had in Asunción. The ceviche starter was outstanding (though all the other starters were tasty too)! For mains, we had the fish and the aubergine milanesa – both were full of flavour and clearly made with top-quality ingredients. Service was excellent (our waiter helped us pick a great wine) and we were very grateful to have met the owners, Romi and Beto, who were super friendly and clearly care about every detail. The whole place has this warm, welcoming vibe that feels like home but still really stylish and well thought out. Also, the cocktails were veeeery tasty and really creative. Highly recommend. Can't wait to come back in our next visit to Paraguay! 😋

The fish and ojo de bife were absolutely delicious, and the cauliflower risotto was interesting and tasty. The corn on the cob appetizer had a good flavor but it was difficult to actually get the kernels off the cob. The cornmeal products (ojo de bife accompaniment and sopa paraguaya -like appetizer) were a little bland. Ojo de bife size was small, and we went to a second dinner afterwards so that a member of our party would feel satisfied. Overall atmosphere was comfortable. Our server was fine but did not exude enthusiasm.

This place was worth coming to for a more creative take on local food. The restaurant is small (only 5-6 tables, and mostly for couples) so reservations are required. I liked the chipa guasu with boursin cheese and the desserts!
