Ohøj Coffee Roasting

A roastery that serves coffee on the weekends (Fr-Su). Don’t expect a café that serves you quickly, the owner likes to have a chat about the coffee with the customers. It’s a great experience if you really like coffee. No light roasts served there, but that’s ok.

This is even beyond 5 stars. It's a blessing to have a such nice coffee place nearby. Seriously, they got the best coffee I ever had in the NL. The owner is always passionate and energetic.

What a great place. The atmosphere is cozy and frantic at the same time. It was a great pleasure to watch the barista perform his art while controlling the line and trying to talk to everyone. Great locally roasted coffee as well. Well be back soon!

Great place, lovely person helping us. Came in for an espresso, unfortunately the machine was not working so instead received a free normal coffee. Shows the atmosphere here. 5 stars

Very nice coffee in a lovely place and the owner was really friendly. Recently there was an update in the service. You can have latte, cappuccino, etc. only in the weekends. During the week he only serves black coffee (you can ask for milk in it).

We had a very nice time at this little coffee roaster. The barista is very friendly and talkative and likes to share his knowledge about coffee with you and gives wonderful advice on his different beans even if he is pretty busy preparing coffee. We tried two different beans in the café and took another one with us home and all tasted really good. Together with the really fair prizes Ohøj is absolutely recommendable and worth a visit for everyone who likes good coffee and is around town. We'll definitely come back if we're in the area again. Best specialty coffee in town, by far. Amazing selection of different coffees for espresso, drip, or latte, freshly roasted each Monday by the owner.

Truly excellent coffee in a newly-opened shop in Rivierenwijk. Very friendly, English-speaking owner who roasts his own coffee on site, and is passionate about his craft. The latte he served me was the best I've ever had, and I've had quite a few. Right next door to the Lorenzo ice cream shop, which makes for a nice pairing. Definitely worth a visit.
