Stepping into Okay Italia was like taking a delicious trip down memory lane. The food is every bit as fantastic as I remember it being 20 years ago! We came for late lunch and still available seats. The location is very convenient, parking is abit hard. The pizza and pasta are delicious, cozy and beautiful restaurant. I love it so much. And price is so good.

Great price and food was delicious, big portions as well. I was just distracted by the fact that the fish that are there have a really tiny space to live in and there are quite a lot of:/ but overall great restaurant

This small and very popular Italian restaurant is a great find. They have a large selection of pastas, pizza, and meat options. We have visited twice for the delicious pastas, lasagna, ravioli, etc. The servings are very generous so bring your appetite.

Great. A classic Italian trattoria, right at the busy main street leading to Margit island — food is of great quality, they even serve fish and sea food .. and those are fresh from the sea. The salmon has been a lovely choice, freshly grilled — tender, with a sparkle of lemon to it. The spaghetti were really nicely done, perfectly ‘Al dente’ with a nice, rich tomato sauce; sounds simple, but require good ingredients and skill to prepare. There’s an outside terrace for the warmer summer months, traffic can be an issue. Service is great, people are nice and friendly.

If there was a zero star, i would give it for service. I came back to this restaurant after 15 years because of their amazing food, unfortunately I had a poor experience due to the waitress rushing me to pick my dish. She said the kitchen was closing, but then seated people ten minutes after making us choose our dish. And they didn’t clean the table.

OKAY Italia is a great place where I have been a few times in the last few months. Food is very satisfying, products used seem fresh. I like the very Italian style pizza with a thin crust. Desserts a generally very good and portions are generous. Prices are a bit above average for Budapest. The decoration is nice but the main issue is the noise as it is on the main körút. Selection of beers on the tap is limited but for wine you can find both Hungarian and Italian.

Every time we come to visit Budapest we come to the restaurant and are not disappointed. The design and the atmosphere, and the food. Good tasting. And especially not expensive. And we will come back again.
