I have been doing Yin Yoga & Sound Baths for over 10 years. The course instructor began the course by saying that she had taught all over the world, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, she didn't even know the difference between point and flex, and repeatedly emphasised in the pigeon position how important it was to flex the feet, even though you can and must clearly only point in this pose! At the same time, the sound was very unsettling. It didn't seem like a well-thought-out melodic sequence, but rather like random striking of various singing bowls. Dethrones was used much too heavily, creating a thunderous and gloomy atmosphere instead of a relaxed mood for hypnosis.
