The worst service,the worst hotel that charges a luxury hotel price.First of all, you make a reservation, they accept it and take the money from your card and then on the day of check in they send you a private message telling you that they are canceling your reservation. so you are left without money and on the streets. The worst service in all of Sweden. if you want to experience something like this then make a reservation at this scam "hotel".

I made a reservation through Booking.com and shortly after received this message: “Hello, Due to invalid (address), something that violates our booking terms, we unfortunately have to decline your reservation. /Team Ohboy” No further explanation was provided, and they did not respond to any of my messages, even though the booking remained active. Since I made the reservation for the holiday period, I didn’t want to risk being one of those unhappy customers left without accommodation. I never ended up using the hotel’s services, and I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. The service is extremely poor.

I had a very negative experience at Ohboy Hotel in June 2025. I was unable to check in upon arrival. The doors were locked, no one was available, and no one responded to my messages or calls. When I finally entered, I was unexpectedly locked inside the building for several hours with no help or response. I contacted both the hotel and Booking.com multiple times afterwards but received no explanation or refund. The experience was unsafe and extremely disappointing. I do not recommend this hotel. The stuff is unprofessional and really not respectful they just ignore me so if you happen to be trapped there you are on your own. I have never encountered such a bad service and such safety negligence in my life. I travel frequently and have stayed in multiple places that kind of breach of safety did never happen to me nowhere.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in this hotel for 12 nights; room number 129. The positives: I liked that we had our own kitchen and the walk to the nearest super market for groceries wasn't far. The bed was decent and the shower, toilet and kitchen were fairly clean. Loved the self check in and how relatively straight forward it was. The wifi was pretty fast which I needed for work. Recommendations for the location: I would replace the kitchen utensils because most of it was pretty banged up. The bike was okay but a bit too small for my height. The negatives: for such a long period, I wouldn't really recommend staying, and this is purely because of the service. In those 12 nights the place was only cleaned once, which is quite bad. My towels were never cleaned which is not the best. On top of it, I felt like the room wasn't properly cleaned in a long while as we did find some nasty things that the previous owners left behind between the single bed and the wall. We only found out because my girlfriend was missing something.

There is nothing bad to say against the apartment itself, it is good value for the money compared to other Malmö accomodations, I actually liked it's minimalist concrete charm.|The only thing I really didn't like is the bike that came with the apartment. As the place is calling itself "cykelhotel", I expected a bike that would be ready for use during my four days stay in Malmö. The bike was in such a bad shape though that it was rather an annoyance than a help. The chain kept falling off the sprockets, the front brake repeatedly blocked the front wheel, the right pedal kept flipping under my foot and the tires where semi flat. I looked through the rows of bikes in front if the apartments and realized that they were all more or less desolate. Please, Ohboy Hotell, either fix those bikes or drop the "cykelhotel" claim, raising false expectations in potential guests.

We stayed here for one night, arriving late and leaving early. I do feel that the directions to the rooms could be better signposted, but once we had located our room, everything was straight forward. You can't really call the rooms cozy, but they work. The space is very cleverly designed and contains just about everything you could need. There was three of us and the room worked well for all of us. There's free coffee and tea in the kitchen area, which was a nice touch, especially as the coffee wasn't of the instant kind. The WiFi is easy to connect to and worked. I can see this being a good base to explore the city from and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time I find myself in Malmö.

What a brilliant place! Close to the beach and the skate and wake park - perfect for active people! For everything further away you can use the bike that comes with the apartment. Impeccable service, and very helpful when we had an emergency situation with an allergic reaction 🙏🏽 we will come again!
