Oishii Sushi & Pan-Asian Dallas - Wycliff Ave

This is my FAVORITE Sushi place in Dallas! I used to work off Maple and Oaklawn and we went for lunch every week. I have worked from home since 2019 and have only been once since. My fiancee and friends took me January 10 2026 for my birthday. It was amazing as always and they gave me a cute little moochie plate that was delicious. I love this place!

We went to Oishii to celebrate our Big Boss’s birthday lunch. My first time there, and it’s her favorite spot. The food was absolutely delicious, and I would highly recommend it. I ordered the salmon carpaccio, which was pure heaven in every bite. Her go to dish, the Himalayan Roll, was beautifully presented and tasted just as amazing. I will definitely go back!

My friend and I stopped by here on lunch break. I have to say the Flower Sushi was THE BEST sushi I have ever had. I grew up in Hawaii where I have had sushi my whole life. Dunno what magic they put into it... but damn yummy!

Walked in and immediately felt a little underdressed—definitely the perfect spot to take a date. I made my way over to the bar, but I have to say the mixed drinks need a little work. The Sal de Vida could use more pineapple and fresh lemon juice instead of lime. And please hold the rosemary 🙏—or at least let it float on top. When it touches the drink, it completely changes the flavor. On the food side, I tried the Himalayan roll—absolutely amazing, a must-try. Overall, the place itself is beautiful and definitely worth the visit.

Delicious fresh flavorful sushi. Ordered #44, flower and the Royce along with spicy edamame. All of the rolls were full of flavor and a great portion. It was plenty of food for two of us. The fish was fresh and service was quick.

We were introduced to Oishii by some friends. Let me preference this with, we have been going to the same sushi bar for over 20 years. We are very partial to the sushi bar we've been going to for so long because they are so good. Oishii took us by surprise, with their customer service and how fast they got our food out even though the restaurant was very busy. We have since tried three different locations, and have had the same experience at each location. The Himalayan roll is a must during your visit. There's sushi and other menu items like the orange chicken taste wonderful along with their different desserts we have tried as well.

Shocked! From the outside and the location was not expecting this place to be this good. Was the perfect place for NYE. Delicious sushi and really good PHO. Had sushi, pho and a drink still under $50 for NYE.

This place came highly recommended! And I can totally see why. Here's what we ordered: Pan-fried shrimp and pork dumplings: 10 42 roll: 10 Spicy tuna: 10 G roll: 10 Singapore noodles: 9 Everything I ordered was delicious!! Just the right portions, decently priced, and great atmosphere. I would definitely return. I already told my husband we have to have a date night there! 5/23 edit Went back with my husband for date night to try new rolls and man they did not disappoint. I only wish the flat noodles were hot had more noodles. But everything g was so tasty!

The restaurant was busy for a Monday evening. Getting seated at the open kitchen took over 10 mins, which could have been avoided. Order taking was slow given most tables were occupied. However, the food came out really quick. The food tasted great right from the appetizers to entrees. The menu is exhaustive with options for Sashimi, Sushi, rolls, pho, fried rice & more. The drinks menu offers cocktails, wines, sakes and a full bar service. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant with tables and open kitchen seating. Pricing: Moderate high for food, high for alcoholic drinks. Overall a great place for some good sushi. Definitely recommend this place.

Then sushi rolls are the best. The service is excellent. You will be surrounded by lots of people in a nice ambiance.

This is a well established restaurant with a unique menu. I love that you can eat sushi and pho at the same time! Our server Brian was great. He took his time with us and explained the menu in detail. We ordered the hot and sour soup, spring rolls, royce roll, and a grilled beef dish with rice noodles and veggies. We were definitely full afterwards but everything was yummy! The hot and sour soup wasn't as sour as it usually is but it's still good. Overall I'd love to come back here. Only set back is the restrooms were locked. I waited for some time, knocked on the doors then asked someone if anyone was in there but there wasn't. It was a little strange but I'm sure it was a one off kind of thing.

