Fun exhibition with very interesting and unique themes. This park is definitely worth a visit. Only giving it 4 stars because the robot in the first picture was not working.

Lovely venue for art and culture events, great for afternoon walk. If you wanna pause from busy life in Seoul, it's worth to visit there to take peaceful quality break.

This is probably the most unusual tourist attraction I have ever seen, I would call it a must-visit as you'll never see anything else like it! Standing inside the massive, empty oil tank is really an eerie experience. There is another tank with an immersive projected art experience, one with an art gallery, and another that has been left completely intact and can only be seen from the outside, plus a community centre and a cafe. If you like stuff that's off the beaten track, this is a site you can't miss.

Very eerie which is cool! Unfortunately everything was closed due to an upcoming exhibition…

Oil Tank Culture Parc, Seoul. Shocked from the first oil crisis 1973/74 the Seoul Metropolitan Government built these 5 tanks on the foot of Maebong Mountain to store 67.07 Million liters of petroleum to be prepared for further crisis’s. When building the World Cup stadium for 2002 the nearby oil tanks were considered to dangerous and the oil was moved to other facilities and the tanks where transformed to culture spaces ( performance hall and outdoor theatre, exhibition hall, multipurpose hall, cafeteria, library…By the way: the outside view one of the tanks is a filming location of k-action-drama RUGAL as the headquarters of the RUGAL-team.

Very nice, quiet place immersed in the nature. The lovely Café plushie friendly at Tank 6 and the mask exposition we visited at Tank 5 were very interesting. Unfortunately Tank 1~4 were closed due to maintenance works.

The park itself is quiet and inviting with lots of benches to spend some time outside as well. The exhibitions were very creative and inspiring, and the oil tank structures make for great pictures. I had a wonderful afternoon here, so I would come back again during my next visit to Seoul.
