Okay Guesthouse Siem Reap

Better than “okay” as a budget priced place to spend a few days in Siem Reap.||Pros: the room was large , bed comfortable, the roof top pool was beautiful, staff friendly and responsive if asked to do something, filtered water available from reception on request. ||Cons: no breakfast provided, restaurant/ bar wasn’t available (April 2024), seems its past it’s prime, things like the shower bracket was broken so shower handset wouldn’t stay on wall. Take one of the pool towels to use as a bath mat as otherwise bathroom is incredibly slippery.||We stayed 6 nights, and it was a pleasant and very affordable stay, but nothing amazing.

Probably the best hotel at Siem Reap!I stayed here for around 5 days and did not face even a slight discomfort!The rooms are huge and luxurious. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful.A perfect all rounder! Highly recommended!Thanks!

Very cute low key spot to stay and you won't break the bank. Rooms are basic. Don't expect anything extravagant. We had one large bed. Comfy enough to sleep on. Decent swamp cooler that worked fairly well. The bathroom was a bit different. The show and toilet shared the same floor with no barriers. That was strange but it cleaned our bodies, soooo. The restaurants upstairs was pretty cool. It had a nice view of the town. We had our morning breakfast there daily. Servers are great and polite. The pool area is a bit small but it does the job to hang and unwind for the day. The service is 24 hour so there is someone always at the receptionist. The hotel offers transportation and tour services. The place is trustworthy. They arranged a tuk tuk driver for us. The name of the driver was Mr. Hi. He was awesome. Drove us everywhere and anywhere and made sure we would be safe. All and all, this is a chic budget friendly stay.

We loved the pool! And people on reception. Good restaurant too, they had superb banana shake. If your Tuktuk driver will be Smiley, you are in good hands. No noise from street, recommending.

During my stay the AC was broken. It was so hot and I can’t sleep well. There is no solution for me.

Staff were absolutely lovely and friendly especially the ladies in the restaurant.|Our room was clean and great for the cheap price with a strong air con. Beds were quite hard though and uncomfortable and toilet was very small with shower over the toilet seat.|The pool on the roof is great and very clean. It's perfect to relax up there in the evening or morning to get away from the busy city life.|Breakfast isn't very good and rather simple.|The hotel is beautifully decorated and very regal.|Clean, great location and lovely people! 15 min walk to Pub Street and markets or very short Tuc Tuc ride and there is always one outside the hotel waiting.

Why a fantastic place. The outside of the building is amazing and beautiful and the wood carvings in reception are absolutely wonderful. The reception crew are brilliantly professional and friendly and really try hard to speak English. The rooms are large and definitely adequate and the bathroom is clean. For the price it is incredible value for money. The cherry on the top is the restaurant and swimming pool on the roof. It is so amazing and the chicken amok was superb. I highly recommend staying here. So far it has been by far the best accommodation I have stayed in in Cambodia.
