A beautiful hidden gem outer Rotovegas. Being local for many years but you guys were in my to do list. Finally ticked off 😁 Wow, that smash burger so mouthwatering and money worth. And your customer service is fantastic. The atmosphere gives the relaxing vibe. Also, the wee store sells local stuffs like locally made honey (I bought one already), hand made air freshners etc. And we brought some muffins and slices of cakes on our way. They were so yum. Quality of food at its best! Highly recommended as a local ❤️

Finally stopped by this café we always pass on the way to Tauranga , and so glad we did! It’s a cozy little spot by Okere falls. The whole experience was awesome. The food was delicious with big portions and good prices. Coffee was perfect, and the customer service was friendly and welcoming. Such a nice, peaceful vibe.

Heard about this little gem from a few locals and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and great value for money. I added salmon to my chilli scrambled eggs, some places charge $6 and give you barely anything, but here the portion was generous and totally worth it. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem that feeds more than just your body. Okere Falls Café is the kind of place that reminds you how life’s simplest pleasures—good food, great coffee, and a stunning view—can feel utterly extraordinary. Tucked away in what feels like the middle of nowhere, it offers a dining experience that rivals some of the best city spots. The food was nothing short of divine. As an Australian, I’m used to avocado being rationed like gold, but here it was plentiful, creamy, and absolutely perfect. And let’s talk about the espresso martini—they serve it in the morning, and I’ll admit it was the perfect little dose of courage before our white-water rafting adventure next door. A café that serves a good breakfast and liquid bravery? Truly a gift to humanity. What really sets this place apart, though, is its soul. There’s something special in the air—perhaps the combination of delicious food, friendly staff, and the natural beauty surrounding it. It’s more than a meal; it’s a moment to pause, breathe, and remember how good life can taste. I wish this café was closer, but that makes it even more special. It’s a place I’ll gladly travel for and recommend to everyone I know. Okere Falls Café nourishes the body, delights the taste buds, and leaves the soul a little lighter.

Had the smashed Beef burger, was absolutely fantastic. Wifey had the chilli and scrambled eggs which she thought highly of as well. Was lucky enough to get a car park on the premises but plenty of parks in the surrounding road if you don't. Plenty of seating too. Overall an awesome place, I'm a bit gutted it isn't in Auckland.

Unexpectedly the best ham and cheese toasties ! Toasted sourdough with fresh mozzarella was divine. Delightful experience for our weekend trip. Dr Bucha was so nice too.

Wow! The Smash Burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in the world!! (US, Canada, UK, Europe, South Africa, Oz, NZ, and a few others.) Nice selection of craft beers on tap (about a dozen). Beer garden is a quiet refuge, not a raucous place. Service was very friendly and efficient. Recommended!

The best breakfast I’ve ever had. The big breakfast and the cheese toastie were incredible.
