Amazing experience with a great dango tasting opportunity. Lots of variations including seasonal ones, the apricot was our fave. The accompanying tea is a must and the service is lovely. Thankfully, many tourists only buy from the shop and may not notice the actual sit down restaurant. It is also typically near capacity so queues will put people off. We got lucky and got in immediately and had a lovely experience in the peace of the restaurant frequented by older locals enjoying tea together. Great atmosphere but not to be spoiled with selfies, etc.

I ordered the Dango Set and Kakigori, and both were absolutely delicious! The kakigori was especially perfect for this hot day. The inside of the shop was cool and comfortable, making the experience even better. There was about a 15-minute wait to get in, but since we were able to wait inside, we didn’t feel stressed by the heat at all. They also offer takeout, so next time I’d love to buy a variety of dango to enjoy at home!

Wow, these Dangos were unlike any I’ve had before. Incredibly soft and not that chewy. The bean paste had a mild sweetness which I loved. I had a seasonal Sakura bean paste and Matcha paste Dango and god it was delicious. Truly Dango making as an art form.

Beautiful and huge variety of dango. Dango was rather soft and chewy, and bean paste was thick and flavourful yet not too sweet. Love the bean paste. Red bean soup with sticky rice was also not bad. Dine in on a weekend and it was not crowded, quite a pleasant place for a relaxing afternoon. Staff service is great in refilling tea!

Minimum order of one item per person. Great dango and generous toppings. We had the seasonal Strawberry dango, Kinako, Mirarashi with Shichimi, and Black Sesame.

I’ve been to this little traditional Dango place so many times over the years but I stoped at their cafe for the first time. It’s pretty spacious and got lovely sweet selection. Service is quick and prompt. They serve Dango as well as red bean soup and Anmitsu. Good place to stop by if you like Japanese sweets.

Lots of dango to choose from. It's a really popular place. There's a constant line-up durng mid-afternoon on a weekend. From strawberry daifuku's to dangoes of many different flavours. The black sesame dango is slightly more salty and sweet, which I didn't expect. It's a good dango, both soft and chewy. It feels like it's all freshly made too. The expiry date for all of the products is the same day, so it's recommended to eat it as soon as possible.

Yelp
I stopped by on my way back to my hotel and was so happy I did! I was craving some mitarashi dangos, and it was my last day in Japan - this place satisfied my cravings and more! There was a line when I was there, but the longer line was for people waiting to sit inside the restaurant, and the other, shorter line was for people just shopping for dangos. I bought 3 sticks here - one of the sweet sauce, one that was matcha flavored dangos covered in azuki, and a shoyu one wrapped in nori. LOOOOVED them all, especially the matcha dangos. Each stick was about 200 yen, which is very reasonable for such delicious snacks!

Yelp
Came here with a friend to get some matcha shave ice. It's quite big with red bean on top. A bit pricey but very yummy!

Yelp
Tried a bunch of different flavored dango. I think the traditional is still my favorite though l the dango covered in beans were also very good. I prefer to eat it grilled hot which is why I didn't give this place more stars. The ship is cute with the most adorable women behind the counter. Don't go out of your way to get here but if you want a sweet treat while you're on the area you should stop by.

Yelp
Little shop specializing in selling dango, which is Japanese mochi balls on a stick. Our favorite flavor was the white mochi with black sesame paste. Matcha with red bean paste was good too. It's cute and different, but not something I must have.