We had such a great experience at our first time dining at Oishii! Our waiter was so nice and personable, he gave us some great recommendations (yellowtail special and Thanh scallop roll). He was also very sweet and gave my daughter a coloring book to keep her occupied during our meal. Our favorite dishes were the Thanh scallop roll, Cesar roll, Roman roll and their salmon sashimi. Everything was very delicious and our friends who had dined here before also mentioned that all their rolls were equally different and delicious. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Delicious Sushi & Sushimi! Definitely in my Top 5. The Old Fashioned was delicious and our waitress was very attentive. The only negative I could think of was that they closed early for the "storm"....

Delicious sushi! Oishii is a great place for sushi. The customer service is great, with water refilled frequently. The price is a little pricey. I liked the ambiance with the aquarium. The staff is friendly.

Oishii has become my new go-to sushi spot in Dallas! I had dinner with a friend here on a Friday night and enjoyed great sushi, service, and ambiance. I ordered the M&M roll, which includes spicy tuna and tempura flakes topped with fresh tuna and salmon served with a side of spicy mayo and eel sauce, which was amazing! The sushi tasted fresh and the sauces provided paired so well with the roll. Moreover, my friend and I ordered a side of spicy edamame, which was flavored SO well and paired perfectly with the sushi. I highly recommend Oishii to anyone seeking delicious sushi in a cool, upscale setting in Dallas!

Love the sushi here!! Service was great, it does get super busy quickly so be sure to get there closer to opening time. The sushi bar is in the middle with tables on both sides of the restaurant, really cute. Our fav chef specialty roll was the thanh scallop roll, it just felt very light and refreshing.

First time experience here. Made a reservation for 645. Waited in the check in line for 8 minutes. Had contact with front desk at 6:49PM and was told there were no available seats. Would have to wait up to 20 minutes for a table. It appears that having a reservation has no benefits in obtaining seating. Sad to see that they over seat their restaurant. Will likely not return and stick with Shinsei and Uchi.

Great spot for a date night before a show at the American Airlines Center. Great location. Food was delicious, prices were fair and the menu is quite extensive. So many options! The staff were very welcoming. I recommend sitting at the tables for a darker more romantic setting. If you're wanting that traditional watch the chefs make the sushi and being more social you can opt for the bar seating. Much more well lit over there and have a livelier vibe. Bonus- parking there and paying $5 for an Uber to the AAC saves you $30 in parking.

Short hit: Must try. Added accolade: best sushi spot in Dallas IMHO. Yeah, you read that last part right. I am going above 5 stars and saying this is the best sushi restaurant in Dallas. For years, I had heard about this place, but I never came. I was happy to frequent the other more well-known establishments in the area. To be fair (not to name names), there are other restaurants with higher quality fish, but, they fall short in flavor when compared to the combinations Oishii can generate. Additionally, Oishii is VERY reasonaby priced for the quality it puts out. Not cheap by any means, but again, compared to its competitors, much easier on the wallet. Speaking of easier on the wallet, be sure to hit this place up on Wednesdays when they charge 50% less for bottles of wine. Go to items: Spicy edamame - best I've had! Ok! We're from San Diego, we have such great seafood and sushi places so while in Dallas I never even thought we would have good sushi but we were going to be here 2 weeks and I can't live without it. Well... this is probably one of the BEST sushi places I've ever been too. The fish was fresh, they bring it in fresh everyday. The place has such a cute design and upscale kind of vibe. We sat at the bar and had the best time. Our service was probably some of the best service we've had. I mean Dallas people are just kind and friendly right? No these people were fun, friendly, and made our experience over the top. Thank you to the kind staff. A special thanks to Rob and Starla and the whole staff. We will be back!

my lunch companion ordered the tuna tower and said it was wonderful. I ordered a sushi roll but unfortunately the sushi roll makers were slammed and I never got my food. Knocked off one star but our server was really nice.

Oishii has some of the BEST sushi in Dallas. Their rolls ALWAYS hit the spot and the fish they use is so buttery and fresh. I got this order to-go; the food was ready when they said it would be and was packed nicely. When we got back to the house, I did a little dance as I took a bit of each piece of sushi. Here is what I ordered and my ratings: - Spicy scallop (8/10) - Salmon avocado (9/10) - Royce roll (riceless roll) (10/10) The Royce roll was amazing... I loved the fresh lemon slice on the top with the hint of truffle. It takes the roll up a notch and is so freaking tasty! If you haven't been to this spot before, be sure to check it out... it's high quality!

