Highlights

Nestled by the Dead Sea, O Beach Resort offers spacious rooms and stunning views, but its charm is overshadowed by a need for renovations and upkeep.

"Oh Beach Hotel & Resort Restaurant The Dead Sea makes a perfect day trip from Amman, Madaba, or even Aqaba if you have your own wheels, but finding somewhere to eat once you’re there is surprisingly difficult. Enter the restaurant at Oh Beach Hotel & Resort, which sits slightly south of the main hotel strip and has a laid-back but luxurious vibe. Non-guests must purchase a ticket (around $30) to enter the resort, but they then have access to the private beach, pools, and changing rooms as well as lunch at the restaurant, which serves delicious Jordanian fare and a few international dishes. There’s also a licensed bar on-site."

Reception staff quite rude, rooms not clean. However, the staff at the bar really good and friendly. The only good thing about this place was the location, it’s absolutely beautiful. I will return and hope that the reception staff will have been trained.

We were upgrade to a better room with sea view upon check and hotel is awesome. We had a delicious Arbibata Pasta. Some of the staff are unable to speak at all which hindered the effective communication. The breakfast buffet is dull and food were not delicious. When we requested a pot of milk steward gave us a one which is cold. We had to ask him to change it later. Highly unprofessional manner. Shower cubicle was too small which a major problem.

Full disclosure, only went here because "resorts" like this are the only real way to access the Dead Sea. So it was 20JOD, around 30USD for a day pass and it was a rip off. The towels we were provided were rather worn out and threadbare. The whole place was very run down. Tiles falling off the walls. Just neglected generally. The swimming pool had many tiles missing from the bottom, and poolside bar was not open. No hot showers available. Staff too busy smoking and using phones to care for customers. I can't compare this place to other resorts in the area, but I'd suggest paying a few extra JD and spend your money elsewhere. This place sucks.

You can see their sign board right outside as you drive by. Free parking for visitors! Our room came with a great sea view and we were very happy! Room is very spacious, there is a clothes hanging line and hair dryer in the bathroom. (Some room may be a bit dusty as it wasn’t occupied for a while due to the war, but the cleaner cleaned the room for us again before we move in) The beach itself was veryyyy spectacular. You literally can see salt formations and the water is very clear. They also provide Dead Sea mud for you to apply on yourself before going into the water. There is lunch or dinner buffet for 14 JOD, but we opt for the ala carte option instead. Food portion was huge. There’s also a little gift shop that sells souvenirs and Dead Sea product. Mohammed, who man the shop is very friendly and helpful. The staff of this hotel is also very friendly. We loved the breakfast and the sea view!

O Beach’s best days are behind it! There is no reason to go to this place. Everything is either falling apart or has already fallen apart. The bathrooms/changing rooms make you want to take a shower after being in them. The pool (what’s left of it), is falling apart. Half the tiles in the pool are missing, making it easy to cut yourself. They played music so load it was hearting my ears. After multiple failed requests for them to turn down the music, we ended up leaving (after only one hour). And the rest of the hotel/resort has already fallen into such bad disrepair that it’s been quarantined off. All the negative things in the other comments are all true. I give this O Beach a score of 0 out of ten. It’s embarrassing that it’s still open.

Nice hotel. I stayed 5 days and went almkst everyday downstairs to the beach, float and have natural mask on my body. I really like it. The rooms are spacious, good enough with everything you need. Service is also good.

This hotel does not cater for disabled guests. There are steps everywhere but no ramps, and to get to the beach there were 18 flights of stairs with 10-12 steps in each flight, impossible for anyone with mobility issues, I either had to move to another hotel or stay in my room for a fortnight. I moved to another hotel after 3 nights and requested a refund for the unused part of my stay. The hotel manager said at first that they didn't do refunds, then he said he would refund 50% . Then strangely he wanted me to pay 50% s o he could refund 100% this made absolutely no sense to me. After contacting Booking.com I eventually obtained a full refund, so although I gave the hotel a low score I can totally recommend Booking.com

I kinda regret staying in the hotel, unfortunately. As a traveler, I wanted to enjoy Dead Sea and thought it was a good idea to stay there for a night, but I guess poor management makes it a not interesting place to stay. The room was good, but if you are lucky to get an upstairs one, otherwise you won’t have neither view nor privacy. They have what I would call, with all due respect, a dumb rule, to close the pool a second after sunset, which makes no sense at all. You pay about $100 for a night and besides the room, you have nothing else to do after sunset. You pay 20JD and have the same things to do, besides the room. Was definitely not worth, although the workers are very friendly. Also the pool looks really nice in the pictures, but honestly I can’t imagine it a nice place if the hotel is full. I really don’t mean to sound bitter, but this place needs new management If you want to enjoy Dead Sea, perhaps the day use is a good option.
