Ohakune TOP 10 Holiday Park

We came in late February when the park was not busy. Our powered site was No 33 and backed into a stream and a spacious and quiet plot. The toilets and showers were 1st class. The showers last 7 minutes and are extremely powerful. The shower cubicle has automatic lighting and heating. The kitchen like everything else are spotless and modern. There is a short 2 minute woodland walk to the town centre which just makes this park near on perfect.

Booked a camp site and tented here for 2 days during the summer. Location is great and walking distance to town plus other nearby walks/trails. Facilities and grounds were immaculate. Bathroom, kitchens, Spa pool and TV Room/Lounge were tidy, clean and a joy to use. Michelle one of the staff there, was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting.

Booked this 2 nights and it has well maintained bathrooms, kitchen - so many options like airfryers, ovens, grills, gas, induction and many more. Bathrooms are very well maintained and facilities wise it ia top notch. Children can spend most of their time in playgrounds . For toddlers they have a room with some toys to get engaged. There is a family bathroom near to the kitchen and laundry room.

Great campground in Ohakune. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely sites. They offer the hire of a private bath or spa for a very reasonable price. Clean and tidy bathrooms with lovely hot showers all the facilities that would expect at a top10

We stayed for two nights in a self-contained campervan. We had a great spot under a tree and beside the creek which was a pleasant surprise - we enjoyed the calming sound of the creek water running by. The facilities were very clean and tidy and in very good condition. A short 5-10 minute walk to the town centre. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem. Tucked into a sheltered corner of town and walking distance for supplies or eating out. The sites are nice and mostly flat. Friendly staff. Good laundry facilities but the star is the bathroom. Free 7 minutes of hot shower, heating, heated towel rail!!! Would be great summer or winter.

Great view of the mountain. Top notch facilities (towel warmer and a heating lamp in the shower!) and squeaky clean. Kitchen is likewise great with fast and furious induction cookers. Expensive, yet not overpriced.

Friendly and helpful staff. Outstanding showers and clean bathrooms. Best designed dump station in New Zealand. Easy walk into town.