The best sushi I've ever had. Think the specialty rolls averaged like $20+ though. I couldn't get enough of the spicy garlic edamame. A friend suggested this place and I can't like I was skeptical at first. I was wrong, way wrong. I crave this place now. It's nice inside and was decorated for Christmas. The service was the only downfall. We got our appetizers but it took another 45 minutes to get our sushi. Not dinging them for this on the rating though because our server gave us the heads up that they were running behind and was very apologetic.

This spot is amazing! I went here with my friends and it's the perfect spot for sushi. We came in on a Saturday night and were surprisingly seated quickly. We ordered many sushi dishes, our favorite is the 45(?) roll which is an off-menu item. So delicious! This restaurant is pretty loud. Our server was great and gave us a wonderful sake recommendation.

I was finally able to try this gem last night and was glad I did. I'm originally from Dallas but moved to California a few years ago but come home during the holidays. My bff and I decided to have sushi and this was one of her recommendations. We originally sat at the bar but were able to get a table afterwards. I don't remember the name of our waiter but he was amazing! Everything he recommended was delicious. For cocktails we had martini's and Paloma's which were both really good. Then we had an appetizer that isn't on the menu. I don't remember the name but it was crispy rice with tuna on top. After that we had salmon carpaccio, tuna and yellowtail nigiri, and the 43 roll. Every dish was delicious but to me the star of the show was definitely the 43 roll! The place was also packed and super lively. I'm so glad we decided on this spot last night. I will definitely return when I visit again.

I dream about their Caesar roll!! It can be very busy, but it's worth it in my opinion.

This place was shockingly good. I don't think the chef is Japanese, but enough of my snobbery. The fish was extremely fresh and the salmon, roe, the Uni, and the Toro were amazing. Uni was a bit overpriced. At least for my pocket. Everything was so fresh and I will absolutely come back.

Great food and excellent service. Being someone that lives at the west coast and eats lots of sushi, this is the real deal in Dallas.

The food is excellent but they charge you like a 15 or 20% fee on takeout. I think that is ridiculous and then they could be looking for tips also so that's why they get the low rating is because they are charging that.

Oishii is a breath of fresh air. I go to many sushi restaurants, but this one stands out. The servers are attentive and customer focused. The food is absolutely amazing and top notch. Their drink selection is abundant. Our group of four had an unforgettable time. We also got to meet the owner and we can see his personality is what sets the tone for the entire restaurant. We will definitely be back and make Oishii a regular outing. I highly recommend Oishii.

I love coming here. The sushi Is always fresh. Service on point. In a crazy strip Center Location. Don't let that fool you. Packed with clients every time I go. Great prices for Incredible quality.

Absolutely DELISH! I have been here in person and have ordered delivery on DoorDash. Don't miss their miso soup, and then some wonderful rolls: Royce, TriBeCa, and Thanh's Scallop. The delivery was packed AND delivered with care. THANK YOU!

Came here for dinner with a friend and we were seated immediately when we arrived. The customer service from the waiter was consistent and good. Our food came out in a timely fashion as well even with a packed restaurant. I ordered the Miso soup to start and it hot and delicious as well as the Shrimp and Pork Egg Rolls. The egg rolls were crunchy and came out hot. I enjoyed both of these starters! For sushi, I ordered a London Roll and I enjoyed it. There's enough pieces for one person to fill up on. I did try my friend's General's Chicken and it was your typical General Tso's Chicken. The prices were big and flavorful. I also tried her Potstickers and they were enjoyable. We had a nice time here and I would definitely come back to try out more of their rolls!

This place is so cute & has very good sushi. Moi favorite sushi place in downtown Dallas. OuiOui. They have the best sashimi salad. I have to have it every time I go. It's a must order. Highest Recommendations.

