We visited this place today with our team after it was recommended to us by friends.
Overall, I was very disappointed with the service. I asked the barista right away what coffee they had available for pour-overs, and she started explaining the flavor notes. In my opinion, when someone asks what’s available, it makes more sense to first mention the origin, processing method, and roaster, and only then talk about the flavors.
I also found it quite odd and slightly amusing that after I chose the coffee, I was reminded that it wouldn’t come with sugar or cream. Since I initiated the conversation and specifically asked about pour-overs, it should have been clear that I understand what alternative coffee is.
Additionally, after we ordered our coffee, we went downstairs to wait. Only then did a staff member come over and tell us that outside cups are not allowed in the café, without even asking what was in them. We only had water and no other drinks, but because of this, most of our team had to wait outside while my friend and I quickly drank our coffee.
That said, the coffee itself was good — well balanced, with a nice body and pleasant aftertaste. However, because of the service, I wouldn’t return.
My rating is 3 out of 5, solely because of the quality of the coffee.
