We stayed 9 nights at the Okawati Boutique Bungalows & had a wonderful stay! The staff are very friendly & accomodating. We enjoyed the breakfasts which were included, lots of fruit & would recommend the banana, & pineapple crepes. The poached eggs are yummy too, eggs sweeter than where we live. We had a swim today & very refreshing & enjoyable, the pool is a good size. Bed is huge & very comfortable, we got the double garden room with balcony, rooms very clean! The location was the draw card for us, very central location close to cafes & shops. Very quite though as down a long lane way! Would recommend!!!

The warmest welcome you’ll ever receive. Okawati & her family make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely rustic rooms and a perfect location just off Ubud central main streets.||There are pets - mum & daughter rabbits and an abandoned white dog. They just add to the family ambience. Highly recommended as a place to stay.

We stayed here 8 night's whilst exploring Bali. It's a great place to stay down one of the many alleys off the main road but very accessible to bars and restaurants. We had an upstairs room which was large and very beautiful in the balaniese style. Large comfortable bed large bathroom with bath and overhead shower toiletries provided shampoo shower gel and liquid hand soap. We had a great large balcony with table chairs and really comfortable recliner. Great view of the garden. They cleaned the room daily and changed towels when asked. Breakfast was nice. We had Banana/pineapple pancake yogurt and honey and fresh fruit with tea or coffee you could have different if wanted. Daily bottled water in the room. We used the pool which was a nice relief after a hot day. They provide pool towels.|Although it was the rainy season they borrow you umbrellas. The Staff and owners were lovely. Nice to see the rabbits. There is some building work going on next door bit noisy but we were out most of the time so didn't bother us.|

Very welcome and nice hotel. Owned by a lovely family. Close to city center but still nice and quiet. Rooms and swimming pool are adequate and you will have enough space and air conditioning in your room. Definitely good value.

Stayed with family. The place is very welcoming , clean with beautiful lush green garden and very nice pool area. Building and rooms are spacious with the old traditional architecture through out. Having little fish pond just outside our room. Property has couple of cute rabbits too ☺️ which my daughter's loved to pat and even hold.

While the location is good with some great eating/drinking options within walking distance, the access is down an alleyway so carting your luggage to the hotel can be very awkward if you're not travelling light. The staff are friendly but seem quite insistent on offering you breakfast which is of very limited options, even when we politely declined they still knock on your door each morning to ask (around 8am/8:30am) the walls are thin enough you can hear any conversation in the rooms next to you. There is noisy construction happening next door which was not mentioned when booking nor on arrival, this starts at around 7am each day. If none of these things wake you up I'm sure the rats scratching around in the roof will. We stayed almost a full week and were never once given fresh towels, even when we left them on the floor to signify they were dirty they simply hung them back up again. The "cleaning" of the room was basically just them making the bed and putting out fresh bottles of water, we even needed to supply our own handsoap as the bottle provided was empty the whole time. One day when we asked them specifically not to make up our room they did it anyway while we were out, meaning the young gentleman handled my wife's underwear which was on the bed (the entire reason we asked them not to) i find this very disrespectful. We also found the windows in the shower to be completely inappropriate as it means you are visible to neighbouring rooms while showering. Not sure who wants to use an old dirty loofah either, certainly not us! Overall the prices vs quality of stay are extremely out of proportion given the many options available in Ubud. Would not stay here again