I was craving sushi and googled top sushi places in Dallas & Oishii came up. I suggest making a reservation, we got there an hour after dinner hours and within 10 minutes of sitting down, every table was taken. For appetizers we started off with fried chicken potstickers and fried calamari. Both were spectacular and the green sauce that came with the calamari was very different, went perfectly with it. After the appetizers we got the Himalayan and Texas roll, both left me speechless. The fish tasted so fresh and left us very full, presentation for the Himalayan was on point. I noticed a lot of people ordering the lychee martini and I just had to try it, it was the perfect amount of sweet and vodka ratio. To finish off the delicious food, we got green tea mochi, it definitely hit the spot. Richard was our waiter and he was great! He suggested everything we ordered because it was our first time and I'm glad he was well educated on the menu. We definitely will be returning!

Good food, fair service, and decor could use some work. Was expecting a full Hibachi experience, but that was not the case. Good food, but this place is tiny.

Excellent food as always and the packaging for to go orders always keeps it fresh :) We ordered about 6 rolls for pickup along with a Miso. Probably our go to spot for nice sushi. Next time we'll need to dine in!

Have heard of this place for awhile and finally came to check it out! It's pretty big but also full of customers. We saw several tables with the Salted Tofu and had to order. It was pretty good. Light batter and very crispy! The Thanh Scallop roll was my favorite and very unique. The lemon and truffle oil combo flavor works so well together. The Caterpillar roll and nigiri were just ok. Wasn't all that fresh. Overall this isn't the best sushi in town so I likely won't be back.

Oishii is my go to place for sushi at lunch or dinner. Good service in a clean environment with consistently fresh fish. The Royce Roll may be one of the best rolls in DFW. Yellowtail, Blue Fin and Toro sashimi is always spot on.

Food is good but they close down the ability for online ordering on all food delivery platforms and even on their own website. So the only way you can get take out is by calling in. You will also be charged a 10% service charge on your carry out orders

Awesome place for sushi and a cool vibe. We always love their sushi rolls which are super fresh and the service is always great!! We also love taking out from Oishii. I started with Miso soup and seaweed salad. The soup was hot and delicious.. not too salty. The salad was super fresh. All the rolls were incredibly delicious and creative. Our server provided spot-on recommendations based on what we were feeling which was something crunchy with a little kick of spice. We've tried quite a few of their specialty rolls over time and have enjoyed all. Can't wait to go back or take-out again!

You can never go wrong with oishii for sushi! One of the best more affordable places around. The ambiance and service is always nice and the rolls are delish. A few of my favs are the ahi tuna tower, the Royce roll, the Himalayan and the opera!

Some of the best sushi in Dallas! I've been to this location as well as Plano, and the food is consistently great at each. I came here on a Friday for dinner and there was a great crowd! I had a dirty martini which was great, miso soup, and shared 4 rolls with 2 friends and we still had leftovers. The service was a little below average, just long breaks in between when she would come check on us. Overall, highly recommend for a date night or sushi dinner with friends!

Wow! I never eat fish because I hate the smell but this place was an exception. My friends recommended some off menu items that I forgot what was called but I took pictures of it (ones arranged in a circle). They urged me to try some and I was hesitant because it was raw fish. I caved in and tried it and my mind was blown. The combination of ingredients and flavors was unique. Everything tasted so fresh and it was addicting. Definitely recommend. Also tried the lychee cocktail and it was amazing. Service was great even though the place was packed. We were given good recommendations. Would love to comeback and try the Vietnamese food they have here too.

My husband and myself and a family friend had lunch on Saturday around noon. We were greeted & seated. Our waiter Dannee greeted us and took all of our orders! He was so professional and delightful, I was asking if white meat was used for either General's chicken or orange chicken, he went and asked the cook. I wish Dannee could be everywhere I go to eat or where customer service is needed. His attention to detail is flawless, his attentive without being over bearing. We live in McKinney and family friend in Wylie but drive to this location because of the quality of food and very important service! Now that we know Dannee is here we will back soon and ask for him!!! Our experience was excellent!!

