Okapi Neuchâtel

We stopped at this cafe for brunch on route to Zurich. A great find. Service was good and the food exceptional. We ordered a smashed avocado with cheese and added egg and bacon. The best ever my husband said. The yoghurt with honey berries, local cheese, toast and jam was creatively presented and tasted fresh and sweet. Good strong coffee too. The restaurant had a welcoming vibe, from friends meeting to young Mum’s with toddlers, everyone was welcome. While we were there, the menu changed to lunch dishes…. all looked good. A lovely find in this pretty lakeside town.

The place is nice as it is a historical location in the city centre. The outdoor seating is also nice. The inside decoration is not bad... it's simple and not really changed from the previous restaurant. The staff are nice and friendly. They have Sunday brunch... 2 types, Classic and another one a bit more elaborated. The menu of lunch and dinner are different, and they also have weekly proposals. During Sunday brunch, you can choose one of brunch choice or from the menu. The food is pretty good and drinks also... especially their smoothies. I can say the experience is pretty good.... for a brunch. I'll try dinner for you!

We were pleasantly surprised by this cafe. Stopped in for breakfast and was impressed by the options. My son loved the pancakes and the eggs and toast were perfect. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Nice dining room vibes. I’d definitely like to try this place for dinner.

I looked this place up before I even flew into Switzerland and it held up to my expectations. The food was presented beautifully and the staff is so nice. I do not speak French, but Google Translate helped me place my order and the staff was very patient. It's worth the visit.

Went for dinner and it was great! Very delicious food, with everything from meat to vegetarian to vegan available. Portions are just right for us, a little small if you are really hungry. caution: the logos on the menu are not correct! The burger is not vegan! Check the online menu on the website for the correct labels! Can recommend the spicy peanut noodles for vegans. The meat was tender and served with chips. The Mocktails are also good. Staff if friendly, and there is the option to sit inside or outside. Will come again!

Amazing breakfasts with a lot of savory options but there are also a couple of sweet ones. You can adapt it to your likes by adding some ingridients eggs/avocado/bacon etc). I highly recommend the okapi cake - one of the best carrot cakes ever! But the lime cheesecake is also a very good and creamy option 🤤

Been here several times. Food's always fresh, extremly tasty, prepared & served with love. A rare gem. Particularly love the creative blend of tastes from all around the world, always with a hint of kimchi. Extensive drinks menu for all times of the day and every mood.

I asked for cortado coffee which universally includes milk in it. I mean literally in whole world cortado means one thing. She gave me filter coffee instead espresso and no milk. I asked for cortado after seeing she did wrong and she said cortado is ‘without milk’ in this cafe. (!) Nonsense. Then she added tons of milk on filter coffee.+ charged extra. At the end I had tasteless coffee with warm milk. If you have a place you professionally sell coffee, stuff is responsible to know coffee types at least!! This is the minimum. Attitude wasnt great either. I was liking this place in their previous small shop, now quality is low. Wont get anything again.

Cute coffee place right across from the side of ZARA. It's tiny but there's free WiFi and a few outlets to do light work on the side.
