Okay 1 Villa

Great Hotel, But Request a Quiet Room! I genuinely liked my stay at Okay 1 Villa and would stay here again, but with one crucial condition. The Cambodian decor is beautiful, and the staff are absolutely fantastic—friendly and accommodating. The room was always cleaned to a high standard, exactly when I wanted. The location is great for exploring Siem Reap, the internet was good and reliable, and the rooftop pool with its cafe is a lovely feature. The basic breakfast provided every morning was enjoyable. However, I must warn future guests about the noise. My room was located next to an alleyway, and the windows were not soundproof. Unfortunately, a pack of dogs was barking, howling, and fighting loudly throughout the entire night. This significantly disrupted my sleep and left me feeling sleep-deprived. This is a great hotel, but I strongly advise requesting a room at the other end of the hotel, preferably above the reception, to avoid this issue. If you can secure a quiet room, this is a fantastic and charming place to stay.

The Okay 1 Villa is a 3-star hotel located in Siem Reap. It is a good choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable stay with a range of amenities. ​The hotel is centrally located, about 0.5 km from the city center, and is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is also a short drive from Angkor Wat. ​Rooms decorated in a traditional Khmer style with wooden floors. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV, refrigerator, and coffee/tea making facilities. ​The hotel offers a variety of facilities including a rooftop pool, a bar, two on-site restaurants, a spa, and a hair salon. Other amenities include free WiFi, free parking, a 24-hour front desk. The Okay 1 Villa has a "Very Good", friendly and helpful staff, the convenient location, and the great value for money ($15-$20). The rooftop pool is also a highlight. ​ The hotel facilities are not the newest and there can be some noise from the elevator and the lighting in the rooms could be brighter.

Pretty good budget hotel. For roughly 10 dollars / night I got a big room, clean, with good internet, good aircon and decent bathroom. Staff is friendly. Not in the best part of town in my opinion.

Staying in Okay 1 Villa was an amazing experience! And I highly recommend.. Price/quality ratio is exactly what I would expect plus delicious breakfast including in the prize as a bonus. ||||But overall what left the biggest impression on me and what is most important to me are the staff, who were amazing. ||Nothing was a problem, everyone was helpful and very nice. I would especially like to thank the staff who worked at the roof top bar/breakfast. Always smiling and nice. ||And the biggest thanks goes to the lady who worked in the kitchen (unfortunately I don't know her name) but came to say goodbye to me when I was leaving... and that’s mean a lot for me.. ||Thank you for a great experience and a wonderful stay! I will definitely be back.

Enjoyed my stay here. Comfortable room, beautifully decorated with wood. Pretty central, helpful staff. Our driver Mr Rock, who is associated with the hotel, was working at Grab rates, was very kind and accommodating. We used the restaurant next door as the rooftop restaurant was closed when we wanted to eat

I recommend this hotel. I've stayed in lots of Siem reap hotels so I feel I know good value. The rooms are really beautiful, big, great mattress and pillows. Quiet air con with a fan and high ceilings. Everything is made of a lovely dark wood. The rooms are quiet, I stayed almost three weeks and never heard my neighbours although I know the rooms were full. Tv has fashion tv and sports channels, international channels. There are power points next to the bed and a dimming light above the bed for night time. Blackout curtains and hot water in the shower and sink for shaving. Also the staff are very friendly and I felt very comfortable, not intrusive but always very positive and I felt good everytime I walk in and out past reception and into the hotel, which is really important to me. Also fridge and the kettle had zero mold, 100% clean!, first hotel I've stayed in where the kettles were clean, like brand new!. So thanks to the reception and cleaning staff for being so friendly. The whole place is really lovely and I'd definitely come back again. Also there's a pool and restaurant upstairs which has amazing views over Siem reap. Thanks for the stay, Kind regards, Matthew.

Very nice family run hotel. Location is good with great proximity to Hari Japanese Restaurant and Bakery. The rooftop pool is beautiful without too much chlorine. Cute little family place. Friendly atmosphere

The hotel is same as in the pictures. It’s very pretty and authentic inside, the pool is clean, the rooms are spacious, the water is hot. They expect to leave shoes outside or take them to the room when walking in socksThey clean the rooms only if you ask to clean In the mornings it’s a bit noisy because of the neighbours and the cleaning staff talking loudly in the hallsThe rest is great
