"Bantayan Island, quieter version of Boracay Bantayan Island's fine white sand beaches and clear light blue waters are as enchanting as far busier Boracay, minus the noise and go go go night life. The island's Ogtong Cave Resort offers a well-kept landscaped garden, a pool, and individual cottages, but the real draw is a cave below the resort grounds, where you can explore and wade in the waters. Rooms at the resort are simple and comfortable. The resort offers doubles up to family rooms with plenty of room for kids. There are two pools on the ground, with one reserved for resort guests. The usual jump off point is Cebu, a one-hour flight away from Metro Manila. You then take an almost 3-hour bus ride from North Terminal to Hagnaya for a 75-minute boat to Santa Fe, Bantayan. You can also opt to take a private van or taxi for a more comfortable and faster ride. Don't be put off by the long travel time--the beach, cave, and everything else at the resort are well worth what it takes to get there."

Nice place, the cave was pretty nice. Not too busy when we showed up around 11am as we were leaving there was a lot more people. There's a pretty nice pool as well and some tables near the water. Entry was ₱300 per person. I'd say it's worth it for a few hours.

We planned to just visit cave but stayed for pool time & ocean pics. It's small private resort with guard at gate so have to pay entry fees. They sell floaters and water shoes if needed. Visited on Wed morning so not crowded at all in cave or at pool. Only pool has loungers to layout. No beach at high tide but picnic tables & chairs are around area. Had nice lunch and bought smoothies at pool tiki bar. Showers worked and bathrooms had toilet paper so we would return if we wanted another pool day. There was litter around ocean parts and still some construction happening so please do better job at maintaining cleanliness. It goes a long way with tourists. The cave is nice to check out but wasn't main appeal. We enjoyed the scenery & pool the most.

Beautiful place but disappointed with beachfront cleanliness Ogtong Cave Resort has a lot of potential — the cave is stunning, the pool is relaxing, and the overall property is well-maintained. However, I was really disappointed by the condition of the beachfront. There was noticeable trash along the shore: plastic bottles, food wrappers, and other litter scattered in the sand and near the water. It takes away from the beauty of the area and affects the overall experience. For a resort that charges decent rates, I expected better maintenance of the beachfront. I hope the management takes this seriously and implements more regular cleanups or signs encouraging guests to dispose of waste properly. This place could be even more amazing with a clean and cared-for shoreline. I’d still recommend a visit — especially for the cave — but I do hope to see improvement in beachfront cleanliness next time.

We stayed at Ogtong Cave Resort and really enjoyed the peaceful vibe. The villa was nice and spacious, and we loved how the resort is surrounded by lots of green spaces and landscaped areas—it’s really relaxing and quiet. One great perk is their free shuttle service to and from the port, which made things super convenient. Just a heads up though, the resort is a bit far from the main tourist spots and restaurants, so renting a motorcycle is ideal if you plan to go in and out often. If you don’t ride motorcycles, no worries—tricycles are always waiting outside, especially since a lot of day tour guests visit the resort for the cave. Our only small complaint is the pool hours—it’s only open from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM for checked-in guests, and until 6:00 PM for day tour visitors. We wish it stayed open a little later, especially for those staying overnight. Overall, it’s a lovely and chill place to stay if you’re looking for peace, greenery, and a relaxing island experience.

We just stay for the Ogtong Cave and sightseeing from their beach front. There still upgrading the other facilities like restrooms and pathway. Overall experience for the cave is great

Very disappointed about Santa Fe Beach Club Octong Cave Resort. Came with a 2 Family group with kids. Children under 14 were not allowed to access the cave and swim there. Also the pool area was restricted for my 12 year old son. That's not acceptable. Additionally a lot of construction was going on. We left and luckily got refunded. Conclusion: might be OK for people without children.

The location is lovely but the facilities have come to some disrepair. We stayed for about 4 days but we didn’t spend time in their pool or near their beach. The staff is clearly not well trained — the whole island is, truthfully. It might be good if the government can sponsor some workshops to improvement the people’s understanding of service in the tourism and hospitality industries.

We went there as guest. We paid 150 for the entrance fee. It used to be 250 though but they reduced the EF since their pool is being renovated. The cave is stunning the first time we saw it. But eventually, you would realize, "that's it?". After taking photos in the cave, we decided to take a nap in the bench to kill the time. I could say that it was a pleasant stay. They have milktea and mango shake bar inside. It taste good in reasonable price.
