Ogtong Cave Resort

During my recent escape to Bantayan Island, I had the pleasure of staying at Ogtong Cave Resort, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Nestled in lush greenery, the resort felt like a secluded paradise. The highlight, without a doubt, was the enchanting cave. Stepping into the cool, crystal-clear waters was an experience unlike any other—almost mystical.||The rooms, though simple, were cozy and equipped with all the essentials. After a day of exploring, sinking into a comfortable bed with the gentle sounds of nature outside was pure bliss. The on-site restaurant served a delightful array of local and international dishes. I found myself looking forward to every meal, especially the fresh seafood!||One of my favorite spots was the pool area, perfect for a refreshing dip under the sun. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready with a smile and helpful advice on the best spots to visit on the island. The resort also offered free parking and bicycle rentals, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings.||Ogtong Cave Resort is a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, making it an ideal getaway for anyone looking to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of Bantayan Island.

My visit to Ogtong Cave in Cebu was disappointing. For the price paid, it wasn't worth the value. If you're not into swimming, there's not much to do, as the cave itself is quite small. The place was extremely crowded, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, some of the sites were still under construction, adding to the overall chaotic atmosphere. In summary, unless you're specifically looking to swim in a crowded spot, I wouldn't recommend visiting Ogtong Cave. Save your money and time for a more worthwhile destination.

Exceptional stay at Ogtong Cave Resort! Breathtaking scenery, crystal-clear waters and stunning cave views. Friendly, attentive staff ensured a seamless experience. Cozy rooms, delicious local cuisine and exciting water activities made our getaway unforgettable. Highly recommended!

FYI: The pool is currently closed and will reopen in April 2025. If access to a pool is a key part of your experience, please consider this when planning your stay. “We appreciate your understanding and patience.” Management can use this and post it on your google info to save anyone else the time wasted driving to your destination. We had nice experience here. Staff are friendly. I like how they have a pool and close to the beach which makes the location good as well. The room is spacious enough for everyone and our luggages and stuff. Overall experience here is really nice.

I Love My experience at Ogtong Cave Resort, the place was so relaxing. The staff was so accomodating, the scenery was so captivating❤️ I Will refer this resort to All My families and friends. Overall experience - very satisfied and happy with this resort

Worst meal for dinner! Steamed fish in garlic sauce- I was expecting a fillet---the waitress said it was local caught grouper- It came in marble sized pieces that tasted like rubber. OMG. WE WON'EAT THERE AGAIN. we had several meals at their sister resort on the beach and those meals were excellent, especially the Fresh caught steamed scallops! Not enough towels and worn out with holes. Paid for sea view but could only see a tiny snippet of sea from patio. No hair dryer in room and no tea pot to warm water. The Ogdong cave water Packed With people and bad smell. I could not recommend this place. I would recommend their other resort at the beach however.

Entrance fee is for P150 if you are just visiting for the cave. P225 for adults and P120 for kids if cave and using the resort's amenities. The cave is actually nice, small, and very peaceful. No one is allowed to shout, run, dive, and jump. You can also go to the beachfront of the resort.