We were a little concerned about the authenticity of an Asian restaurant that offers Thai dishes, Vietnamese vermicelli and pho, and Japanese sushi together. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, regardless of its "fusion" appearance. We sat at the sushi bar, and the chef who served us was very friendly, as was our hostess. She accidentally gave us double the amount of nigiri (4) we wanted, and charged us only for (2). When we asked her about this mistake, she apologized and insisted on not charging us the amount we owed. Back to the food, we ordered the salmon nigiri, Thanh scallop roll, and the grilled pork vermicelli. The salmon nigiri was very fresh, and the most important factor for me (the sushi rice) was made perfectly with just right amount of sweet. The scallop roll was unique; very tangy and umami, slightly bitter, and full of many different flavors. We watched our sushi chef make our dinner right in front of us and our mouths were watering as he carefully constructed it. The grilled pork vermicelli was scrumptious. The meat wasn't overcooked and the noodles had a nice texture to them. My favorite was the egg roll (cut into fours). I guess the only two downsides I have are that 1.) it's REALLY loud in there. My wife and I had to nearly shout to hear each other and we we sitting next to each other. There were quite a few drunk patrons that exacerbated the noise level too. 2.) The prices are a little expensive, where the special sushi rolls can be about $20 each. Not extravagant, but not the most value-wise dinner. Not sure if it's the best place to take a date on a busy Friday night if you want good conversation, but fine for an after-work hangout or meal.

One of the best sushi spots in the area. Love coming here for lunch with coworkers. The sushi is always fresh and service is great! You must try the 44 roll!!!

I was expecting more. Good ambiance. Service okay. Pricey for what we got and the rolls were mostly cold (I like a few baked options). If you are looking for sushi, there are much better spots.

I'm taking off a star only because my cooked sushi roll came out when the rest of my group was basically done eating. We came in without a reservation and we're seated pretty quickly. The ambiance is very dim so use your flashlight if ya need for the menu! Staff was courteous and as attentive as any super busy server would be. I did not like their sweet and sour sauce as it tasted very orange peel like. My London roll was outstanding, ate within moments since came out late and was so delicious!

Food was outstanding and the service above that. Highly recommend this place for your occasion.

Service 4.8 A little rushed but otherwise great. Food 5 out 5 I loved the lunch menu seafood hot dish. The two sashimi and sushi with the avocado and seaweed on top were both 5 out of 5 so enjoyable. Fresh and cold plated sushi and sashimi is prime excellence. Honestly, they need to relocate to a larger space. I was stuck in the corner with the view of a kitchen. I hate my back against all the activity like I'm in the corner on timeout. 1-5

I absolutely love this place! My friend looked them up online and they had favorable reviews so we gave them a chance! Parking is kind of slim but they're all free and you'll be able to park around the surrounding restaurants nearby. This place is crowded! We knew by how many people were in here that it was gonna be good. Make sure you make a reservation! The calamari was so delicious! Not too crunchy but had a really great texture! It was salted perfectly with the added lemon and the vegetables that they were served with it was delicious. The sushi rolls really were amazing. They were big but not too big, tons of flavor and the food came out so fast! I'm so impressed by this location, I can't wait to go back and try more of their rolls!!

The sushi was incredible, would definitely go back. As for the ambiance, it is great to go there on a date but don't forget your coat (brrrr). The waiter was constantly checking up on us so overall good service.

We've ordered sushi a few times to go from the new Preston Forest location - the first two times were fine, although I had to go back in after checking the bag in the car. They had forgotten $24 work of albacore and did not put ginger or wasabi in the bag. The front desk was very apologetic and got what I was missing immediately. The third time was a terrible experience. I ordered 4 rolls, 2 orders of albacore sushi, and spring rolls to go in the store and was told 25 minutes wait. An hour and 15 minutes later I was told that they were waiting on 3 rolls. 25 minutes later my food was ready. I had to give one of the rolls back and get my money back because it wasn't made correctly and I couldn't wait. I was not the only to go person waiting on food - at least 5 of us in the lobby at one point - all waiting much longer than told. The manager only came up when someone asked to speak to them and after hearing a complaint, didn't apologize and instead said she had been there since 10:00 am and was ready to go home. They never apologized, offered to make anything right, and were actually pretty rude when giving me the money for the roll they had gotten incorrect - a food allergy at that. I also don't know why it's hard to remember ginger and wasabi for to go sushi rolls. If you're wanting to go, I would not order from this location.
