I went there for 3 nights.
Only good point : the view on the main beach of El Nido.
Otherwise that’s one of the worst place I’ve been to in the Philippines so far (for similar budgets).
- the staff clearly doesn’t care about you some even are haughty.
- the WiFi does not work (at all), and not “sometimes” as one may tell you at the desk. Luckily the only one person of the staff who wasn’t too useless gave us access to the diving club WiFi that you can use only from the stairs or the table nearby with a very poor quality.
- we paid for a room with a private bathroom, well the water didn’t work for the first two nights. First excuse was it was probably since shared among the other people. Alright. The following day still not working so we went to a staff member in the morning to ask them to fix it while we were out. Obviously when we came back, nobody had fixed anything. So we went back to the staff who came in the room even if it was pretty late and my girlfriend already in bed. He tried to fix the shower with a fork and decided that it was working even if the water would barely come out.
For some reason the water worked normally on our last morning but they refused to consider the fact we had to use the shared bathroom for all this time and preferred to tell us to come back later to talk to the management which i suspect was in the building at that moment, but, you know when you are a tourist you can not really come back later once you left, so why would you even bother doing anything for your guests if you never see them again.
- oh and I forget the breakfast, tasteless.
- also it would have been a minor detail or even normal but you gotta pay to refill your water at the most expensive price we have seen in the Philippines, so it’s a bit spicy when the service does suck that much.
