"Let's be honest. It's so much fun to say the name of this restaurant. Inflections aside, Oh! Calcutta undeniably has the best Bengali food in Delhi. Oh! it's delicious! Their specialty is seafood, but definitely try the Koraishutir Dhokar Dalna (lentil cakes) and papaya chutney. Oh! and be prepared to wait without a reservation."

We visited Oh! Calcutta Delhi for lunch and had a great experience. The ambiance felt warm and classy with a touch of Bengali heritage. The food was really flavourful and reminded us of proper homemade Bengali cooking but with a fine-dining touch. The highlight dishes were the fish and the kosha mangsho, both cooked perfectly with balanced spices. The biryani was aromatic and rich. The desserts, especially sondesh options, were the perfect finish. The staff was courteous, guided us well and ensured everything was served fresh and warm. The only thing to keep in mind is that the prices are on the higher side, but the experience and food quality make it worth it. If you love Bengali food or want to try it the right way, Oh! Calcutta is definitely worth visiting.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oh! Calcutta truly lives up to its name — an absolute treat for anyone who loves authentic Bengali cuisine! Every dish bursts with rich, traditional flavors and the perfect blend of spices. From the mouth-watering fish curries to the soft luchis and delectable desserts, everything tastes homemade yet premium. The ambience is elegant, service is top-notch, and the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome. A must-visit for anyone craving a true taste of Bengal! 🌶️🍤🥭

Oh! Calcutta delivers an authentic Bengali dining experience that goes beyond just food, immersing you in the rich heritage of Bengal. The moment you step in, your eyes are drawn to the beautiful Bengali paintings adorning the walls — vibrant depictions of riverside scenes, busy Kolkata streets, and glimpses of traditional Bengali life. These artworks add warmth to the atmosphere and make the dining space feel like a cultural journey. The cuisine is a true celebration of Bengal’s culinary treasures. From fragrant luchis to hearty kosha mangsho, every dish is prepared with attention to traditional flavors. But the undisputed star is the Ilish Bhapa — tender hilsa fish steamed to perfection in a subtle mustard sauce. The fish’s natural richness blends exquisitely with the pungent mustard, creating a dish that’s both delicate and deeply flavorful. With attentive service, elegant presentation, and an ambiance steeped in Bengal’s artistic and cultural charm, Oh! Calcutta stands out as a destination not just for a meal, but for a taste of tradition at its finest.

Good Bengali food but not sublime. And for the money and all the hype, one hoped it would be sublime. Being a Bengali myself, didn’t eat anything there that I couldn’t have replicated to the exact same level at home. And that is disappointing especially when you consider how skilled the chef must be there.

The atmosphere was really good The staff was very warm and helful, they even helped us with our order. The pomfret we ate had a strong mustard flavour and was fishy . It's something for hardcore seafood lovers. Overall a really good experience

Whether a Bengali or not, just go and enjoy the culinary experience. From the best to the plates, we had lovely time-with food, chatters, and the nonstop service. Lovely and warm ambience gives you the right balance of old Calcutta and new Kolkata - also don’t miss the special festival menu - we had the banana flower Iliish starter - Amazing

The experience in this outlet was really great. We visited here during Durga pujo and the a-la-carte option was not there so we opted for buffet which was a bit pricy. Our non veg buffet option was around ₹2,500 per person. The fish fry and other items were mind blowing, but the mutton was not that great as it was expected. Overall a great experience to say the least and the location in Greater Kailash is really in a prime location. Totally recommend it for everyone to get great bengali food if they are missing their homes.

Failed to impress. Average tasting food. Ambience wasn't pleasant either. Quite noisy. Have been to Oh Calcutta in Kolkata as well as Bangalore before and enjoyed the experience. But here, not quite so.
